Ugh, how did a 5star haircut go down to 2 stars?
I had a really bad haircut here recently. I think it was a misunderstanding so I hate to review this place but I have to. I feel it’s important because something tells me that there must be a miscommunication between the hairstylist and myself. My previous review raved about my hair dye job and hair cut. However, I recently went back with a picture of a haircut that i would love to have. This haircut was simple. My hair length was close to my hips, it was getting too long for me. However, I still wanted it to be long just not super long. I hate short hair (on myself) & since he was the last person to touch my hair I thought that we had the same understanding. I just wanted to trim and maintain my curly layers plus put sideswept bangs. After a short talk, I let him handle it.
A little while later, My hair was too short for my taste, NOT what I expected. He must have cut at least 4 inches off. & he did NOT give me the right bangs. The length was all off. He cut them waaaay too short. I have curly hair, it would not have looked right. I was so shocked. I didn’t complain, I suggested he help me style it so it looks decent. Well he did but it looked waay too old school for me. I didn’t feel like myself. I paid, tipped and left because I obviously couldn’t ask for my hair back.
Unfortunately, I went home crying. Now, I have to wear my hair clipped back until it grows out decent enough to wear down. It sucks. I really didn’t understand why the misunderstanding. The bangs are so choppy and short and awkward. Sadly to say, I will not return here. But, because I’m confident, I’ll still work the hell outta my hair til it grows back to my long luscious curls. Long hair don’t care!
