Good neighborhood bar. Happy hour from 4 – 7 on weekdays is a deal.

It has been a while since I’ve been to a proper dive bar. This is it. Happy hour from 4−7pm consists of $ 4 well drinks, $ 1 specialty cocktails, $ 2PBR(on tap!), and $ 3 off selected draft beers. That’s a hell of a deal for 3 hours. Altogether, for a Moscow Mule, beer, glass of wine, and two shots of Jamey, my tab came out to $ 24. How can you beat that? Bartenders were super nice and friendly, and big screens played the Giants(pre-season) and local basketball games. There’s a pool table and what looks like beer pong tables. It’s a classic dive bar with a jukebox and lots of room to lounge and dance. I’m not really sure what everyone else is expecting.

Beginning to figure out this long bar is a great place for one cold pint after work and catching up on sports I missed during the day. It could advance to be one of those taverns of yesteryear where you pick up your Postal Service mail and your paycheck.

Cheap drinks. Free food(ribs on Sunday — not sure if this is a weekly/regular thing). Friendly bartender. Not packed. Sold.

The Four Deuces is a great place to come and hang out, especially if Amanda is bartending! She always makes us feel welcome, makes great drinks, and is very attentive to her guests.

Our favorite neighborhood bar. Great for watching football with a good crowd, ample bar seating and friendly bar staff.

We stumbled into this bar while waiting for the Korean place next door to open. As soon as I walked in, I immediately got a good feeling and vibe from this place. I noticed the big tv’s, dart boards, and pool table and was like, nice! The bartender(Tori?) was cool and made us some good drinks. At one point this guy came up to us and started talking to us about our drinks. It happened to be the owner, cool guy. Everybody was really friendly and nice there. After a couple of drinks on an empty stomach, it came time for us to break attention and go next door and eat. I live in downtown, girlfriend lives in the Mission, when we’re in the Sunset again, we’ll definitely go back.

I I hadn’t been to this bar in a long time, but it looks really nice after the renovations. The bar tenders are awesome, heather made me my drinks… they were wonderful. She’s the best! Great place to play some pool with a few good drinks!

Came here with the co-workers to watch the Monday Night Football game and the Star Wars trailer!!! Good night out for sure. Started out with brews and eventually turned to the mixed drinks later in the night. I like the beers on tap here. Good selections to choose from as well. I had considered getting the PBR that was on tap because they had the happy hour deals going but I moved on from it. I found the outside seating to be nice. It is fairly small but there is enough room to function. The sunset really made the time in the patio well worth the it. The place didn’t get too busy which made for ample room to walk around and feel free. There were also hotdogs!!! They were a nice touch to this place especially after having my brews!!! No one went over to the jukebox to turn on tunes but it was cool though. A few folks played at the pool table while some of the others played darts. Also, the have a charging station for you cellphone! Yes, that is what I am talking about! That is much appreciated. The evening was just a success. I will be back to get that Long Island Ice Tea that I wanted to order but never got around to doing!!! #deucesfolks

I could see why the place looked deserted. The bartender looked like he did not want to be there and had an attitude problem. He even carded me as soon as I approached him. I thought you have to order something to be carded? He made no eye contact with his patrons. I did not bother leaving him a tip. I just put cash on the table and walked out. The drink I ordered was watered down, and the ambience was uninviting. The rudeness of the staff alone merits a Bar Rescue. If the other reviews are true about drunk bartenders, then that’s a red flag. The $ 3 draft happy hour deal isn’t worth it. There are plenty of places that have such deals, and they are much better than this!

I dont drink anymore, but I came here in the day with some friends. Cocktail menu seemed slightly nicer than most dive bars. The bathroom was beautiful enough to inspire me to write a review to have a chance to mention it. Yeah :)

This is one of my regular places. The crowd varies from quiet locals, to college kids late at night, to a packed house when there’s a game on their four screens. The spirit is good, the bartenders are great, it’s clean and well-aired. Pool table and four dartboards are all set up for people who seriously like their games. And there’s a real piano, rigged as a player that can accompany some of the songs on the jukebox(Sinatra, etc.), but if you can play they’ll probably let you uncover and play it. The owner is variable, as some of the comments point out, but I’ve not had any problems with him myself.

I got kicked out for«freeloading». The owner accused me of hanging out at his bar and not buying anything, even though I was clearly drinking a cider as he was shouting at me. I kept telling him I was a paying customer but he wouldn’t listen and kept repeating«buy a drink or get out!» I wasn’t even causing any trouble and neither were my friends. I actually believe the owner was drunk and in a bad mood, and just randomly targeted us. I’m disappointed because I was enjoying the place up into that point. The patrons and the bartenders seemed nice. But I cannot say the same for the owner. Why would any business owner kick out behaving, paying customers?!

I really liked this place for the first 15 min. then i will say it was the owner pretty drunk asking for a donation of 10 bucks waving a bucket in your face. then proceeds to kick out my two friends claiming either to donate or leave. He later says, are you drinking? No, Then get out. 2 minutes later another person gets kicked out and he did have a beer. Im pretty sure he is a cool guy but not under the influence.

I’m here again, which means that I’ve put off doing laundry for a month and need to use the big machines across the street so it doesn’t take me the whole day to finish. Being a procrastinator does have its advantages. Like being able to drink a couple of beers and throw some darts wile doing chores. If I can do everything wile drunk and dart playing I would. Judge all you want, that’s how I live my life! This bar is pretty cool. It has become the go to dart bar in the sunset since Eagles Drift In Lounge(there is a difference) closed down late last year. They have 4 dart boards and usually there are a couple that are open. Dart regulars are usually hanging out here, so if you’re in the mood to throw a couple you’ll always find a challenger. So if you are ever looking to get schooled on your dart playing abilities, come here and get humble. The staff is always friendly, the drinks are always generous. Back door smoking patio is always a plus . Only reason I didn’t give five stars is because of the crowed. There are a lot of friendly people here, but most keep to themselves and doesn’t feel like your typical sunset pub culture. It also draws in a lot of college kids which can be annoying sometimes.

One of my locals, got all I want in a bar, darts, decent priced drinks, sports on tv and is clean. Barstaff and regulars are all sound and welcoming, just as most of the sunset bars I have been to check out since moving to the neighborhood.

Pool + darts + relatively cheap drinks = 5 stars. Not fancy but fun and great soundtrack(classic rock and hip hop from Queen to Coolio).

This is one of the better Irish bars that I’ve been to in the Sunset. Friendly vibes from the neighborhood locals and our bartender was a champ — pouring us some perfect martinis

Four Deuces is a clean, cavernous bar space, having also a back patio, pool tables, many flatscreens. pour: gin tonic(4) –heavy pour, loved it for a lunch drink. 10ish micros also available, avoiding for health reasons. on draught: –slight sports bar feel with sport team signs all over –black & white retro pics of sutro and the beach-interesting. –3.5 stars for being open early in the afternoon.
