I love this garage. I’m one of the cars featured on their Unilocal page (red Lotus) and am happy to be there. They have everything I want: they are very honest, they don’t charge too much, they care a or cars and their work, and they know what they’re doing. This is the only place I take my Lotus any more. Even when I’m having work done that they don’t do (fixing my custom stereo) I take it here and let them subcontract it out, because I know they’ll find the best people. (And they did!) I recommend this place to my friends. I recommend it to you.

I say once you find a great auto body shop — stick with it. They are few and far between. When it comes to West Wind there is ZERO competition. These guys are the BEST. My car was recently hit by a UPS driver — and what seemed like it was going to be a huge headache instead worked out seamlessly — thanks to the team at West Wind. Shannon, Chris and Nissim were incredible to work with. They explained in detail what was going to be done, handled the insurance gal and got the rental car pick-​up and drop-​off arranged so all I had to do was bring my car to their shop — the rest was handled. And my car was done 2 days ahead of schedule. I am grateful for their efficient, kind, professional service. These guys ROCK.

This guys are great, and I will come to them for all of my (hopefully few) body shop needs. They were very nice, helpful, answered all my questions cheerfully, came in on time and under budget, and even touched up some spots elsewhere on the car for free. These guys rock!

I really can’t even begin where to start with the fabulous staff here at West Wind. I’ve been coming here since April and they are just so wonderful. I had my passenger door redone after some dents and scratches, my convertible top replaced (AND THEY WASHED MY CAR FOR ME), and had my fluid washer tank replaced.
Shannon along with the rest of the staff are so kind and really help make car repairs pleasant!
I would recommend them to any of my friends and fellow Unilocalers.
They even taught me how to replace my headlight bulb so I don’t have to bring it to the shop each time.

The team at west wind were so attentive, informative and accommodating! They are fantastic at what they do and even went above and beyond with my rental car and helping to change a lightbulb that was out. They rule.

The team at West Wind Automotive provided a comfortable and excellent customer experience. I made an appointment to drop my car off on a Saturday along with my insurance estimate. Chris explained the repair process in detail. Shannon noted that my car would repaired by Thursday evening. Throughout the week Shannon and I were in communication regarding the repairs. I felt reassured knowing that the auto repair professionals at West Wind were able to address all of my questions, concerns, and repair expectations. :)
My vehicle was ready on Thursday, however upon arriving I noticed a few minor imperfections. Not a problem. The West Wind team immediately addressed these issues on Friday. Arrived Saturday morning and reviewed the repairs with Chris. Picked up my Toyota and drove off feeling safe that the team at West Wind Automotive took care of my car.

I have a dogwalking business, and Shannon helps me find just the right rental agency, to rent a similar SUV while my car is being worked on. Very helpful.
They do great work and their prices are very fare. I love my Magnum and am very thankful I can trust Westwind to consistently do excellent work. My father painted cars, professionally for years, and he knows good work. I always get his approval!
Also, they finish the job when they say they will, and don’t keep it longer than they estimate. That really helps!

This place is amazing! i highly recommend them.
So a few months back, while I was driving in a parking lot, a cement pillar jumped out and hit the back of my car. I know, rude! So quite a bit of damage. I saw the great reviews for West Wind so I decided to bring my car here. They completely lived up to expectations!
They were very communicative throughout the process. I knew exactly what was going on with my car, and when I would be getting it back. The work product was stellar. And when I heard a rattling noise, they immediately addressed it.
Fastforward to last week — I bring my car back for some fender buffing out issues (ok, maybe I tapped into another car), and they helped fix it on the spot.
These guys don’t nickel and dime you, and they do a great job! They are all about making sure the customer is happy.
I’ll definitely be back! You never know when those cement pillars are going to jump out and get you…

I ran over a curb and the rocker panel cover below my right rear door was knocked out of alignment — obviously something that was totally my fault. When I took the car in for an estimate Chris Park said that the part would cost about $ 98 and the labor to install it would bring the total to $ 140, but he thought with just a little work he could pop it back into place. So for $ 34 and 20 minutes of my time I wound up getting it back into alignment and you can’t even tell I messed it up. It’s not often that you get a break like this at a body shop!
I’ve actually had three different cars repaired at West Wind over the past 10 years and they have always dealt fairly with me whether it is an insurance claim or one where i need to pay for the repairs myself.

