This place is supper yummy, great tasting burgers full of flavor and great size too. Very welcoming place. I can honestly say these burgers are way better then restaurant burgers. The flavor is 100% on point

This place was so good I deleted an app to make room for the Unilocal app just to write a review! Hubby and I usually go to a place thats closer but after finally giving this place a shot I’ll never go back to the other place again! Very friendly, very inviting, free WiFi, a.c., definitely not the regular taste of your standard burger joint. Hubby mentioned we were new to the neighborhood and the guy even left a little welcome note on the fries. Very impressed! Our new burger spot for sure: D

So many times I have walked into a restaurant and disliked something I saw at some point during my visit. This place was super clean, the service was phenomenal, jaime himself has a very warm welcoming personality, very friendly and inviting. The burgers were extremely fresh, fries as well, he handed us a remote to watch television as we waited. We will definitely be visiting there again. Absolutely wonderful experience! Wow, what a surprise. Just had lunch here and I thought their food was amazing. I purchased a double cheeseburger and I must say the quality of the meat was very good and I love the fact the Thousand Island dressing is homemade. I also love the small fries and they have the most amazing watermelon drink

we were in the area looking for a little place to stop and grab some quick food and stumbled across this place and let me tell you it’s awesome. super great avocado cheeseburger and perfected California burrito. Jaime is super sweet and went out of his way to give us an awesome experience. Thank you!

I was expecting a typical fast food hamburger spot. I was definitely wrong. Everything from the food to the service was excellent quality. The place is also super clean. I ordered the hamburger combo and onion rings. Great quality food with great taste. I definitely recommend this place

These people are by far the friendliest people with great service like I have never seen. The owners still work almost everyday instead of hiring a bunch of other people. Jaime has memorized my favorite order and He always asks how I’m doing and how my church is doing. They show how they really care about the customer. I’ve tried many of the items on the menu from the beginning when they first opened till now and have no complaints. The burgers and the Mexican food are all delicious! It’s also nice having the option between the Mexican and burgers. I honestly can’t find
anything to say bad about them. It’s become my regular lunch spot!:) they even offer the remote to change the channel on the tv lol The prices are not super cheap like McDonald’s because it’s a small business trying to stay a float and for the quality and freshness and overall experience you receive it’s beyond worth it. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped here on our way through Hemet and San Jacinto. A retro diner. Place is so nice and clean, restrooms clean as well.
Cheeseburgers are awesome. I had the double cheeseburger and my husband had the avocado cheeseburger plus we included fries and a drink.
We were looking for a place that had a patio as we had our cockapoo dog with us. They have music on the patio, very nice touch.
The hamburger has the most wonderful flavor. Fries were crispy and did not taste greasy.
The owners are delightful people. Recommend you give it a try.

At first I honestly expected a small shop that you ordered from an outside window, but then I realized there was a door so I walked in was greeted very nicely and ordered my meal. We had a small wait so we sat down and I noticed that it was actually pretty nice in there. The menu wasn’t too long and the food definitely was not as expected. I expected tiny little burgers so I got a double and man was it a double I couldn’t even finish it. All I gotta say is now instead of driving across town to get a good burger I can go to this little shop.

I was in the area on business and stopped in for lunch. The restaurant was very clean, the owner (I assume) was very friendly, and I loved the photos from the original burger stand. I had the cheeseburger and it was delicious. It was the best burger I’ve had in a long time. Prices were reasonable too. When I’m in the area, you bet I’ll be stopping by for lunch!

Great customer service, not from this are but stopped by while picking up a car. Owner was friendly and the food was great!

