Came here on a Thursday afternoon while wandering around the neighborhood. Was originally going to another place but a rather large hill kinda intimidated me… Anyway! Great place! Don’t let the décor fool you, or the lack of décor. And yes, usually I like my places to be airy and bright with lots of polishes ordered by color and brand, but this place was not too bad at all. Only one person working(Tony?) and he was doing a pedi for a regular customer. He asked if I could wait so I said sure. 15 mins later, he’s done with the pedi and moves her to the tables. I can wait another 20 mins… And then the regular customer’s friend comes in. I get scared… But he tells me that he’ll do me next even though the friends are saying that the friend should be next! I just asked for a regular mani and pedi. Definitely felt rushed but he worked really efficiently. If I can get out quicker than expected, I’m okay with that! Even when I smudged my toe a bit moving from the massage chair to the manicure table, he fixed it immediately. Really happy with the results! Especially for this price! Mani/Pedi — $ 22

Well there is usual a wait. however when you do get in, you wont regret it. Every time i get impatient and go somewhere else I regret it and come back another day… so just wait or come when its slow. you will be out in no time with your nails looking poppin!

I love this place. They do a great job when it comes to pink and white nails. I recommend it

I was a walk in for a gel set. The gentleman doing my nails was brusque and didn’t seem like he wanted to be bothered. The UV light they have is weird, your fingertips get close enough to the bulb that you’re afraid of messing up the paint job. No music. But there was court tv! I’d say skip it.

The first time I came here was for a mani pedi. They didnt have that big massage chair. I love massage chairs when I get a pedicure. I got a pink bow on my big toe. Tony did it of course and it came out so cute! The service is ok. Tony is nice, but Jenny… not so much. The last time I came here was mani a manicure. it didnt last very long and took forever to finish. I give them three stars because 1) its cheap 2) tony goes a good job for nail designs. but other than that, its no good. I wont come here again unless I have no other place to go to.

On a sunday afternoon, most places are quickly looking to close. I called in asking for 2 mani-pedis for around 4pm, and even though the place closes at 5, they said it wasn’t too late. Fortunately, parking was easy because its Sunday and its free parking everywhere. Because its $ 20 for a mani-pedi. You get what you pay for: — If you’re like me and like pastel colors, bring your own polish: Not a lot of variety of nail polish, most colors were either neon-like extreme, thick glitter polish, light glitter polish, or dark polish. There is Essie, China Glaze, and dollar-store looking polish, NOOPI’s. — No Massage chairs. You dip your feet in one of these: BUT The owners Jenny and Tony were very friendly. Jenny loves to talk a lot to her costumers, which is different from most places that where there’s just awkward silence. Jenny did my mani-pedi, and she did a really good job cleaning out my feet. But I liked my manicure better than the pedicure. Tony did my mom’s mani-pedi and he also did a good job and was very quick. A lot of the other customers also commented saying he was really good. Something you might not know: Sydney isn’t the owner, she’s actually Jenny and Tony’s five year old child. Which I thought was really cute. They talked a lot about her and running their business together. From what I heard other customers say, they’re known for their designs. Two fingers for $ 5 If you’re really broke(like myself) and you just need a place to get a cheap, alright mani-pedi, and no rude service, Sydney nails is your place.
