I had a chip on the windshield of my newly purchased Porsche 911. Researched around online and it came to two individuals who had good reviews. I decided to give Bill a call first mainly because he seems to be a car guy based on the kind of work he does (old car glasses etc.).
He was super busy, but gave me an appointment in the early afternoon. I found Bill to be honest and highly competent. My initial instinct about Bill turned out to be true as he told me about his truck restoration project and all the photos I see on the walls in his office.
Bill took the time with my car and because it was cold the resin seems to not cooperate, but in the end, he was able to fix my chipped windshield to near perfect condition.
In the end, it turns out he’s good friend with the other auto glass repairer (Mike), so it’s all good.

Bill definitely took care of me when the windshield on my Prius cracked. He quoted me the best price in town, did the work well and on time, and no dickering about price — just paid what he’d quoted me. Go see these guys if you need a windshield replaced!
One thing: make sure you make an appointment and have a ride to get home, because it can take a few hours for the glue/​sealer to set up.

A honest business that takes pride in their work. I called around and came across this shop on Unilocal.I spoke to Bill the owner. He gave me realistic expectation and didn’t falsely advertise like some shops would about the results. I took my car in so he could inspect the damage. He managed to squeeze me in same day. The process took about 30minutes and the results are not flawless however it’s near perfect. I am very satisfied with the results. Those that are looking at cost. He is very fair in price.

Excellent service at a reasonable price. I had a small chip on my windshield due to a rock flying hitting it on the freeway. I made an appointment to see Bill and he did great job fixing it while I waited at an affordable price.

It’s when a truck throws a rock at your windshield and you can see it’s bad. Worse, it begins that long crack. And if you have that little song in your head… Safelight repairs, Safelight replace? Well, give them a call and get a huge sticker-​shock of what you’re going to be out. And I did. OUCH!
It was so much I thought there had to be an alternative and thankfully, though Unilocal, I found Autoglass Masters. They were half of Safelight, but the best part was they are for real. Bill gave me a quote, told me to drop off my car, it’d take four hours, and true to his word, was on time, on quote, honest, and I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!!!
So if you can have your damage repaired, they can do it, and if you need new glass, they can do it too. Look no further than Autoglass Masters when you need a replacement or windshield repair.

DO NOT GO WITH THE CHEAPER COMPANY!
Here’s why:
When I was in college I cracked my windshield and decided to go with a hole in the wall place that would replace it for 130 $. Sounds too good to be true? It was.
Last month when Bill installed my new windshield, he discovered rust and corrosion on my car. The cheap shop didn’t use the proper materials and damaged my car.
So here is a lesson, the reason why a good shop will charge more is because the proper materials have a cost. For just a LITTLE more money, you get a piece of mind and proper installation.
Plus, Bill is so great to work with! He cracked some jokes with me and explained every detail to me when breaking down the cost. He even offered to put on new windshield wipers for me if I didn’t know how. A++++!!!

Unilocal reviews were correct, this place is awesome. Very nice people, great work. Dropped my car off one evening and picked it up the next morning.

We parked our car on Folsom Street in San Francisco and returned to find the driver side window smashed. Lucky for us, we had no valuables in the car but we now had the unenviable task of cleaning it up as best we could, driving home to San Jose and sorting out a repair promptly.
The next morning I called Safelite (a well renowned national chain) and received a quote for $ 340 — this seemed pretty outrageous. The next best option was a company that would drive out to fix it for me at my home, this was $ 240.
I turned to Unilocal again and found Autoglass Masters in San Jose, the reviews had me sold — I called Bill and he told me he could repair that day if I drove it over to him for almost $ 100 less than the cheapest quote I had found. Surely, I thought, there must be a catch?
There was no catch, Bill had the car ready within two hours after I arrived which involved sourcing the glass from a supplier on a day where traffic was horrendous (in fact he had to send his son to get it as the suppliers told him they couldn’t deliver due to the traffic). They vacuumed the broken glass meticulously and the replacement glass quality, fit and finish was stellar.
After that Bill took the time to educate me on preventing further break-​ins, and ways to secure personal belongings in our car. He sympathized that after someone breaks in to your car, you feel vulnerable and are at risk of being taken advantage of from shops who know you’ll pay any price to get it fixed and forget about it. His walls are strewn with cards from those thankful of how he handled their repairs so quickly with great care, understanding, and at a fair price.
He and his staff are true and honest gents — I wish there were more businesses like this. It’s how it should be.

