Knowledgeable bartender(Gaby I think?), great cocktails(Moscow mule, margarita), but the one drawback is that I was told they have the best beef jerky(local) to snack on-but they were sold out.

Giovanni is fantastic! Nice guy, knowledgeable about his drunks and funny to boot! If you want a chill local bar, check it out. And be sure to tip your bartenders, these ones actually deserve it.

Never call on the phone. Rude lady of course may be different in person but I mean no matter who the customer is you should always be polite especially over the phone or anything really. I got an attitude and even hung up on me. Didn’t really make me feel too welcomed at all is all I’m saying. I’d like to try it again in the future hopefully give this place a better rating and have a good time. Not on the phone tho Mabye just didn’t work for me. So I’m sorry too.

I’m enjoying my experience watching the warriors finals game 2. $ 3 prohibition ale during game time which is awesome if your on a budget. Good selection of beer. Odd«fakish» dive bar look but I’m cool with it and would def recommend it. I can see myself coming here often supporting local business. Also bartender was super cool nice guy working hard but always has time if you got a question or want to try a sample

Terrible service. Crappy décor. About the only thing to say for this place is its about the only game in town as far as neighborhood watering holes in Ingleside. Shitty bar in a shitty neighborhood.

This place is a friendly little neighborhood bar. The bartender with the beefy arms was great… That’s pretty much why I’m writing this review. He honored my free shot coupon and he gave perfect, attentive service to me and my friends. Five stars – do recommend!

After having a booze free dinner at Champa Garden across the street, my girlfriend suggested we go to The Ave. I’m always down for a drink, so we stopped by. This was back in September 2013. Our group of 6 – 8 found a table in the back and started with some hennessey: Looks delicious huh? I’m sure you’re getting thirsty too! All kidding aside, we were that Asian group in the back of the bar playing deuces for shots of hennessey. No one bothered us or told us we were being too loud. It was nice being in a bar where everyone just kind of did their own thing. Everyone was there to drink and have fun. A fun place with great people and a nice vibe.

Definetly a more divey place, but they serve bottomless mimosas on sundays, not a big spot, but stil brought a group of 10 people and we had a good time. The owners are great and very helpful, this is probably my new local spot!!! Price is great too!!!

This bar has so much heart and soul. Firefighter-owned and lots of firefighter regulars(it’s near the Ocean Ave. fire station). People are so nice here. Grownups of all ages and races — we’re always treated well and we always have a good time. A real neighborhood bar for real San Franciscans. Draft beers are all Californian.

I went here to watch a Giants World Series game. No stouts on tap :(but the bartender had some alternative suggestions and even allowed me to sample some of those beers. Staff here are friendly. Excellent atmosphere as we were cheering as loud as we could whenever the Giants made a play. It’s an unassuming, neighborhood divey bar that I wouldn’t mind watching another sports game again over here.

Great place to just sit and talk over a few drinks. The atmosphere is cozy but not dank which is always a plus. Minus one star for not having my go to alcohol but for what it is, it’s a great place to chill and is definitely on my radar.

Pretty good stuff. I’d recommend those who live nearby to check out this place, particularly if you’re into sports or bottomless mimosas(Sunday $ 10). Craft beer is decent, and ranges from $ 5 upward. The place is clean, with seating mainly along the bar and on small table tops along the walls.

This was the first bar I ever entered 5 years ago. It holds a special place in my heart. That is the kind of energy you will feel at this bar. It’s very welcoming and neighborly. Bay Area game days are on point, and you never know who you are going to run into or how many funny conversations you’re gona have. The jukebox is on point and the 90s hiphop will make you happy! I love them especially because they carry ginger beer! That is usually the missing ingredient in most mixed drinks! If you’re looking for a nice lowkey place to hang out and drink, come here! You won’t be disappointed. P. S. Be ready to get hit on you beautiful ladies! Hahaa

A dive bar. Mind you, not one of those charming, quirky, hip dive bars. Plywood walls. Unwelcoming brick front fascia. Mostly barstools. Jukebox and big flat screens. And the best kind of friendly, young owner/bartender. «Sorry, my handwriting on the beer specials is bad. Let me tell you about our local beers. :lists beers: Want to try the 10% beer? It has a bitter aftertaste, but it’s 10%.» How could I say no to 10%? Or to three rounds of $ 6 Jameson on the rocks?

This is a great neighborhood bar! it’s unpretentious and the prices are great but too friendly and well stocked to be considered a dive bar. They have a full bar and feature northern California craft beer on their seven taps
