Great price, service, and bar! I love the Hurricane! Super yummy and strong! Would definitely come back soon.

I honestly can’t wait to go back here. We strolled in on Sunday night after dinner with some friends and while the bar was somewhat empty, we still loved the décor and the service. I asked them if they could go «light» with my drink and sure enough, after recommending the Lava Flow, I was immensely pleased. Others in our party mentioned that the drinks were a tad bit on the sweeter side so you might want to be aware of that if that isn’t your thing.

Visited on a recent Saturday night, and was happy with the service and vibe. Not what I expected in this part of the Sunset, but am glad this place livens up an otherwise boring stretch of Noriega. I was feeling ‘tropical’ so naturally I had a piña colada. Aside from the excessive sugar this drink would take on my body(and my fit goals), I enjoyed it. My drinking friends also enjoyed their adult beverages. Prices were wallet friendly. Our bartender/server was especially helpful even though I could tell he was busy taking care of other tiki patrons — so props to him. Well done Tiki Haven, I’ll return.

You know you’re an alcoholic I mean Unilocal elite when you know tiki havens weekly specials and always take a weekly snap chat of yourself under the tiki haven with clouds surrounding you! Anyways, I love love love tiki havens weekly special and love seeing many sf college friends over there! It’s a great welcoming place to meet up with people and it doesn’t break the bank! Also I love that they have fun games like Jenga to keep your drunk buzz going. I also don’t recommend putting a tiki bowl on the table while you are playing Jenga. My drunk self did that the last time and all our jenga pieces fell into the bowl And some caught on fire!!! But speaking of tiki bowl, they have a good deal on Wednesday nights and the tiki bowls are pretty cheap to share! I usually love getting a good two for the night and I’m set and hung over the next morning! Jk but they are creepers!!! Come check out tiki haven and you won’t regret it!!!

Came here after dinner with friends and was looking forward to their Fire Bowl. I was pleasantly surprised at their drinks. Definitely brought me back to Hawaii. I’m that girl that likes her sweet alcohol drinks. That night i felt like Goldilocks. I tried out their Lava Flow(super sweet, couldn’t taste the alcohol) Shark Bite(tasted too strong, not enough sweetness for my taste) and ended the night with their Kokomo.(My fav!) All their drinks came out in cute Tiki inspired glasses. The shots were heavily poured, the bartenders were sweet and attentive(gave us a free round of shots!) and the vibe of the place was super chill. My kinda place!

I came here on my birthday with my boyfriend around 5 after already drinking all day since 8 in the morning. We ordered one of the bowls meant for 2 – 4 people, couple beers, hornito shots &2 mixed drinks. The shots here were huge & the cocktails tasted delicious & you could actually taste the alcohol in them– unlike some places where it’s more sweet than anything else. I forgot the name of our bartender, but he was great! Hooked it up with a birthday shot & definitely easy to talk to. He even gave us a bunch of recommendations on places to eat & you know your girl loves her food so this made me happy. Got hungry between drinks & he was cool with us grabbing food and bringing it back into the bar to eat. I’ll be back!

I mean it is hard to expect much from a bar in the Sunset, but overall not bad. We tried the huge tiki bowl that was on fire. It looks cool, but tastes way to sweet for my taste. The place has a cool tiki bar feel, but was rather dead on a Saturday evening(maybe it got more popping later in the night). Maybe I would come back if I am too lazy to head downtown for a drink. The bowls are not expensive though, and are good for ~3 people. If you like sweet-slushie alcohol, this can be your spot.

Drinks was ok, nothing to crazy. Ordered fire ball Piña colada it was cool Because of the fire in the middle but the drink itself it’s a bit bland. Maybe next time I’ll try the peach someone told me peach is better.

Yay for Tiki bar in the sunset! They sell a lot of tiki tropical drinks *careful! The alcohol hides behind the sugary good stuff. Also quite a collection of beers and regular shots. My favorite though, is their fire bowl, it’s a slushy and spiked tropical mix in a bowl. You can share this with 3 – 4 other people. And they light the bowl in a little fire! The ambience is casual, hip hop music, and there are a lot of seatings! So definitely a good place to go with a group of 5 – 6. They also stream sport games! So this bar is literally all kinds of bar just not tiki. Cheers!

I came here with my friend and we got the strawberry tiki fire bowl. This place is pretty small so we had to wait a bit to find seating for two at one of their tables. It tastes pretty good, too good for you to believe that there’s alcohol inside, which gets you! This didn’t hit us while we were there but it definitely creeped up on us later lol. They have a deck of cards and maybe other games too, I forgot. But it’s a good place to catch up with a friend or just hang out, as long as your group isn’t too big. I’m not sure if I would make the trip to come again, since there are other tiki drink places in the Bay Area, but if I’m in that area, I would come back to get another tiki bowl!

This isn’t your«lovingly crafted from fresh fruit» kind of tiki joint, but it’s near the beach, and they’ve got a dive-y panache. I’d definitely go back.

