I rarely write reviews, but for Agnes at Wagmakers I have to make an exception. We adopted our rescue (Golly) in October, and she was tremendously shy and fearful for the first few weeks with people. Agnes quickly won her over and gave us almost daily updates about how she was doing and what training she was working on with her.
She also regularly posts photos on Instagram so we can see what adventures Golly has been on and who her friends are, it’s really nice to see her having fun. Agnes has boarded her twice now and clearly takes wonderful care of her– we come home and Golly is happy, tired from big adventures, and anxiety free. My wife and I highly recommend her!

Agnes has a passion for taking great care of her animal clients! She’s warm and friendly, responsible and professional, and she genuinely cares about the animals with whom she works. I have happily recommended her to several friends for pet walking and sitting.

Agnes is the absolute best! We have been using Wagmakers for about 2 months now and are so happy to have her help! We have a Mini Goldendoodle who is a little over a year old and Agnes takes such great care of him! During the week, she takes Hugo out for 2 – 3 hours and tires him out! By the time I get home from work, he is completely exhausted and has no interest in going to the park which is a rarity for him! About a week ago, after a long day of play, Hugo managed to get a foxtail in his ear canal. She called us immediately and even offered to take him to the vet for us! She is extremely caring and professional!

We had the pleasure of working with Agnes when we hired her on to walk our newly fostered rescue dog, Silas. Agnes was professional and warm right out of the gate. During our initial meeting, Agnes walked through her agreements, was very reasonable and flexible, and most importantly, really great with our dog. Our rescue had some issues he was working through and Agnes was happy to help work with us (and our trainer) to do whatever was needed. I highly recommend Agnes as your pet’s walker/​watcher.

Agnes was a life-​saver when I had knee surgery on very short notice. We have a somewhat complicated situation with one dog full-​time and another dog that is here somewhat randomly about half the time. Agnes was great with our variable/​flexible dog-​count and both dogs absolutely loved her! We were worried about one of them having leash-​aggression, but Agnes was confident with the situation and everything worked out great!

For me, the most important attributes of a pet-​sitter/​dog-​walker are trustworthiness, reliability, and professionalism. Agnes, in her business as Wagmakers, embodies all three of these, and I heartily recommend her.
Whether I’m sending my dog Buddy off with Agnes on a dog walk for an afternoon or I’m handing over Buddy, my cat Wally, and my apartment to her for a couple weeks while I’m on vacation, I do trust her. I find that she’s reliable and a knowledgeable professional, and her observations about my pets seem spot on. Equally as important, Buddy and Wally seem to really like her!
Agnes also went the extra mile for me, because Buddy has some separation anxiety. This isn’t a small additional factor in taking on a pet-​sitting gig, and I appreciate that Agnes stepped up and not only accepted the responsibility but also seemed to excel in it.

I totally trusted Agnes with my newest adoption Tahoe. I adopted Tahoe at the end of June from the Tahoe shelter. As a certified dog trainer and dog walker myself, I know the importance of exposing my newest member to different experiences, with different people and getting enough exercise.
I walked and worked with Agnes, and she does a great job at managing her dog groups and keeping a calm fun experience for the dogs.
After only having my new dog for only a couple months, I was confident she would keep him safe. Tahoe came home happy and tired. I would have her my dog anytime!

I’ve actually known Agnes for years, long before she started her own company. Because of that, I feel comfortable giving her a resounding endorsement! Don’t get put off by the fact that this is a brand new business — Agnes has SO much experience working with dogs and cats. She’s not just someone who «loves animals» and thinks that being a walker would be «so much fun.» She takes this job seriously! For example, she’s consulted with me (a professional dog trainer) and other dog walkers about details like which car to buy for the dog groups, how to set it up so that the dogs are safe and comfortable, and which equipment to use to handle them.
It’s so important to have someone experienced and knowledgeable because you often just don’t know what you’ll get and what will happen when you’re out of sight. I’ve seen and heard of some unpleasant incidents with novice dogwalkers/​petsitters. You just don’t want to go there.
But of course, it doesn’t just matter what I think. How do my own dogs and cat feel about Agnes? Well the cat always goes trotting over and meows at her for attention, and she can get him drooling with pleasure (and she doesn’t complain about the drool). My dogs have always loved Agnes and it’s hard for them to remember not to jump on her when they see her! All three of my dogs have been out on walks and off leash hikes with her. I know that she will take very good care of them, so I can actually relax and enjoy the break from pet responsibilities while they’re gone. (This says a lot — I’m a «helicopter parent.»)
What more can I say? Anyone who chooses Agnes for their pet care is very lucky to have such an awesome caretaker for their furkids.

We were sad to hear of Agnes’ departure from the ADAC but wish her well in this new venture. She was your walker for 2 years and Judd was always so happy to see her. We always knew that he was in good hands with her. He was always cleaned off when he returned and exhausted! A sure sign that he had a good time.
She also communicated well with us when there were any issues.
