Young Community Developers — another one of the MYEEP agencies. This is the agency I came to for summer employment in 2004. Ronnell Clayton was the MYEEP Coordinator here at Young Community Developers when I came here in 2004. Ronnell was a very nice guy and very easy to get along with once you get to know him well.
I never thought I end up coming to this site but oh well and in 2004, I was told that all participants for the MYEEP program had to go to the MYEEP agency closest to the zip code they live in. This building is right off of 3rd St, so I saw myself consistently on 3rd St everyday just for this purpose.
The area in the surrounding neighborhood itself can be dangerous, coming here during the day is okay but it is dangerous at night.
Getting a summer job through MYEEP from 2002 – 2004 and 2006 gave me a very good head start that helped me increase my work experience while meeting other people which allowed me to expand my social network furthermore.
Anyways, MYEEP — — Mayor’s Youth Employment and Education Program is a very good way to provide academic support and work experience to San Francisco’s Youth!
