Took my grandmother there for a second opinion from out of town. Parking is expensive but the nurses and doctors don’t seem to care. My grandma was in a gown for 2 hrs for a 5 minute consultation. I hope not all doctors are this inconsiderate. We went to the clinic on post street where there is no parking. The clinic can validate but won’t unless we raise hell, according to someone I spoke to in the elevator.

I thank God for Dr. Varma! She is the chief of colorectal surgery at UCSF and I went to her for a 2nd opinion. Thank God I did. I could have taken a much different path. She was not impressed with the unclear tests I brought from another hospital and performed another one on me the day of my appointment.
Dr. Varma recommended a minimally invasive surgery and squeezed me in the following week. Thanks to her, I am back to great health and spirits!
