I’ve only been here for breakfast. Every time the service is personable, friendly & food is delicious but a bit pricy.

Really delighted to find this place. I had the Eggs Wyatt, a variation on benedict with prosciutto and some sliced portabello on top. Lovely service, lovely setting.

Most amazing Eggs Benedict and Eggs Blackstone(bacon instead of ham) ever! The home fried potatoes were amazing and the cup of fruit put a nice balance to the fabulous meal.

We had a party of 10 and they were very accommodating. We sat outside and it was so lovely. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. We especially loved Patrick, our food runner! He had on a great shirt and was really personable and awesome.

The nite staff are wonderful! We had the steak dinner and it was cooked to perfection! Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. We both have been waiters in the past and know the business. We split the ceaser which was plenty for 2 as a starter salad. We will definitely be back for dinner! I have been there a few times for lunch and it was just as satisfying. I love the outdoor dining area! Its definitely a great restaurant to stop by on the way to the beach or after!!!

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. $ 20.00 for a much less than average hamburger, 2 cokes and small coleslaw is irreconcilable for any reasonable person to pay. 11:30AM Wednesday 3÷9… 10 Customers, two waiters… Service was good enough for me… buttt After reading the reviews I doubt very much if I would return especially during the weekend. $ 20.00 for a much less than average hamburger, coke and coleslaw is 100% wrong. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Too bad… Great looking menu and atmosphere…

Dear Owner, You have a lovely little location with decent food but the service level of your wait staff is 100%abysmal. My husband and I arrived this late morning before the lunchtime weekend rush and the young lady at the host desk greeted and seated us immediately. Sadly, that’s where service came to a screeching halt! We waited and waited and waited for a server to take our order despite counting three servers on duty. Eventually a female server(black and white horizontal stripe long sleeve T) did approach our table to take our order but she was inattentive to say the least. Her demeanor was aloof and unengaging. She failed to offer condiments with our meal, failed to bring my coffee for 15-minutes, didn’t stop by to check in with us on how the food was or if we needed anything. We didn’t get our water refilled or ketchup and only did so by flagging down the host or the busser to get what we needed. There was no order to the service, no flow, no sense or urgency and no-one actively taking care of customers. I witnessed a male server cough in his hand and then wait on the table next to us. I’m thankful we didn’t have him handling our plates of food! The rest of the time I witnessed him leaning against the hot food area where the plates come out or walk around the restaurant not making eye contact with any customer, especially those customers who also patiently waited to be served. While waiting for the check, our server, finally walked towards our table, pointed at us and said: «you wanna get out of here, right» and walked right past us without stopping! True professionalism(!), but yup, she had that right, we couldn’t wait to get out of there! I encourage the owner to hold pre-shift meetings and dedicate time each day to work with his/her team on customer service. Two Bird Café has the ability to transform into an absolute gem. Until then, I won’t be back and I certainly won’t recommend this café to anyone.

The food is fine– but the service is awful. The waitstaff totally ignored us, offered coffee but never brought it– the bus boy brought us bread upon request– but brought it INHISHANDS– no basket, no plates. Pretty gross. The waitress had no smiles, and didn’t bother to bring us anything that we requested(coffee, water, mimosas) except the bill. Cute place, but I’ll never go again.

The worse service ever ruined our day! Arrived on Presidents’ Day fairly busy and the waitress after sitting for 10 minutes complains she is all alone. They should have just closed. Took my 91 year old dad for a special lunch and they ruined it.

4 stars for the food, two stars for the service. The food was not the best in the world but it was good. The service was terrible. We didn’t even see our waitress for the first 15 minutes of us being seated. When a waitress finally addressed our table we felt more like a number than actual people. It felt like we were being rushed so they could turnover our table. It was not a particularly welcoming experience.

Bad service. Medium food. Small burger in huge bun and burned home fries. Haven’t seen a waiter for 15 minutes. Skip to the next place if you aren’t starving.

How did it take us so long to discover this little gem?! Tucked in the woods in San Geronimo, this cozy restaurant should definitely be on any Marin brunch list. The fireplace helped take the bite out of the rainy morning, second in warmth only to the friendly staff. Each person truly seemed to be happy to be there. The regular menu had mostly the«usual suspects,» but there were probably 10 specials — all featuring fresh & seasonal ingredients. Hubby had trout(delicious with a crust of organic pumpkin seeds — lighter than it sounds) & eggs, & I splurged on french toast with fresh fruit. The food was very good but not mind-blowing. The walls are covered with beautiful tiles hand painted by a local artist. Highly recommend this place & am eager to come back during nicer weather to enjoy the beautiful creekside patio!

Two Bird has been one of my favorite restaurants since childhood but I have a renewed appreciation for it as an adult. The food is as great as the atmosphere and wait staff.

