I ordered a birthday cake from this bakery and picked the dinosaur-​themed cake from their book; paid $ 44 for a ¼ sheet cake. When I picked up the cake the plastic decorations were in a plastic bag and not on the cake. I paid all that money to get what was in the picture so they should have decorated the cake. I could have ordered dinosaur cake topper from Amazon if I wanted to save money. I have never bought a cake anywhere that expected the customer to decorate the cake themselves. Absolutely unacceptable!

Came here to get a few desserts and the selection was pretty slim when it comes to sweet treats.
Everything was a bit stale and bland in flavor, I prefer my desserts sweeter.
Service was fine and the prices fair, I might have to come back and try something savory, as the desserts were not my thing at all.

Pastry selection at this place blows… the only thing worth buying was the black egg pastry that my mom likes and the macaroons to try out.
The Black Egg pastry is a small heavy round pastry with white lotus seed paste and the 100 year old black egg inside. My mom likes it — doesn’t look appealing to me.
I got two macaroons: one raspberry and one apricot. The apricot tastes good and creamy and not overly sweet. The cream smells good when biting into it. The raspberry sucks — it was dried and cracked quick when biting into it. At $ 1.85, it was nice to try, but wouldn’t buy it again.
Service was decent, but I wouldn’t come back

THOSE DELICIOUS EGGTARTS BOTH STYLES are the only thing i come here for. Also the only thing these stars are based on. Much delicious. Everything else was standard and not very memorable.

I come here once a week to grab a loaf of White Toast ($ 2.20).
The white toast is AWESOME. I use it for all my sandwiches, and it stays fresh all week long.
Keep in mind that this place is cash only unless you spend $ 8.
There’s always parking up front for 15 minutes, which should be more than plenty to grab some bread.

I like trying different bakeries and am looking for a good one. I kept going by this place and it’s in the same center with 168 Market and Sam Woo, so I thought heck I’ll give this place a try.
They charged me an extra $ 2.72 for nothing! On the receipt it says «PAID IN FULL», and doesn’t say for what item. Was it because I paid in cash? Is there a sign that says credit only? Did I miss it? I picked out 8 items from their shelves and feel they scammed me. It should it be a 2 item maximum. Don’t buy more than 1 or 2 items from this place.
I won’t be returning to this place it’s not worth being scammed. I just thought you’d want to know.

I was excited to see that a new bakery had opened in the area, but yikes! Purchased the Mango Mousse Cake for my sister’s birthday and I ended up apologizing for the terrible flavor and consistency. The mousse was a bland, gelatinized wreck. It was neither light nor airy. The cake itself was very dry. None of us were able to finish our slices.

Mmmmmm, bread buns are so moist, light and fluffy! Got the dried pork, pineapple bun with cream, and hot dog. All pretty good. A nice stop after 168 market. Cash only!

Parking can get kind of crazy but they have a lot of good bread and buns in this location. Their selection is good and things are well stocked. This location is clean as well. Other than that, it’s your typical Diamond Bakery.
