Art Nails

My whole family goes to Art Nails — my aunt has been seeing Ann for over 20 years! I get the silk gel manicure every 3 weeks and pedicures every so often. I’m consistently impressed by the work the ladies do– my nails last so long and I always get compliments on them! I’ve gotten a facial here as well and it was incredibly relaxing. I 100% recommend Art Nails!

I get my pedicures here by Van. I work at a pet hospital so I can’t do much with my nails but I can and do love to get pedicures! Van is AMAZING! She’s very sweet, takes her time, and I always leave happy and relaxed. I absolutely recommend her :) They also got some new pedicure chairs, very relaxing, adds an extra little touch. Thank you Van

Excellent! I went here for the first time today, and I couldn’t believe how efficiently Ann worked. I get silk wrap, and I was in and out in 45 minutes. More importantly, my nails look and feel great! I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

I have been going to this salon for 20 years plus. It is a neighborhood salon, small, and they do an awesome job on my nails.
I am a meat cutter for Lunardi’s and it is a very physical job, but I need nice nails dealing with the public. I put my nails through a lot at work, but rarely in 20 years has a nail ever broke or fallen off, unless it was completely my fault hitting it too hard on something. I highly recommend this salon!

I have been going to see Ann at Art Nails for the better part of a decade, even though I do not even live in San Jose anymore.
I receive a specialized service called the China silk manicure, which is where a combination of silk and glue is placed over my natural nail so that it can grow long and be beautiful and strong (my nails are so thin and break easily). This makes for a very exquisite yet natural look, and Ann is the only one I have ever seen who can do it so nicely.
Another plus of this salon is that I can get my manicure and pedicure done at the same time, so it saves me time! Since I usually have to bring my children with me, it’s most helpful to get in and out as quickly as possible.
Ann is very accommodating with appointments and will even see me after hours if needed. All of the staff is friendly and kind; it is a family friendly salon.
I exclusively recommend Art Nails.

I’ve been going here for 10+ years. Ann is great at what she does. I get compliments where ever I go. I get the silk wraps because they are easier on my natural nails (which I found not many places still knows how to do). My nails come out natural looking and not thick like dinner plates! They also do french manicures free hand so it looks more natural. It’s amazing how well they last too. I’m on the computer typing away every day and my nails still lasts well over 3 weeks w/​o breaks or chips. My nails grows pretty fast otherwise I can probably go even longer without a fill. Well worth the money!

Great place for nails!

Art Nails is the best nail salon I’ve ever been to! They have an incredibly friendly staff & they have great service. I get my acrylic nails filled every 3 weeks from Ann and she is amazing! She is very detail oriented and I am never disappointed with how they turn out. My aunt is the one that told me about Art Nails and she’s been going to get her nails done from Ann for many many years. I refuse to go anywhere else now! Great nail place!

I love Art Nails!!! I go to Tammy and she is amazing. She always takes the time needed to give me a great pedi. Her massages are the best. It’s very rare that I have any chipping on my polish and they last a FULL two weeks, often times 3. I would highly recommend this shop.

I have been going to Art Nails for about 5 years on a regular basis. I always go to Ann, who is efficient, proficent and wonderful. I also get pedicures, which they do while Ann does my nails. I love the pedicure treatment, as well as being able to get in and out in a timely fashion. I have been to other salons and i simply think this place is the best.

I am rather shocked to see ANY negative comments on here about Art Nails!!! I was a customer of Anns since my 23 year old chid was only 6 months old! When I moved out of the bay area I traveled an hour and a half JUST to go to her!!! Her shop is AMAZING, not alot of frills but AMAZING nails unlike any! no lifting, not thick beautifully shaped, very natural! EVERYONE always complimented me on my nails when I got them done by her. If you want the BEST nails ever go see Ann at Art nails. If I did not have to move to Indiana I can guarantee you I would still be driving the hour and a half every 3 weeks to have her do them. They are beyond amazing!!! Trust me, I would not drive a suburban that far for «ordinary» nails, theyre extraordinary! I miss her very much, she is a sweet soul and an amazing nail tech AND so so very fast too! Couldnt ask for more! Miss you Ann!!!

I was rather disappointed by my whole experience here. I especially found it to be pricey for the quality, $ 10 manicure and a $ 20 spa pedicure (I’ve gone to higher end places which charge the same amount).
–the pedicure itself was pretty blah. I could’ve done better myself at home.
–the massage was disappointing… and they use the oils to massage which end up getting all over the place.
– they forgot to turn on the jetstream in the foot spa
–barely any opi colors and colors are on a cart, making it difficult to see options
–chair was old and uncomfortable as was the chair massage.
I mean the ladies were nice and all, but I definitely did not find this place to my liking.

This is a quiet, simple shop with a very talented staff. They’ve got massage chairs for pedis and the two best manicurists in the city: Ann and Van. (They’re sisters, by the way.) No perks, reasonable prices, polite and friendly staff.

This nail shop is your typical «Chop Shop». Customers are lined up at stations and nail technicians are using what really are dental tools to grind down your fingernails. These shops are a «dime a dozen» and almost on every corner. I have been wearing artificial nails for over 20 years and have been going to this shop for at least 8 years. I only use the owner of the shop Ann as my technician. She really is a magician with fingernails. She is extremely fast with fills (30 min) and more important than anything, my nails look natural. They are very thin when she is finished. I have left shops before where my nails are as thick as dinner plates. Ann is also accommodating with appointments. Note — This is NOT a «sh-​wee sh-​wee» place. This is a place to get in and out quickly and have your fingernails looking really nice.
I do not get pedicures at Art Nails. I have over the years and I just don’t like them. I think that they have a bizarre way of doing them. For example, they put your feet in the spa tub for 3 minutes and then take them out and drain the tub. What’s the point of that? For me, I go a few miles away to a different place for a fabulous pedicure. See my other review of Nail Magic.