Whoa!!! The service and workmanship from Bill were unbelievable. I recently got a rock chip on my newly Porsche windshield, it was about half an inch long and it bugged the hell out of me. Saw all the good review and decided to take my car to Bill for a repair. Made an appointment and arrived 2 days later. Bill started working on my car immediately, and after 30mins, I will have to look for the chip. Yes, the scar is there but it is hardly noticeable, and Bill explained to me what he had done for the repair.
Again, Bill is honest with great service and workmanship!!! Highly recommended!!!

Crack my Toyota 4 Runner windshield driving behind a truck a few weeks ago. The crack started to spread a few days ago. Bill was the 3^rd person that i called for a quote and an appointment. He was friendly on the phone and gave me the best deal in town. I told him that I woud be paying cash. I called the other place to cancelled the appointment & got the same offer that Bill gave me but with a cheap glass. That was surprising since it’s a $ 43 off plus $ 20 mentioned about Unilocal.I still decided to go with Bill since he seemed honest from the beginning. I brought the car in at 11am and picked up at 3pm on the same day i called. Bill also take the time to give me good advice about windshield wipers. Bill did a great job. Now, my wife can feel safe driving the car.

I had a crack that ran the length of my windshield. I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla. I went with Autoglass Masters because of all the great reviews. Everyone was very friendly and the windshield replacement looks perfect.

I used Bill at Autoglass Masters because of the great reviews. I had to have a side window on our Mazda3 replaced due to a recent breakin.
Bill was checking his vendors for a quote and I told him I prefer OEM. Bill called and ordered the part from Mazda.
Part arrived Wed and I made an appointment for today. Dropped off car at 8am and Bill called that car was done at 11:30am.
Awesome, OEM part and his expertise and you can’t tell that the window was replaced. Thanks Bill

It is my sincere wish that I had never had the chance to get to know Bill. But seeing as luck is not on my side, and I’ve had my windshield cracked twice in the last 6 months, I’ve had ample opportunity to visit with Bill and get to know him.
First off — this man is a master of his craft, and he cares about the work he does. You hear it in the way he explains the solutions for your glass problems, you sense it in the care he puts into the installation, and you can feel the pride he takes in the finished product.
On my first visit, I opted to have an aftermarket windshield installed. After I picked up my car, over the next few days, I noticed an optical aberration in the lower right corner of the windshield. There was enough distortion that straight lines were going curvy/​wonky, and it was one of those once-you-see-it-you-can’t-unsee-it things. It was starting to seriously distract me from driving, and I was at times getting borderline nauseous.
I bring it back to Bill, and we sit and he tries to see what I’m seeing, but he doesn’t see it. But bless the man! He said, and I quote, «Well, if you’re not happy, then I’m not happy. I’ll make it right.» Even though he couldn’t spot the problem, he took me at my word and replaced my glass. Later that day, when I went to pick up my car, he said that he finally spotted the aberration, and agreed with me on the severity of the problem. But I was really glad that he was willing to switch out the glass even before he could see the problem.
On my second visit (I said I had bad luck, didn’t I?) I was hesitant about using aftermarket glass again, but this time I was going through insurance, who lied about covering OEM glass (but that’s another story), so I had no choice. Well, Bill remembered the problem I had last time, and went through extra trouble to make sure the glass he got this time was top quality. Bill actually had to wait for a second piece of glass, because the supplier noticed a defect on the first piece and wouldn’t send it, because the supplier knew Bill’s standards and knew he wouldn’t accept the glass. How’s that for having a good reputation for caring for quality?
Anyways, as I write this review, I have been happy as a clam with my new windshield, and absolutely glad I’ve come to know Bill as a true auto glass master.

My car got broken into and I needed my window replaced ASAP! Called in to get a quote and the price was very reasonable!
Window was replaced within an hr, looked brand new! Great job, hopefully i wont’t have to come back anytime soon =)

Bill fixed a rock chip/​crack on my 2014 X5. He gave me an honest evaluation on what he can do and what to expect. The chip was near the edge of glass so it was a little tricky. In the end, it wasn’t perfect, but it was exactly how he told me it would turn out. It was about 75% better aesthetically, which was acceptable. Hard to notice, but if you look close, you can still see it, just like Bill said.
I waited about 15 minutes for Bill and his son to finish up another BMW. It took about 20 minutes for mine. Cost was $ 50. I drove away very satisfied.
