The price is half of the b&b closer to Point Reyes and we got the queen bed in the suite (rm# 6). It’s a modest size room and very cozy for a couple. The bathroom is small and the shower was very small, but how long do you stay in the shower any way so it served it purpose. The bed was comfortable to sleep on and our bedroom was a comfortable size. The guy who checked us in was very accommodating and allowed us to check out two rooms before we decided on one. I would highly recommend this place if you can get the queen size «suite.»

The Valley Inn is comparable to a motel. The décor is outdated and falls short of rustic. There is no TV. The bathroom plumbing made a flushing sound every half hour or so throughout the night. The woman who greeted us was a bit unfriendly. I recommend options closer to Point Reyes. The restaurant is certainly nice, but this is not representative of the Inn next door.
