Go here if you’re a masochist. As soon as I walked in there was a line of 5 people waiting to place their order and about 5 other people waiting to pick up their food. This should have been adequate signal to me to just walk out, but I decided to stay.(«Two roads diverged in a yellow wood…») When it was my turn to order, I ordered a chicken chalupa and coke. The woman at the register seemed confused. As if I had invented a new menu item. I repeated«a chicken chalupa. from the Taco Bell menu, please.» «OK — beef right?» «Um no, chicken. and a diet coke» «OK — you get that on your own» «OK — thanks» I proceed to pay. She takes the receipt and places it on the counter. I did not receive my cup. I go to sit down and just begin to take in my surroundings. The kitchen looks dirty. There appears to be only one person working there. And she’s taking orders with a lackadaisical attitude. Is she supposed to be the one making the food, too? !#$%. 10 minutes later, the line of people coming in grows. The line of people waiting for their food grows. Another woman shows up to help with making the food. People waiting to order begin to give up and walk out. People waiting for their order begin to get frustrated. I watch the cashier haphazardly review the receipts on the counter and randomly crumble the receipts and throw to the dirty floor. It’s 12:30pm and I try to join their free wifi(yay!), but then Apple refuses to let me join because it’s an unsafe connection.(When life gives you signs…) I walk up to the counter to get my cup. I get my cup and walk to the machine. No ice. I don’t even bother asking. They have bigger issues here than no ice. I see another employee walk in. presumably back from her break. I assumed she’d jump in to help after seeing the restaurant at fire hazard levels of maximum occupancy. But no, she grabs her mac and cheese and eats it in the back. Who even made that mac and cheese, I wonder. A guy who had just walked in goes to the ice machine, see’s it’s out, and asks for ice. The cashier doesn’t even look at him, but manages to eek out«the sensor is out. we have no ice.» It’s now 12:45, I walk up to the counter to see if my order is coming up. My receipt is gone. Crumbled and thrown on the ground I’m guessing. I manage to get the cashiers attention. «Hey, my receipt is gone. I ordered 1 chalupa a while ago. Did you guys throw away the receipt?» «Oh — I’ll make it for you now» A guy next to me at the counter also grabs her attention — «Hey — I super-sized this.» She looks confused. He proceeds to explain«It means I payed for more.» «Oh. I’ll go get you the extra sides» Another guy gets his order of a few boxes of KFC chicken and sides. «Can I have a bag for this?» The cashier responds: «We don’t have any bags.» He struggles out of the restaurant with this order spilling out his arms. A girl receives her order of KFC and 3 cokes and meekly asks«Can I maybe have a cup holder… by any chance.» I could see in her eyes and hear in her tone that she knew she wouldn’t get one. «Sorry — We don’t have those anymore.» The cashier finally goes to the back to make my chalupa. I watch her intently. Gloves are on. Small miracles. She hollers at me from the back«You want beef, right.?» «No, No – chicken please» She hands me my chalupa. I sympathetically look at the people in line and I almost want to just tell them to leave. Save yourself. But, I was tired. I leave. The chalupa sucked. TL;DR: Walked in at 12:00PM and left with my to-go order at 12:50PM.

Horrible very rude customer service they are very slow. They also served old food. The lettuce and tomato were spoiled in the crunchwrap supreme.

VILE. This place is in serious need of a health inspection! This is a fast-food chain so I expected the food to be the same as any other Taco Bell location. Unfortunately the food was sub-par. The ingredients in the food did not look fresh. The place itself was grimy and there were hundreds of little tiny flies everywhere. And worst of all: a RAT hopped out of who-knows-where and towards the bathroom. That should explain a whole lot about the quality of this place. The service was decent but does not make up for any of the flaws of this place. This Taco Bell location is nothing short of horrifying.

By far the worst Taco Bell ever. Everyone was complaining about how long the food was taking. Waited over 20 min for my food. I have never seen this at a Taco Bell in my life. I go to Taco Bell at least once every month. This is one to definitely avoid guys and gals. Went to bathroom played on my phone, talked to my friend and was texting friends while still waiting. I’d give this place negative stars if I could. They didn’t even tell me they were out of chicken till over 20 min after. Lol! Why would anyone torture themselves here. I wanted to get my money back and leave but had already waited this long. Holy smokes!!! Forgot to mention people were missing food from their orders and getting the wrong stuff.

It was super-hot inside, like their AC wasn’t working. Maybe 20 degrees hotter than outside of the building. Not comfortable at all. The bathroom looked like a scene from CSI: Tenderloin. The food took forever, considering how simple the order. And my belly was upset later. Thanks but no thanks.

This is the worst Taco Bell ever. For some reason I continue to eat here. The employees don’t care about the time they take to make your food, very disorganized and dirty. I waited 25 minutes for two tacos. 2!!! Anyways the manger is nice but they need to step their customer service and food preparation up big time.

I don’t understand why it takes so long to get food at this particular Taco Bell. It takes 15 – 20 minutes here and I have been able to get the same meal within three minutes at other locations. Employees are nice but are not efficient. Take a Xanax before you venture in…

Facilities could have been a lot cleaner and kitchen looked pretty nasty from customer’s point of view. Food took a while and«sitting area» smelled musty. Still love Taco Bell/KFC food, just not as much at this location.

