Valley Tile Factory Outlet

Long story short, ordered 300sq ft of backsplash. They promised me that it would be at the store by the next day before 2pm (Friday). Every thing went well UP TILL 2pm when my tiles where a no show. I called the store and they said that the tiles were not there and that they would give me a call when they come in. Saturday, the next day I call around noon and asked for my order, and they said «OH YEA, HOLD ON LET ME CHECK… NOPE. NOT HERE…» I then said proceeded to let them know how important timelines are because Im doing a remodel and I’m paying contractors by the day. The guy just said oh… well nothing I can do about it. It can be delivered by monday morning .
Fast forward to monday late afternoon, the tiles showed up and miraculously they were the right ones, HOWEVER… they did not deliver the grout and sealant I paid for as well. The delivery guy said, it wouldn’t fit in his truck… go figure…

If I could give less than 1 star I would…
I originally went to Valley Tile on 10÷23÷11 and paid in full for a hardwood floor ($ 1727.16). Days later, I got a call from Bob the salesperson who informed me that the wood was out of stock and the order must be cancelled. So I requested the refund to be sent to me and he estimated 2 weeks to receive my refund. Two weeks later I did not receive my refund, but now I also needed floor tile for my bathroom.
I went back to Valley Tile. I told Bob that I needed the tile quickly because my contractors were waiting on it. Bob helped me pick out a tile with bullnose trim that he made sure was in stock by calling the factory. He told me we could pick up the next day 3pm. My contractor went to pick it up 2 days later, and no tile had been delivered, even though Ray confirmed that the tile had been delivered. When I called, they told me it would be several more days. I decided to cancel and pick up tile elsewhere to complete my bathroom, and Bob acknowledged my refund request.
I’ve called weekly and talked to Bob, Rey, or Diamond (the owner) to request my refund check. They don’t call back or act when they say they will. The last time I spoke to Diamond was early January and he mised that I would get a check the following week. I still have not received it. I just don’t have the time for these delay tactics, and I don’t have time to keep pestering them for my refund. This has been the worst business I’ve ever had to deal with.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau 1÷12÷12−− still no response or refund. Next step is small claims court.

Short: I ordered 1 style tile for 320sq ft. An order really cannot get much simpler than that. They changed the pick-​up date 3 times, delivered the wrong tile, and were rude throughout the process. When I asked if I needed to go in person and change my order, Bob said, «What, are you going to come and stare at me until the tiles get here?». What a funny guy.
Do not buy from Valley Tile.

I feel sorry for the owner of this place. I have spent couple thousand dollar on this place, and the sales men (mr. Ray) treat me fairly, however, there one salesman, named Bob who is very rude. I call to order some tiles, and Bob said he have it the next morning. I came next day around noon, hoping I can get my tiles. when I ask Bob, if he has my tiles ready, he said he didn’t have yet. I was dispointed, then I said «what happened sir, you said it should be ready this morning, is noon now»
The next comment from Bob, really piss me off. He said, Well I lied!!! You know I don’t shitt tiles on my ass, this tiles came from somewhere, ok.
Your tiles is not here and I am not gonna get your tiles. Go buy somewhere else.
I was shock, I was speechless. And most importantly I will not go to valley tiles, anymore.
No wonder they don’t have any business. Only one sales men working evertime.

so here goes…
This is a story all about how my ORDER got flipped-​turned upside down.
And I’d like to take a minute just type this up. I’ll tell you how I became the victim of a shop called Valley Tile Factory Outlet.
… but this would take more than a min to type/​read :(…
I was on a quest… a quest to find a specific colored cove base for my new business. Unfortunately, majority of the tile outlets within the vicinity do not carry the specific color that I needed. It was an arduous task, but alas I stumbled across Valley Tile Mart. One phone conversation later it was disclosed that they indeed carried a color that SOMEWHAT matched my needs… «GLOSSY COCOA»

Long story short, I ordered 200 pieces of tiles from Ray & Diamond (i think they are partners in crime… i mean co-​owners). They told me it would be shipped to store within 3 – 5 business days from a local tile outlet. Feeling all giggty goo I gladly paid everything upfront and waited…
and waited…
Three business days later I contacted Ray and Diamond and they told me a grave mistake was made on the order. The stock was actually kept in Texas! However, they reassured me as the seasoned salespersons they were that the shipment is on its way via-​fedex/​ups and would shortly arrive within 3 more business days. I said okay… mistake happens, but as long as I get the goods as promised.
Shift to the present (two weeks later after initial order), Ray contacted me this morning and told me how they have again screwed up and the goods never left Texas. He offered me one option «would you like to wait five more days?». I counter-​offered him with a request to cancel the order which I felt was very reasonable. Being at fault, Ray accepted my request and told me to go in the store and he would cancel the order for me.
Here’s the interesting thing though, I had used my company card to make the purchase. Now, it would seem they need the card again to cancel my transaction, even though they have the original sales slip and authorization slip from the terminal. Unfortunately for me, I do not carry the business with me all the time and would have to come back tomorrow with the card (what a hassle). I shall return tomorrow with the CC and hopefully they will keep their word.

Please! Buyers beware!

Terrible experience. I purchased tile for bathroom and the hardest part was getting it from Valley Tile. Extremely unreliable, poor customer service, and even worse company organization. They will get your order wrong and it WILL take weeks to fix it. It has happened several times with the same project. Make sure you keep your receipts and bring it with you (if you decide to shop there) because it will take them an hour to find their copy of the receipt. I went in there to complain about the delay and found another customer doing the same. They don’t care and won’t go out of their way to help you out or to fix the problem.
