As today, 12/12/201511:51AM. I’m standing in front of 701 S. San Gabriel Blvd. But there is no such store and I called all the number list on the web, turns out disconnect it. I guess they closed the business a while ago. I’m too late.

Just around the corner with great people! It was my first time visiting store and I am glad I found my place to go! Jeff was really helpful and his advise was great, since I am new to this RC hobby. Will be back for more Jeff. but they do have funky hours. I wish they would stay open at least till 6. Please do visit Bad Dog Hobbies aka Speedtech RC, I know I’ll be going back.

I dunno if ownership changed or if they just changed their name, but this store is now known as Speedtech R/C. Same website as listed above. Great shop for R/C cars. They have a ton of Tamiya on-road stuff but also carry Kyosho, Associated and Losi buggies. The store is kind of a mess but the owner is super helpful and always willing to answer questions and just chat about R/C. It’s not really a browse and shop store, more of a counter where you tell them what you need. They carry kits, bodies, motors, radios, electronics, spare parts, etc. Everything you need to get started in this hobby. They can also provide guidance and answer questions if you are running into issues building your kit. They kinda have some funky hours. Most weekdays they are open til 5 or 6. Friday til 7pm. Wednesday until 1pm. Saturdays until 2pm, I think, but closed every third Saturday of the month. Closed Sundays.

This place is great if you are into RC cars. I have a Tamiya TT-01E that I drift with on occasion and I can always come her to get parts, new tires, etc. The atmosphere is laid back with just a bunch of guys talking about RC related things and are always happy to answer questions. One warning though is their credit/debit minimum is $ 10, I just went there to get a $ 5 part and ended up buying some spare tires just to get my total over the minimum.