I know why it’s called an Aloha Motherfucker now. Cuz aloha means both hello and goodbye. The first sip is like«BAM! HELLO! Welcome to the delicious but dangerous world of tiki drinks!!» And if you’re lucky enough to make it all the way down to the last sip from that awesome tiki cup, it’s like«Goodbye. And good luck.» The bartender, John, is the tiki master. He’s super friendly, knows how to take care of everyone, and makes the most delicious tiki drinks! The first thing he did after we sat down was provide us with a glass of some extra of a drink he had just made. I had a sip and I knew good things were coming! On his recommendation, I ordered the Bora Bora and I loved it. I loved it so much that I was almost finished with it when he filled it back up again. So nice I had to drink it twice! It was a Sunday night but packed with big groups of people having a good time. The bar closes at 2 and everyone stayed to close it out. That alone says a lot about this place. So if you’re looking for good drinks, delightful décor, and an all-around fun experience — come here. Also, they have a vending machine for your munchies :)

You will never find a more wretched dive of a hive of Senior Citizens and Asian 20 somethings listening to really bad hop hop. We must be cautious. Why are the cocktails so good :)

Happy hours are good and love their Fire bowl! Bartenders are all great. they only serve drinks but has a vending machine for snacks. We usually buy food next door at the Crew and bring it over!

This bar is so cute and all islandy themed! I came here with my family for drinks before dinner and they were so good. I don’t remember the names but I’ll post the picture because the glass was so cool. The bartender was super friendly and nice. She was really attentive and wanted to be sure everyone was enjoying themselves and their drinks. I would definitely come back here with friends because the full bar has something for everyone. Including lightweights who love fruity drinks like myself! I

Decent place! I came here once and it was great. This neighborhood dive bar is located in Outer Sunset area. Place is small but cozy. The décor is very tropical and colorful. The scene is pretty hopping considering the area. They have games on the upper level and a lot of TVs downstairs. The crowd is definitely a mixed one. Good place to sit and catch up. The bartenders are nice and friendly. They have some fun specialty drinks. Drinks are reasonably priced. I liked the signature Fire Bowl served in a large volcano Tiki bowl, enough for 2 – 4 people. Most of the drinks were tasty and strong. If I were a pirate, I would much prefer Tiki Haven – girly though it may sound – to the touristy and gentrified Smugger’s Cove by Downtown. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood close by a few restaurants and Asian dessert cafes in the Outer Sunset, it’s very divey(complete with board games! Even better and divier, Connect Four and Jenga with missing pieces!) Somehow they manage to pull off a divey feel and thorough tiki theme without coming off as tacky – all the furniture with the totem faces are none but endearing, and with straw and bamboo everywhere, there is nothing awkward and out-of-place(except maybe for the TV’s, but they serve a legit purpose). They have good specials each day of the week! Since we came on a Wednesday and are on grad student budgets, we got the fire bowl and chose the piña colada flavor. Although the flame wasn’t as impressively flashy as those at Smuggler’s Cove(meh… that’s for tourists and people with an objective of getting likes on Instagram/Vine videos rather than the actual bar experience), I think it tasted better: Smuggler’s Cove just tastes like straight up Jamba Juice, while at Tiki Haven is alcoholic Jamba Juice.

Cute little dive bar. Sounds weird to describe a dive bar as such, but that’s kind what this place is. Tiki Haven sits in kind of a random spot. Wouldn’t expect a bar here at all on the same block as a boba shop and a Hong Kong style dessert place, but hey that’s where it is. Kind of a quiet Saturday night when I dropped by here, and it definitely had a local feel to it. Bartenders knew the patrons and vice versa. Felt like I was the only random in the place. Not that I got terrible service or anything though. Bartenders were pretty cool! Drinks are your standard tiki bar fare. They’ve got all the classics like Mai Tai’s and Pina Coladas, but they also have a bunch of specials. The one my friend got was kind of like an alcoholic Jamba Juice drank. A little too sweet for my tastes but oh wells. They’ve got some pretty cool nightly specials! I like the Friday night everyone gets lei’d one. Don’t know when I’ll ever be back in the area, but it’s nice knowing Tiki Haven is a pretty solid option to have!

Super cute little bar, a lot of parking out in front & the 28 bus is only a couple blocks away. It’s pretty small inside but all the decorations are really cute lol. My friends and I came in here randomly one day cause we wanted to grab a drink, ended up getting the special for the night, Pina Colada LOL. Don’t be fooled, my friend and I got pretty buzzed off just one, and we also decided to take a shot. The bartender was super friendly, but the downer was that in order to pay with card, you need to have a certain limit, not quite sure if its $ 10 or $ 20, but besides that its pretty fun inside Definitely a cool spot to just hang out and catch up with some friends!

I’ve had this bookmarked for awhile(totally forgot about it) and I stopped by here because my cousin recommended it for my friend & I on a Friday night. So many years ago I was all over the fruity sweet as hell drinks. you know… strawberry daquiris, B&J wine coolers, Chevy’s fruity margaritas. While, I still don’t like pretty strong alcoholic drinks these sweet drinks just don’t agree with me as much anymore. I got a mango banana colada and my friend got a piña colada(both $ 8). Mine was a little heavier on the alcohol than hers, but she asked for a little more rum & got it. Nice fruity flavor, but really sweet still. Tiki Bar has a large enough cocktail menu, standard prices, friendly bartenders, cute décor and a chill crowd. Boys & girls… on Fridays you get leid here! Will try to come back sometime for happy hour.