I had a really great time! I ordered a basic bacon and cheese omelette and blueberry pancakes. Hey have real maple syrup as well. The pancakes are crispy on the edge, just how I like them and it’s really hard to find nowadays. I was disappointed in myself that I asked for ketchup before I tried the potatoes as they were moist and flavored enough that I ended up not needing to use ketchup. As the first customer there at 7 am I wish that there was music playing, it was a little eerie. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m up in the area

Such a lovely place to spend a quiet brunch. Two Birds has a wonderful deck, just enough off the street to enjoy the quiet and scent of the pine trees. Besides your usual fare, they have a moveable whiteboard with the numerous specials of the day. There is something for every palate! Highly recommend for a nourishing brunch — both inside and out.

We have been a fan of brunch and dinner for over 10 years. Today my family decided to go for lunch around 130. Very quite, only a few tables seated outside. We stood waiting to be seated for over 5 minutes as waitress said, «hi» then walked away. She continued to walk by us a number of times without another word. We waited another 5 minutes with no acknowledgement that we were there waiting to be seated. We walked out after the lack of service

Omg what great specials salmon with a soy reduction yum and chicken with brandy cream peach sauce and prosciutto and melon for an appetizer. Absolutely the best restaurant in Marin Tony is the owner and the chef. That’s why!

Ate both dinner and breakfast here. Both were memorable. Salmon for dinner was cooked exceptionally well and caught in local waters. Breakfast included eggs from chickens which are living on the restaurant property and trout was caught fresh from local stream. Delightful!

Stop here on your way out to Pt. Reyes for a fantastic breakfast. I love to sit outside and really love the food and atmosphere. The antique plates are so pretty and the restaurant is beautiful.

Came here for an early dinner after hiking. This place is waaay too over priced. If you are going to charge $ 25 for an entrée, then your bread should served be fresh with warm butter and there shouldn’t be a ton of flies in the restaurant. Food was ok, but def not worth the price tag.

Cliff’s a kooky guy who convinced me that this would be the place to go for a Valentine’s hiking weekend. And he was spot on about predicting our reaction. My boyfriend and I had a FANTASTIC time staying two nights here. It’s a great getaway, and here’s why: You get the everything you hope for: great food, welcoming locals and strangers, romantic and relaxing setting, and plenty of comfort — without breaking your wallet. Proximity is a bit far from SF, but if you love hiking you’re in the sweet spot now. ~40 min from Point Reyes and oysters. Rolling green hills and superb trails in every direction. We went to Alamere Falls and were glad to be able to eat next door then collapse on the bed right after. The Valley Inn is right next door to the Two Birds Café, so why not stop by. Great Indian and American selections in downtown Fairfax only 10 minutes away. CVS, Walgreens and other convenience factors are only a 10 min drive. Pizza delivery… wait til you get home! Now take a look at a map. Yup, two national parks right there on the fringe of the place. Muir woods is less than a half hour away, and you get a nice backyard surprise(hint: plenty of healthy). Breakfast perks — Fresh squeezed OJ. FRESHAS A NEWBORNBABE’S DROOL. Which is what you’ll be doing when you see the spreads. Hashbrowns and tates are cooked to perfection. Tony’s omelettes are heaven wrapped in fluffy eggasms. Dinner Perks — Cliff is a pretty cool guy who works at the Café. He’ll tell ya some pretty good stories while you’re enjoying the scallops or steak. He recommends not getting the burger, but that smell is so tantalizing… Perks of the Rooms — newly renovated, there’s a sprinkling of charm and romance without the overkill. The soap is freakin’ nice — Eucalyptus? Oh boy don’t mind if I do. KILLERCOMFY beds. If you want to get some hiking done early, their comfy ass beds might not be what you want to rest on. Lastly, price range is good. We got Room 4 for a very reasonable price($ 137). The delicious food only makes you cry from the surge of joy your taste buds emit and not your wallet. And it does feel like an oasis from the city and suburbs. You got a haven here with greens both on your plate and in every corner of your backyard. The end? Hope not. I’d like to return real soon.

It’s ok, but not worth the $$ or a trip out of your way. I came here for Sunday brunch on a whim and got the fresh-squeezed OJ and the recommended corned beef hash & eggs. The OJ was good, but was it worth $ 6? Nah. The corned beef hash was ok, but not worth $ 13.50 for sure. The staff seemed very nice though, and the décor was very«farm-house» with mismatched chairs/tables(which I happened to like). However there were flies all around the dining room crawling on the silverware and of course everywhere else. Finally someone opened the window to try and help but… yuck. The room I was in was cramped too. There was a party of maybe 8-ish in the center and their chairs were basically in my table space. Servers and patrons walked by sliding their rears on my table because where else were they supposed to fit?! I don’t understand what the other 5star reviews are all about. It wasn’t anything amazing at all and in total it was about $ 22 for OJ and hash. If I were to price what I ate there: $ 4OJ and $ 9 for the meal itself. Although I’d still give the same tip for the good service I received.
