Samson is the friendliest and most informative owner/bartender I’ve ever met. The beer selection is thoughtful, eclectic, and reasonably priced. Samson is talkative but not domineering, which means that he leaves you alone if that’s what you want. When asked, he explained why he liked each craft beer, described how they were made, and answered all of my many questions. With my beer snob buddy, Samson held his own discussing bitterness units, yeast types, etc. One really nice touch: Samson saw me texting away and without a word handed me a lightning adapter to charge my iPhone.

Having frequented the Noc Noc in the Lower Haight, I was excited to learn that they’d opened a sister bar in North Beach. The new location has a similar laid back vibe, extensive selection of craft beers(draft and bottled), and Samson from the original Noc Noc was behind the bar! Since they recently opened, I’m looking forward to seeing the improvements they make over the coming months, but the recipe for success is already in place. Definitely one of my go to spots with the Farmer’s Reserve Blueberry Sour on tap from Almanac!

Crushing the SF craft beer game! Walking by the bar it sounded fun inside, came in and stayed all night. Laid back vibes and really cool art. I plan to bring my friends back soon!

The best bar on Broadway if you’re looking for good beer and even better people. This is one of my favorite secret spots in North Beach. Craft beer, beautiful art work and the friendliest faces. Ask for Samson – he’ll take care of you! Oh, and they serve sake! My sanctuary from the strip clubs!!! You have to check this place out.

If you like sour and barrel-aged beer this is your place. Just had a local Ale industries pineapple lacto sour and an Almanac Wakatu sour. Dress like a pirate and you get the secret sour menu.

Funny, I live in Lower Haight but I think I’ve been to the North Beach location more than my own. This is a nice addition to Broadway, where most of the bars are either dives, over-priced, or strip clubs. Noc Noc has a good selection of beers, and even a little table outside where you can people watch. The only thing that seemed off was the amount of empty space in the back of the bar. Seems like they needed more seating or some kind of furniture to fill it up a bit. But perhaps that’s a still a work in progress, as they haven’t been open too long yet.

I came across this bar randomly and the staff was super nice but the best part is the beer list is really good. Don’t miss it!

Noc Noc is a work in progress. They’re doing their best to bring the experience of the original Noc Noc on Haight Street to North Beach. They have some great beers on tap, and some cool art is going in, but they’ve just started and it will get better as time goes by. I live in the Lower Haight and it’s been interesting to watch the old Noc Noc evolve. I am excited to see the next generation branching out. Definitely worth a visit.

Great IPA specials and better selections. The art work is funky and matches the personality of the bar. The bartenders were extremely accommodating and went the extra effort to make the experience an enjoyable one. Highly recommend.

Awesome new craft beer bar! Much needed in this neighborhood. Make sure to try the adult root beer!
