If you can do it go!!! Best in SF. I grew up here and only recently discovered this jem.
T Line from Embarcadero to 23 rd street or Marin street. One block east and look for the streetcar bard. Can’t miss it.

My boyfriend hates getting dessert before a meal so we ended up going to Tacos El Flaco before going to our favorite ice cream place, Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous which is literally a stone’s throw away. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and my boyfriend ordered a carne asada taco and a carnita taco which amounted to about $ 8. The carne asada was good, but not the best. I like my carne asada with a little bit of charred flavor to it, but Tacos El Flaco lacked that, which is fine since it is a preference of mine, but I do wish the meat was cooked more thoroughly. They seem to have frequent customers though, which is nice. I’d come back!

Way better Carnitas burrito than the New Spot– definitely recommend if you’re fine with pinto beans (no black beans available). Reminds me a bit of burritos from Southern California… a bit drier if that makes sense.
4 Stars because I think people are overly-​enthusiastic about ratings on Unilocal.Consider it 5 stars from a normal Unilocal review.

Esta lonchera la recomiendo por que tiene muy buen servicio y mantienen muy limpio afuera y adentro y la a esta riquisima y los cocteles de camaron estan deliciosos y el personal es muy amable

Talking about Mexican food. This is as real as you can get. Great food, fast service. The truck looks pretty clean in&out. Highly recommended.
