I’ve used Ed for a number of plumbing jobs, including clean outs, installing a replacement whole house water filter and garbage disposal. Also replacing a bathroom vanity and a toilet. Quick response, great work. Really appreciate him letting me watch and explaining as he goes to help me learn. Would highly recommend.

I’ve never had to call a plumber before & now I know who to call the next time I need one. Ed is very responsive & communicative, following up as promised (even after hours). He was flexible with his working hours to accommodate my schedule, which I really appreciated. The work was quick and high quality. I would definitely rely on Ed’s expertise next time I’m in a jam.

I highly recommend A-​1 plumbing. They are knowledge, fair and complete beyond satisfactory work. We have used them twice. The plumber that we had both times was Ed. We have had both small and one large plumbing problem that required new piping throughout our house. Ed did an awesome job! We will use them again but hope we don’t have to!

We called A-​1 Plumbing to install an ice maker in a commercial building. Ed came first thing the next morning at the scheduled time, and got our ice maker up and running exactly as we wanted. He quoted us a reasonable price over the phone, and there were no unexpected fees. Ed was professional, fair, friendly, and knowledgeable. We’ll be calling him again with future needs.

A-​1 Plumbing helped me with clog in the kitchen sink a couple of months back. They responded quickly and professionally and were able to fix the problem within a couple of hours. They gave me a 60 day warranty and as luck would have it, 65 days later, the same problem occurred. I called on a Sunday night to see if they would still honor the warranty and they did. Ed came out to the house the next day and found a new clog which he was able to clear. I will definitely use them again in the future and refer them to friends and family.

I live in Sonoma county and I have some property down in San Jose. My tenants called me around 2 a. m saying everytime they flush their toilet their bathtub is filling up with water. I’ve used A1 Plumbing in the past for my other properties so I gave them call. Ed came out to the property early this Saturday a.m.
According to my tenants it only took him about an hour in a half to fix the problem. Ed was curteous, professional, affordable and even wore booties to protect the carpet. He phoned me at the end of the job to give me a play by play of what all happened. I will be calling them in the future for all my plumbing needs. (Too bad they dont service Santa Rosa)

Late Easter Sunday evening, I was notified by one of my tenants that she had a plumbing issue. I was able to find one plumber who would show up immediately. To my surprise, he was there in 30 minutes. Ed isolated the problem and proceeded to fix the clogged drain. Due to the configuration of the pipes his only option was to go under into the crawl space of the apartment building. After disassembling and snaking the pipes he was able to unclog the drain.
I was very pleased with Ed’s professional, prompt and affordable service. I would highly recommend Ed with A-​1 Plumbing to anyone.

I called a1 plumbing to fix a gate valve. The valve was attached to a pvc nipple and I was afraid I would break the nipple. I thought I should call a plumber. After getting an outrageous quote of 500 dollars and being told this and that had to be done the plumber proceeded to snap the nipple. At that point I could do the repair myself. That meant jackhammering the concrete and replacing the valve. Took me 2 hours. How on earth the initial quote was 500 bucks was beyond me. Not appears these guys will jack the price up. Also, when I called I was told there was nothing that could be done since the invoice was closed. Poor customer service. I would never call these guys again