The credit card system is frequently down. They blame it on the phone lines. What is worse is that they don’t let anyone know this until AFTER they order. No signs, no nothing. The person offering up the finished orders couldn’t read or pronounce the word«John» so my order sat getting cold on the counter. I wasn’t given a receipt nor anything to put my items in after I declared the order was«to go». This is definitely one of your more sub-standard stores. Always slow and dirty. Straighten it up or board it up.

I love you Taco Bell. I love you so much that it doesn’t even bother me that this location might be the dirtiest TB location I’ve ever been to. Why? Because your food is so good that I went here 3 times in one week.

Probably the single best restaurant on the planet. It’s a real farm-to-table treat. Great for special occasions. Especially if you’re trying to impress that special someone. Last time I checked, they don’t take reservations; but I put that in the suggestion box, so I expect to see even more amazing changes soon!

Mostly into Taco Bell. Always good food 1 of my favorite fast food restaurants and the food here is always up to part. Needs a little work with maintenance in the door and a little bit more approvement on customer service. Can work a little faster and keeping the lines down. 4 Outstanding Stars

This review is just for Taco bell, Geary and Steiner location. So my bf and I are crazy about the new doritos locos taco. We first tried it in the east bay somewhere and it was excellent, but this is closer to home so the next two times was this location. The first time we tried it, we thought it tasted a little different but it was still ok, then a few hours later diarrhea city! Whatever, maybe it was something else, maybe a bad batch, whatever else, not going to hold it against them. 2 weeks later, we want more locos tacos, same«off» taste and diarrhea few hours later! Ok this is not cool! Since then we’ve had it at other locations in the city and have had no issues, plus they put it in that cute cardboard holder, Geary location does not. I refuse to go back to this location. In fact I am calling SF health dept on this location. Its taco bell, nothing fancy, it’s a shitty location, but still. There should be some standards! Thankfully, I’m not turned off to taco bell or locos tacos but im definitely turned off to this location.

3.5 stars but I like the location and I think the employees here are pretty good especially with all the DGKs, bums and weirdos they have to deal with. Food: Two stars for the food, the food taste a tad bit different compared to other Taco Bells. Ambiance: Recent renovation, so it’s decent inside and fairly clean. Service: Probably the best part, the employees are nice and I came in the other day 2 minutes before they closed and instead of throwing a fit they happily took my order. Price: Same as everywhere else. Overall: Reliable Taco Bell /KFC at a convenient location.

THECASEOFTHEMEANSERVICELADYANDTHEMESSEDUPTACOS! I ordered tacos with beans, no meat. The women scowled at me and put beef in my tacos anyway! I noticed by the time I got home and went back out to return them. The manager had the nerve to tell me to «call ahead of time to make a return.» Why do I need to return my tacos more professionally, they messed up my order? They offered to re-make my tacos, but I insisted on the refund and was reluctantly given one. I just can’t understand why the women would think it odd that I order my tacos without beef(this is San Francisco!), mess it up, and then the manager would give me attitude about wanting my money back. Yes, it could be considered bitchy to return the tacos, but I was so upset with their service and business ethics. I mean I love taco bell, but this site sucks!

Growing up I used to hear about how San Francisco was one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in. How only the very lucky could afford to snag one of the fewly available rent-controlled apartments with a beaut’ view. Then I walk into this Taco Bell and realize that all that marketing fluff is just another yank on ye olde chain. How in the world could a place that squips out bean burritos(yes i said«squip») for $ 0.99 afford to stay in business? Dammit I want Arbys! Does anyone understand how many promotions I am missing as a result of the Taco Bell/KFC hegemony in San Francisco? Doesn’t anyone care about justice in this world? Are we such corporate lackeys that we just roll over and play mute when told to think outside the bun? I DON’T THINKSO! NOT here in the Inner Sunset at least… having put up with the N-Judah I’ve paid the penance of a dozen martyrs. Give me Arby’s or Give me Death.

I boycott the KFC because the smell of fried chicken makes me gag, but I love me some Taco Bell. One star off is for the fact that it’s attached to KFC. The other star off is because they stopped making the Volcano taco, which, although it wasn’t very spicy, was much more flavorful than the regular crunchy taco, and it was cheap. When I want cheap, fake Mexican food, this is my go-to. Where else can you ingest calories enough to last you four hardcore workouts?

OK, something is wrong with this taco bell. I’m not a fast food elitist, when I lived in south bay I went to taco bell at least once a month. Either the south bay taco bells have higher quality or something is wrong with this taco bell. I went for a snack and to try those new«cheap» wraps at kfc. I got the cheap wrap and a steak quesadilla. The wrap was OK, I didn’t even finish it, but that quesadilla’s steak was wrong. It honestly tasted like canned meat! Like it was never ever real steak that was grilled or even cooked. Just boiled in water or something. Gross! Even through the mess of cheese and«sauce» I could tell something was wrong. I threw it away. It was all a waste of money. Why go here when there’s popeye’s close by. Also slightly shady but at least the food tastes right.
