So, really, this place is a 7-Eleven. As such, there isn’t a whole lot to really say about it. I can’t give it five stars only because of the loiterers and homeless people that stay camped outside semi-permanently. You really can’t walk inside here almost ever without getting glared at, and it’s definitely creepy. The parking lot is pretty much always covered in trash. Still, this joint is pretty close to where I live, and I live near the Jungle’s previous location, so I can’t really expect much different in this area. In any case, the family that runs this store is super nice. The guy that is usually running the register always smiles and talks with me a bit, which I find awesome after watching how much shit he takes from some of the weirdos that come here. For the most part, the store is kept well-stocked and cleaned. There isn’t really anything to complain about inside!

I like going to 7-eleven to get drinks 24⁄7 and count on them being open anytime. The problem is the parking lot sucks, easy to get into an accident if you are not looking carefully. Love their selection and close to where I live.

I did come back around lunch time for a hot dog and it was warm, tasty and fresh! All the fixins were delicious too and I even was greeted by a friendly man in a 49ers hat as I walked inside! I was really appreciative of how clean the condiments station was. The AM& lunch time cashier guys are always friendly and he always says good morning — it’s really nice when you can walk into a 7 – 11, see someone who’s been up since 7am to 11pm and still has the courtesy to say hello. I wish I could afford to come here every morning because their coffee is also the bomb and there are so many tasty options — French Vanilla, Columbian, Hazelnut, 7 – 11 Special blend, etc.

I know that me writing a review of 7 – 11 is not really going to give anyone any news as to what to expect when passing through the sensor triggered doors, but I just love 7 – 11 for some reason. I know this literally goes without saying as it is a convenience store, but it’s just so damn convenient. Did you just pour some charcoal in your grill, but then realize you are out of lighter fluid? Pow! 7 – 11’s got you covered. Start doing some house cleaning and then run out of paper towels, but don’t want to drive all the way to Target in your skanked up cleaning clothes? Boom! 7 – 11 has a roll to spare. On the way to the gym, but notice you forgot your water bottle? Booyakasha! 7 – 11 has plenty of sport top water bottles to keep your thirst quenched on the bike machine. I also once read that 7 – 11 has the largest network of ATM’s in the world(notice how I wrote«ATM» and not«ATM machine»? Take note all you retards who say«ATM machine». It’s redundant.). That’s pretty interesting if it’s true. I took one star away because of the people that I have to deal with in 7 – 11. From the bum out front to the idiot holding me up in line while they pick their damn lottery scratchers out as if they are some kind of sage gathering their cosmic sense of which scratchers are going to be winners. I am irritated by them and everyone in between. Hey, I actually wrote a pretty short review for a change.

I gotta give you 5 stars just for being open all the time! You have been with me since I was a child. Playing street fighter 2 in your store was a honor and buying coca cola slushies came extra with a brain freezing experience. You always satisfy my need for 64 ounces of your variety sodas. I’d give you an extra star for the horchata that is available in a non-mexican restaurant. You never cease to amaze me with your hotel concierge service of people who will open your door for me only to expect change as I left the store. And when I’m hungry, your hot dogs and nachos are forever places in my heart.