APPEARANCE: Very quaint and nostalgically heart-​warming presence in the community. The posterized vintage photographs of high school students hanging out in the historic joint that was known before as Pete Shop shop makes the place even more special. You step inside and it’s almost like traveling in time (as long as you do not see the modern kitchen equipments and flat screen television, you would think you time-​traveled).
CLEANLINESS: Very clean. Unless you have OCD, you’ll pick on the slightest dust that accumulated on the surface within the past 8 hours. You must remember that this shop caters to the warm community of residents, church attendees, students and faculties attending the schools that are less than a stone throw away from the shop.
PRICE: Competitive. The meat and all ingredients they use are fresh, not frozen and every order is prepared at the time order is received.
PORTIONS: I am on a diet so I cannot speak for some other than my own — the portion satisfies me. In fact, I have leftovers that I finish enroute to my next destination.
TASTE: Because the ingredients are fresh, I can savor the real flavor of the burger patties, the french fries, chili, mushrooms and the shake/​malt my hubby gladly shares with me.
STAFF & SERVICE: Very personable, warm and friendly owners. We always seem to stop by when the owners are in, and that is always very good. We observed how they are with customers and we like what we see — no discrimination, no judgment, customer service is excellent. They are so approachable and easy to talk to.
TRIVIA — ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR «POTATO SALAD». This is one of the items that I miss the most whenever we stop by the shop. Their Potato Salad is TO DIE FOR and is worth the trip. This was the original item before french fries was added in the menu. I begged the owner to bring it back and she said she may consider making it as a catering item. ORDER THE POTATO SALAD for your next family gathering, business lunch meeting or potluck!
BACKGROUND OF THIS REVIEWER: We are a team of Realtors who had the luck of tasting their first offer of menu when they just opened. We stop by to enjoy their food whenever we are in the area. One of these days we will set out on our 40-​mile trip just to get our hands on that Potato Salad, their mushroom burger, chili burger, onion rings and the malt/​shake. We are foodies and we have very discriminating taste for food as you can perhaps checkout my reviews of other restaurants that we visited and rated here on Unilocal.All of the above statements are true to the best of my knowledge and sincerity based on the number of visits we made so far to this shop. TWO THUMBS UP and may you prosper and revive the historic Pete’s Burgers of San Jacinto under your new name, Jaime’s Burgers. KUDOS.

This is a new place for me and I think recently opened? I stopped by today to get some food for the kids. Burgers were great! Im not a fan of really skinny fries like In N Outs but Chili cheese fries were good amd decent sized. I ordered the family packed which was a good deal but the fries were very small portions in over sized bags which made them look even skimpier. Maybe they ran out of small fry bags? The onion rings were very good as well as the burgers. The zucchini sticks are nothing to brag about. Small portion as well. Most hole in the wall burger joints fill up the fry bags with fries and zucchini sticks so I was a bit surprised when I noticed the small portions. But over all the food I had today was good and the kids enjoyed it as well.

We got a flyer on our door the other day and were excited to have someone who delivers in San Jacinto, other than pizza places. My wife said Jaime himself answered and was very pleasant when she placed a delivery order tonight. We both ordered the double avocado bacon burger. It was very tasty and had a good amount of bacon and avocado, not just a couple small pieces. The sauce was good too. The fries were pretty good as well. They were thin but not too crispy and flavored with seasoned salt. Delivery was very fast (about 20 mins) and the food still warm. We will order from there again. The Spicy Jalapeño Burger and their burritos sound good so will try one of them next.

Okay, let me start off by saying that this small restaurant had a clean appearance, good service, the owner of this place was very nice and friendly, and he even lets you have free range with the TV remote.
HOWEVER, the food is another story:
The shoestring fries were not enjoyable as they were bland with a bit of sogginess accompanied by a subtle ‘burnt fry’ flavor and barely had any seasoning salt to disguise this (there wasn’t nearly enough to add significant flavor at all, which defeats the purpose); the burger was served at around lukewarm temperature and the cheese was not melted; the pickle relish in the sauce lent an unpleasant flavor to the rest of the components causing the burger as a whole to be a challenge to eat because of the off-​putting taste; the beef patty itself was extremely thin (by that, I mean it couldn’t have been thicker than a quarter of an inch – this is NOT an over-​exaggeration, either) and it was not cooked thoroughly (it was still pink!) …I don’t know how they managed to under cook such a thin patty.
Bottom line: the food wasn’t very good and we definitely will not be coming back. I don’t know how this place can have such rave reviews about the food – just trust me on this, those reviews were very misleading.
Also, I know this isn’t the restaurant’s fault, but I found it a bit disturbing when a trashy-​looking woman who appeared to be a hooker wandered into the establishment with an even trashier-​looking tatted up big dude to place her order and sat down to wait/​eat. (She was wearing what was obviously a tight lingerie gown as a dress, and black leather high heel boots with buckles up the sides; sure seemed like hooker apparel to me.)
Anyway, I guess that’s Hemet/​San Jacinto for you.

This place is worth stopping by. Jamie’s has allot if potential to do great. We need more local people supporting our small businesses. Our food was very good.

Clean and very friendly…, building has 50 years of «Burger» history…, it is an old style burger stand… BURGERS & MALTS… They are the real deal. all fresh cut condiments… even the onions I didn’t want were so good I decided to eat them rather than say anything… haha. red cabbage cole-​slaw, a real chocolate shake and a warm welcome. This would be a great place to have a «Bike Run» to… Warning! the front door squeaks real loud when you open it. scared me… haha

My sister and I tried this place a couple of weeks ago and was just able to write a review. We very much enjoyed this place; it is very clean, and the service is excellent. Although the food is a bit on the expensive side, we thought it was well worth it because the owner, Jaime, is incredibly friendly.
