I really can’t speak to the tool repair, but they make the best keys! We’ve all had keys that in some cases that out don’t work and others you need to jiggle a lot, not from here though. They make them for less than anywhere else and it’s worth the trip across town to know that it will only take one trip! If they repair tools as well as they make keys, you’ll be very happy with their work!

A great place to get your used tools fixed. Had a old chainsaw that kept coming loose. They shorten the chain and the problem was gone. There was also a cheap place to make key copies compared to the other guys who wanted $ 5 for the same key.

What a treasure this place is! It reminds me of walking into my grandpa’s old workshop — old tools and supplies fill every inch of space, and spill onto the floor and almost out the door. It’s crowded and cluttered inside, and would be right at home in an alleyway in Chinatown. I like the human touch in these kinds of places — everything is done by hand, and what appears to be a huge pile of junk to an untrained eye is carefully inventoried inside the mind of the dedicated owner. I just think it’s cool that places like this still exist. Plus, they do great work that no one else in the city can do – that’s why everyone drives out to their location in the outer sunset!

Fix my drill spindle, $ 20, 7 inch used grinder$ 50, bad mother of a toolsmith right here in the neighbor hood who can fix or advise you about any powertool, generator, compressor, and then some? Priceless. replace the shroud on a milwaukee band saw $ 80…place is a blessing to any serious tradesman who has serious needs to regular joe just getting a key copied right here(he does that too). I refer all my other Mobile Locksmith friends in the city here to fix their tools when needed.

Great guy I went in there looking for a soldering tool. He didn’t have any but directed me to where I can find one and also gave me a few tips on brands

great place to bring power tools for repair. half the price of competitors and somehow manages not to loose your tools in the chaos of the shop… as a contractor i have used several other repair shops and none beat LBC… you can save a bunch of cash by dropping off power tools for new switches, triggers etc.
