Customer was buying cake in front of me and decided to call someone to ask what they wanted, holding up the line. Then the customer gave the phone to the cashier and she started to talk on the phone. What. the. heck. Waited ten minutes just to leave without any bread.

Had a pork sung bread which was wrapped in egg from here. It was a pretty big piece however I think I’ve had better quality at JJ’s Bakery.

This bakery is located inside the 99 ranch market.
I come here on a weekly basis to get my pork sung cheese puff. One day some lady was trying to be slick by throwing a couple of baked buns in her bag. The worker lady caught it and told her to put those pastries back like a pro. I was smiling so hard because worker lady reacted to the theft like it happened everyday. Just goes to show you how good this place is. People are willing to risk prison time just to get a taste of this stuff.
I’ve always told my friends if you get caught stealing it better be for something worthwhile like a rolex or I dont know. anything but a .99 cent pastry ya know?

Desir Bakery is your classic Chinese style bakery conveniently located inside 99 Ranch Market. You’ll most likely frequent Desir Bakery if you’re already inside the supermarket. They always have promotional buns and bread on sale each week, which is a good way to try a new baked good!
You’ll find a variety sweet and savory buns, breads, rolls, and cakes. Though Desir Bakery isn’t my first choice for a birthday cake, they definitely do the trick when you are looking for a decent and convenient place to buy an Asian cake.
