I appreciate their ease of ordering on various websites, but there is absolutely no flavor in this food! We had their lamb korma and channa masala; two of my most favorite indian dishes. The korma looked like it was dyed artificially with some sort of yellow and had absolutely no spice at all! the channa masala was more edible, but equally disappointing. The naan was fluffy and seemed recently reheated or cooked, but again, lacked flavor. Definitely not authentic, but edible cuisine. If you like bland food, this is your goto spot for sure!

Food is EXCELLENT, this was the restaurant that introduced me to Indian Food it’s been 5 or 6 years and this spot is still my favorite! The owner is a real nice guy as well. Only thing is the Indian guy with glasses was kind of rude last time but still don’t affect my 5 star rating. Chicken tikka masala hands down the best on the menu

We found this place by chance while visiting San Fran. We had two kids with us and the waiter was very kind making sure the items we ordered for them were not spicy. The food was cooked fresh and was excellent. The food was priced low and tasted superb.

Very good mushroom korma and palak paneer. Spacious restaurant and not busy on a Saturday evening. Good service. We enjoyed the respite from the busyness outside and a chance to talk without being hurried.

I ordered delivery from Urban Curry and it came 30 minutes faster than I had expected. Good job! Service means everything. I ordered the Chicken Curry and Samosas. The chicken was massive. It was a bit on the dry side, but the curry definitely helped to «even it out.» I would highly recommend the Samosas and Garlic Naan. Eating just curry can get boring, so you need things to dip into it as well. I’m definitely going to order from here again.

I’m not sharing the love for this joint, which was the venue of choice for a casual luncheon with co-workers today(and often is on other days). The all-you-can-eat offerings looked less-than-fresh, and were so-so in taste. I ate cautiously and sparingly so as not to risk re-encountering lunch later, during my scheduled 6-mile run. One co-worker discovered a fruit fly on her food(in January!), thus killing her(and my) appetite. And at $ 14.99 for the buffet, it is offensively pricey. I’ll pass on the invite next time.

And as I said last time, I would order again. So I did. Ordered the Vegetarian Chowmein. And though spicy, it was awesome. I had a bad cold, and this was yummy, helped unblock my sinus the Chowmein was very reminiscent of what I would eat in India. Indo-Chinese. And I would order again!!! I also ordered some roti, mushroom korma and chicken soup. They were good too although I would wish the soup was more brothy and less starchy.

Since moving back to the neighborhood I decided to give Urban curry a chance, and I was very pleased. I haven’t yet tried their lunch buffet, but I’ve had a few things on the menu and everything was delicious. When you tell them very spicy, they actually do it! Every time I went to pick up my to-go orders the staff has been exceptionally friendly and helpful. They allow me to sit at a table and have a drink of water or chai while waiting for my food. I’m very happy I’ve moved so close to this restaurant.

We had a male server at first. He was darling! We ordered the chicken tikka masala and another chicken dish that was spicy. The both sauces were super tasty! We also ordered plain rice and garlic naan bread. The rice was a bit too dry and the bread was delicious. My favorites overall was definitely the chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan bread. When we were done eating we were thinking about dessert but a female waiter brought the check without asking us if we wanted anything else. That was the only negative thing about this experience. Other than that, loved it!

Am ok restaurant, the service was pretty bad, the chai tee was free but they had none, the food was not the best Indian I had, it really didn’t have any flavor and Indian food has lots of great tasty flavors.

Ordered for delivery via eat24 and the wait time suggested it would take between 45 – 60 mins which was fine for me. They ended up delivering in 35 mins. Service has never been a part of my rating, but I just wanted to note it in my review since there are many bad reviews about their delivery service. I did order this with a hungry stomach at 11:40a. I ordered chicken vindaloo(extra hot), navrattan korma(extra hot), roti, and a side of rice. The vindaloo had dencent sized pieces of chicken and they were tender. The spice was on point. Usually, I put medium and it comes out mild for me. I also have a higher tolerance for spice than my peers. Also, I lived in India for 6 months and knew what spice was. Lol the vindaloo met my expectations. It wasn’t the absolute best I’ve had, but good. The korma was a bit too sweet for my taste. There were decent sized veggies, but I wish there was more. Instead of one giant piece of paneer, cauliflower, and potato, I wish they had cut them up a little smaller and given me more veggies. Another reason I am giving 4 stars is because their roti was OK. It was dry and lacking the fat homemade rotis are made with. Overall, a good place to order lunch from. The food is good. They really give you the spice, if you’re looking for it.

Fast delivery and delicious! Samosas were huge! 2 is more than enough for 4 – 6 people. The chicken tikka masala is buttery and super spicy(just the way I like it), goat karahi was tendered and not as gamey as I thought it would be and prawn vindaloo was good but not as good as the goat karahi. Get extra garlic naan! They even called me to confirm my order.

I am giving a 3 star cause some of their dishes were good but lacked ambience and neatness. We ordered mixed Fried rice with lassi which was awesome. very fresh and lassi was not overloaded with sugar. garlic Naan was awesome too. oh and they have awesome chai Their house speciality was little disappointing but it’s a nice place in the Heart of downtown.

Tried the chicken karahi, garlic naan, rice, Mango lassi. Meh overall. Asked for medium spicy — was just«spicy hot» without any flavour. Questionable hygiene too. Will skip next time.

Being not a huge fan of the Indian/Nepalese food, the food here was delicious. We ordered chicken momo(Indian potstickers), tikka masala, goat biriyani and garlic naan. Yum!!! The service was great too. Our waiter was attentive and informative but not overbearing.
