a BEAUTIFUL monday! Ashley made the night – her drinks, the music! 90’s music & martinis for the win. It was a great time. loving the ambience as well. we will be back – soon!
What an amazing place! The pizza was really delicious, I felt like it’s a really Italian home made pizza. The staff was very nice and quick, especially bartender Amanda, who has a perfect understanding what are customers needs and always pays attention to even the smallest details! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who’s fancy for a great service and really delicious pizza :)

Its back! And their cocktail game is strong as ever. The prices seem a bit steeper however — but as i said before — makes sense in the context of current SF economic climate. On my last trip i tried the KC Manhattan and it was a winner. If you can appreciate a perfect Manhattan you wont be disappointed with ORs KCM.

re-opening night. looks, sounds, and feels like the old Orbit. upgrade = they take cards now. they also got rid of the weird cone table bases. but the drink menu is short and not quite the same as menus past. we shall see if they can keep her open this time around. hope so. it’s always been my favorite neighborhood bar(minus weekend nights), and i don’t even live in the neighborhood.

Great job to the new owners who nailed it. They did’t change at thing. Kept the décor, style, and they were hand throwing pizzas for $ 18, and excellent. All the way around. Glad to have you back in the hood.

One of the best cocktail bars in San Francisco, real artisan work. Just don’t rush them!

Terrible service. Randomly ended up at this bar with my husband for a drink. The bartender didn’t even acknowledge us when we sat at the bar and waited while he finished making drinks and still didn’t even check on us after to see what we wanted. another bar tender checked on the couple beside us to see if they were ok for drinks and they still had full drinks in front of them and still didn’t ask us if we needed any drinks. Will never return here. They need a serious check up on there customer service.

This is probably still our favorite bar in the city. Our best friends live in the Castro and they introduced us to Orbit Room years ago. We stop in regularly ever since. If you like well-made craft cocktails this is the place for you. Couple things to note is that it can get crowded on weekends especially so drinks will take time, and they are cash-only. Love the Bourbon & Basil — probably their signature cocktail, though it does seem that it has changed a bit over the years. Still delicious and plenty of other cocktails to choose from.

Stopped in for a quick drink before a show. I think they are currently not selling food, which is unfortunate. That would have made our experience. Only had 1 bartender, and the wait for a beer(what I was drinking) was obnoxiously long as she was taking 3 – 4 minutes for cocktail she was making.

Good cocktails, but the bartender was completely unwelcoming and surly. He just does not get what being in the service industry is about. I have never written a Unilocal review but this could not go unnoticed.

LOVE! I did not know quite what to expect when I was meeting someone at Orbit Room but it was absolutely the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink. The cocktails are freshly made, the place has a cool open environment but is not too large to feel empty or overwhelming. It’s also not too loud so great for conversation. The location is nice too because you can go to dinner in the Mission, Hayes Valley, Haight or Duboce after. I had the Pimm’s Cup but would like to try some of their other drinks. Cash only!

This place used to be so much better when it had different owners and a pizza oven! I miss the good ol days!

Best cocktails ever. So good and so meticulously hand-crafted that you might wait 10 – 20 minutes. Chill out, guy, it’s going to be the best cocktail you’ve ever had. If you’re just out to get drunk, go to the Mission.

My favorite bar in the city is back. Orbit Room has definitely turned itself around since the management shakeup that happened a few months ago. The wonderful, unique cocktail menu has been updated for spring and the bar’s interior returned to its original state. I look forward to coming back regularly for many years to come.

I’ve had two semi-disastrous dates that began or ended at the Orbit Room. It wasn’t the site’s fault — I actually think they have a very cool, lounge vibe and the drinks are tasty if a little expensive($ 10, cash only). And now I have two slightly hilarious memories. I’ll have to take my future wife there for the laughs — whoever she is… on second thought, just to be safe, maybe not.

Cool looking bar, but not conducive to getting your drinks quickly even when sort of empty. My Pimms Cup was ok though. I’d like to try the pizza at some point.

This place takes bartending very seriously and the center round bar gives you a great spot to watch. Top ingredients and house-prepared flavors. Nice extra touches and flare. If you want something na, the house-made ginger ale is superb with freshly juiced ginger.

I love the Orbit Room! This has become our new favorite bar for my coworkers and me. It’s sort of hidden away and not that noticeable unless you are looking for it(despite it being directly on Market street). The drinks are awesome(although pretty complicated so it takes a long time for your drink to be made). Also it’s cash only so make sure you stop by the ATM(although there is one in the back). Highly recommend the Basil Rathbone or the Briar Rose as my go-to drinks at the Orbit Room. The menu changes seasonally so sometimes the drinks aren’t the same(sadface) but gives you a good chance to try something new every time you come. They also have thin crust pizza that you can order from the other counter if you want some food, but the pizza isn’t that great and sometimes the pizza gets burnt so the whole place gets a bit smokey. Fridays/Saturdays are the busiest nights so it may be hard to find a seat so make sure you come early. Great for groups but it does get crowded. It’s also nearby the Taco Bell/KFC if you want some really crappy fast food afterwards(but it closes at 11PM!) Highly recommend!

$ 15 for a 12″-inch wild mushroom pizza that was tasty but had very little in the way of mushrooms either wild or domesticated, and $ 8 for a yummy mint hill punch, which was basically a more savory, vegetal version of a mojito with rosemary and celery juice. Cute bartender. :D Vibe is way too gentrified and hipster-y for me to want to come here often but if you’re in the area it’s a nice spot to grab some interesting premium drinks with a definite fresh vegetable theme and some pizza to snack on on a slower weeknight. However, I would avoid it like the plague during the weekend.
