Zumba with Dee

I tried it for the first time and I loved it. Dee is great, always smiling. She will help you if you have trouble understanding the steps without making you feel bad.
The classmates are a lot of fun too!

Dee’s Zumba classes are the best! I had never tried Zumba before I came to this class so was nervous, but she was really welcoming. The songs are great, really upbeat and peppy (I have now put them on my gym playlist) and the moves make you feel like you’ve had a proper workout! Recommended :)

I love Dee’s Zumba classes! I’ve been doing Zumba for the past few years, but have never been to a class quite like this.
Dee is thoughtful in the way she chooses songs each class (sweet playlists), she ensures we’re all on the same page and looking our best while Zumba-​ing and she makes it fun! It’s probably the combo of the endorphins and how cool Dee/​my classmates are in the class, but during this hour every week, I can’t stop smiling!

Saying Dee is a fantastic Zumba instructor is an understatement. She’s more than that. She’s warm, friendly, loving and caring for ALL of her students. Not to mention, she’s funny and she keeps the party going. Quick to please her students with the type of music she plays. Always ready to answer questions before and after class.
She’s charming and genuine. Sweet and kind but make no mistake, she is tough and will give you an amazing workout every time. She’s the highlight of my week and I wouldn’t dare miss her class as I am addicted. ;)

I’d been meaning to try this class for a while now– but always seem to be working. I finally got to do the class last night and it was so much FUN!!! I’ve done zumba a couple times with classes at the gym — and its fun but it never felt like i got a good workout from the class. That said — totally not the case with this class — I was sweating the whole time. By the 50 minute mark I felt like all I wanted to do was sit down. The music is up beat and Dee’s moves are challenging without being hard to learn.
I also loved the addition of bhangra music into the class. Such a good workout thats fun to do
I will totally be back the next time I have a Wednesday off.

I’ve become hooked on Zumba, and Dee’s Wednesday evening class is awesome. Her class is conveniently located near multiple public transit lines (there’s plenty of nearby street parking as well), in a large bright dance studio tucked away on Heron Street. $ 10 gets you a great workout that’s both challenging and fun — a difficult balance for any instructor, but Dee makes it work. And she’s super nice!

I was nervous about trying Zumba for the first time — very nervous. If this was anything like my first step class, I’d feel uncoordinated and embarrassed. Luckily, it was an amazing experience!
I headed to Dee’s Zumba class with colleagues (the class near my office) and we all had a great time. I enjoyed the dance moves, fairly easy coordination, and surprisingly great workout! I had no idea that dancing and having so much fun for an hour could really make me sweat. I should have brought water but luckily a friend shared. We danced to rap, salsa, hip hop, and more and the entire class was so FUN!
I’ve now been telling all my friends about Zumba and I’m surprised/​happy to find out how many people either already love it or have been wanting to try it. I plan to make Wednesday nights my Zumba and dinner date nights with girlfriends now. And, for just $ 10 each class, I won’t need to break the bank :)

Absolutely INCREDIBLE class. I feel amazing and will definitely be going back! The music and steps really get you moving and enjoying yourself. The energy in the room was up and everyone was really into it. It was a great workout and a TON of fun! Dee’s energy and moves get everyone moving and having a great time. Cannot wait for more!

This was my first time doing Zumba and it was fantastic! Dee’s music and steps got me sweating and into it super quick! This class allows you to put your own style into the moves making it so much more fun than a typical class at the gym. I mean, what’s better than dancing to awesome music and getting a good workout out of it?!

I have taken a couple of classes with Zumba with Dee and I am hooked! Anyone who knows me will tell you that I absolutely hate working out, but I love to dance and thought I would try a Zumba class as a way to get a workout in. I’m so glad I tried with Zumba with Dee. I thought the instructor was really good. Her music selection was great and she covered multiple genres of dance. She was energetic and made the class a lot of fun and I didn’t even feel like I was working out, although let me tell you I DEFINITELY broke a sweat. I think this class is an excellent way to have fun and would recommend it to get a good workout or as a fun activity with your girls.