The stress of having my poor sweet MINI Cooper rear ended by some asshat with no insurance instantly melted away when I called West Wind. I had an estimate from my insurance company, who referred me to another repair shop that never called me back. Shannon at West Wind had me email over the estimate, then called back right away. She handled everything with the insurance, ordered the parts even before I brought the car in, and was super communicative about the work being done and when it would be ready.
When my son and I went to pick it up, a shiny sparkling new-​looking MINI had emerged from the wreckage. Next time the car behinds me sees the red light I’m stopped at and says, «Neh, I’ll keep going,» I won’t hesitate to bring my car back to West Wind.

They did a perfect job on my Mercedes 2004 E500 which was hit in a parking lot. The paint match was perfect which is hard for a black car. They got it done when they said they would and customer service was great. Thanks guys.

I just had my car damage repaired at Westwind. First of all Chris Parker has so much integrity and kindness its unbelievable. My car had a nasty ugly dent. Its hard to believe that it looks brand new. The contour, the paint. The quality craftsmanship is the kind we dream of but seldom receive. If anyone needs their auto repaired from a dent, from an accident, from vandalism, for any reason, take it to Westwind and you will be so happy with the results…
From customer service to the repair itself, this place ROCKS!!!

After two weeks of trying to find someone I could schedule a car detailing with, I finally found West Wind.
1. Unlike most other places in the city, they actually answer the phone when you call them. Not only do they answer it, but they answer on the first ring! No stupid IVRs. No voice mail. No endless phone tag. No BS of any sort. Just call — pick up — done.
2. The woman who answered the phone was professional and sharp. Didn’t waste my time with all sort of crap. I said I wanted to book a detailing. She gave me the first open date. I took it. We were done. That’s it. That simple.
3. The work was excellent. My car is clean and fresh and I haven’t found even the slightest spot that they missed. Very comprehensive.
4. They charged $ 275, which is a fair and normal price for this scope of work.
5. It was completed when promised.
I’ll definitely go back here and get detailing done with them regularly.

I LOVE these guys… they’re all great… Shannon, Chris, Nissin. They take great pride in their work, and their customer service is excellent. I can’t thank them enough and am always glad and eager to recommend them to friends.

Just had the interior & exterior of my truck detailed here these guys did a amazing job real happy with it. I was going to sell it but they did that good of a job it looks like new I’m just going to keep it :) I would def highly recommend going here. Great service and great staff :)

Review of their headlight lens renewal, as well as how I bought it.
Purchased a «mobile» renewal on Amazon Local for $ 30, which is actually a good price for this if done well. Oddly, the Amazon description was wildly inaccurate, it was actually a «you drive to them» deal. Minor to me, but still you would expect them and Amazon to get the service description right. To Amazon Local’s credit, they finally adjusted the description months later after I informed them.
On the the actual service… Brought the car in after a simple scheduling, plenty of hipster population in that neighborhood now so I knew expensive industrial coffee places and pork pie hat haberdasheries would be plentiful for killing time and laughing.
Told it would take half an hour but it probably took an hour before they called, not a big deal. I returned and looked at the lenses, and they looked 75% better but it seemed there was more improvement possible. To their credit they quickly agreed and I hung out another half hour in the neighborhood, and on return I’d say they are 95% — which is better than I expected for my older car. Regular price for this is $ 50, I paid $ 30 and am very happy. Knocking off a star for the need to audit their work, but I would definitely recommend them to others for this service.

I called to book an appt to have my car detailed inside and out and had plenty of days available to fit my schedule. I spoke with Nissin who was very friendly and playful. I brought my filthy car in at the scheduled time and met with a very friendly female (sorry, I forgot her name), left my car and returned to get it at the scheduled time… and there it was… my BEAUTIFUL and dirt-​free car. My 16yr old said, «Wow​.it looks BRAND NEW.»
West Wind staff refused a tip (who does that?) They were so personable and ture to their word. My quote was the price I paid and they even got out stains that a previous company was unable to get out. I will be back.

First of all I found Westwind using Unilocal.They turned out to be staggeringly sweet people, affordable, fast and willing to work with me in the moment to help us out.

I called them and requested a same-​day appt for interior detailing; my lady had just lost her dog and it was pretty much the dog’s car. so i thought step one was to detail the interior of the dog’s car. I called Westwind and let them know exactly why I wanted this appt today, explained about the dog and voila!- appt at 3. How cool is it that they did whatever it took to help us in such a terrible moment and they respected the loss and the general shittiness of putting a pet down.
Later, when my lady went to pick up her car, having just put her hound down, she was gaping-​mouth stunned at how clean it was and how the staff all came over and introduced themselves **and their dogs!** and all said they were sad for her loss.
So human, so awesome. They can have my $$ anytime. For what its worth, dear competitors of Westwind reading this, the human part of the business is why customers come back; good luck catching up to Westwind.
