The Kooples

Having seen the Kooples stores abroad (and the couples campaign which I love) I was really excited when they finally decided to open up shop here a year or so ago, not long after Sandro opened up down the street.
Although the store is split into two sides by gender most seemed quite interchangeable. I really loved a moto leather jacket from the men’s section but the sleeves were too long and unfortunately this cannot be easily altered. I’ve found the sales sections to be pretty good, most priced with a heavy discount.
The husband has been looking for a slim cut (three piece) suit for awhile. He’s searched high and low but he wasn’t able to find one that ticked all the boxes that had his ideal fabric weight, the navy shade to his liking and something that fit close to his build. He is also very particular about the fit of his trousers. We decided to see what Kooples had to offer and was happy to have found one that felt/​looked fairly premium without the extremely high premium price point.
Friendly, helpful staff to boot. I can’t think of anything negative about their store.

French fashion, British tailoring with American punk rock soul. Michael and Kate were fantastically helpful. My mom and I wandered in here while killing time in SF and of course I find a pair of python shoes I can’t live without. Shut up and take (all my) money. A+++
