one of the best boba places I’ve had. simply put. the owner is a great and welcoming guy. the menu brings you a variety of choices from fresh brewed tea, to calamari and even an açaí bowl! if you’re planning to visit here, please try one of their BFresh drinks or your favorite milk tea with their cooked grass jelly! the place offers you free games and a nice little area with couches to relax and spend some time with friends, and yes, there is wifi. I ordered the passion fruit drink(BCalm) and an açaí bowl, since I am from Brazil and wanted to have a little of a Vietnamese Brazilian fusion, and it was without a doubt 5 star quality.

I was really blown away by this place ! They offer so much variety and the quality of their milk tea is great; you can smell the tea flavor and the grass jelly is made in-store– not canned. The store owner is also extremely courteous and friendly. He seems to always give samples and suggestions for new customers(try their white pearl!!) He gave us a discount of buy 2 get one free with an addition 15% off the snack selection for New Years! Score !! Their snacks are also really good. Definitely try the calamari head when you have the chance! It’s crunchy and well-seasoned. Come here! It’s worth trying out!

3.5– Not your average Boba spot. BFresh offers you a yummy, heaLthier form of the sugary drinks that you’re normaLLy used to. They offer aLL naturaL beverages with reaL fruit, chia seeds, popping boba, and absoLuteLy NO corn syrup. We ordered: BMine– Strawberry BGreen– KaLe, Kiwi, & Green AppLe First impression with my first sip: this stuff tastes pLain. ExtremeLy HEALTHY&PLAIN. I was surprised that it wasn’t jam packed with aLL that sugar and the taste of tea stood out. Tea was steeped weLL and wasn’t bitter Like some Locations. YAY! I normaLLy have my drinks 25−50% sweetened @ other boba Locations and even then they can stiLL be sweeter than I had hoped. The more I drank it, the more I began to enjoy it. If you’re into that extra sweet stuff, this BFresh isn’t for you. I enjoyed the drinks but my fiancé wasn’t much of a fan. The taste of reaL tea doesn’t entice him the way artificiaL fLavorings do. HopefuLLy I’ll make a return to try out some of their snacks. The pictures posted on Unilocal Look amazing.

* Hidden gem in the far corner of this plaza! Can’t find parking? Park in the adjacent parking lot and walk over — not far at all * My faves(I like richer/nuttier flavors): Roasted barley milk tea and Pandan Mung bean milk tea with no pearls * Royal milk tea is sweeter than the Lotus milk tea * Super kind owner(Kelvin) provides samples and suggestions. * Low key boba shop with plenty of finger foods/snack options. * Was craving a good tea while waiting for my dentist appointment and this hit the spot! Definitely would swing by again :)

First time trying Bfresh, the owner gave out free samples to which one I liked. Cute and warm place. Awesome service from the owner.

The owner is supremely friendly and knowledgeable about his product. He can tell you which drinks tend to be more sweet, sour, or less sweet. My friend ordered the BSpecial: calamansi, passion fruit, strawberry, and preserved plum I believe. We shared a fried fish combo as well. The drink was a rather eclectic mix of flavors that did not taste like any one thing in particular, except for the finishing note of preserved plum at the end which was interesting. The fried fish was surprisingly tender and good, not greasy at all. The fries were seasoned with a kind of cajun seasoning and quite crisp. BFresh really strives to bring something new and exciting to the field of bubble teas, which it does! No other place I’ve seen has such original combinations, nor do they emphasize the health benefits of such drinks. The flashing lights get a bit distracting, and the sofa seats are deceptively uncomfortable. With so many other tea spots in this plaza, I’d have to try them all before coming back to BFresh, just to get a lay of the land. I wish BFresh all the best in their business!

I AMINLOVEWITHTHISPLACE!!! ITIS A VIETNAMESETAKEONTRADITIONALBUBBLETEAANDITSLAYSBECAUSEOFTHEUNIQUELOTUSFLOWERANDLEAFFORTHETEABASEASWELLASTHELUXURYROCKCRYSTALSREPLACINGTHECHEAPSATURATEDARTIFICIALCORNSYRUP. THETEABASE This is one of my newest favorite tea places in the Silicon Valley for its healthy options and unique tea base that you can’t find anywhere else – the Vietnamese lotus tea leaf!!! As a self-proclaimed tea bar connoisseur, you can really taste the difference because your tongue and taste buds dance in the delightful floral notes that are markedly different than just a regular leafy tea aftertaste!!! It’s like your mouth is bathing in Aphrodite’s and PALACE!!! The tea is true to its brand –taste of nature & BFresh!!. It is a very refreshing taste that is light, flowery, serene, and calming, significantly different from the stronger notes found in traditional green or black teas you would find everywhere else. THESWEETENERS Additionally, the lotus tea maintains its freshness and lightness because there are no overpungent or strong corn syrups– only QUALITYROCKSUGAR(like the ones you find in Teavana). You can really taste the difference because your throat isn’t over satiated with the corn syrup. I have never found any place that uses lotus tea leaf and rock sugar – I am addicted! TROPICALSNACKS They also have acai bowls which are hard to find anywhere in the South Bay and east side San Jose(though I can’t vouch for them since I haven’t tried them, but having them as an option is fantastic!!) ASIANFUSIONNEWAMERICANVIETNAMESEMODERNFRIEDCHICKENWINGS But if you also have friends who don’t care for healthy stuff, the fried chicken is DELICIOUS with four different options that have great Vietnamese influences: dried shrimp & onion, tamarind, lemongrass, and fish sauce. GREENWAFFLEWITHCHIA This is EVERYTHING!!! Chia seeds to help blood glucose secretion and help with prolonging the sensation of satiation. The Pandan leaf is another Fabulous SOUTHEASTASIANSTAPLE!!! They have reinvented it marvelously! Come here if you are looking for unique, healthy, fun, flavorful and quality teas! The teas are sweet, but you don’t even have to worry about things being too sugary! Do not expect your usual sweet Starbucks teas or creamy and rich milk bubble teas – this is not the place for those DIABETICDRINKS!!!

Hidden gem! At least for me. Not sure why I’ve never tried this place sooner. My first time was several weeks ago, I walked in with my bf and was immediately greeted by a man that I assume to be the owner. He was super friendly and we asked him a bunch of questions about the drinks. Everything is really fresh and some of the drinks have real fruits and veggies. Healthy boba?! I’m sold. I got the lotus milk tea(less sweet) with grass jelly and it was yummy. My bf got the BGreen with zero sweetness. It wasn’t bad, but had a little too much stuff in there for me. Like there were these little boba balls in there filled with juice that pops in your mouth. I came back yesterday and tried their BNature and I have to say that’s my current favorite. It’s artichoke with grass jelly and felt very light and refreshing. I’ll have to come back again and try all there other stuff. I’ve heard the wings and popcorn fish is good! I would definitely recommend this place and you can ask them for samples of most of their milk tea! Try it if you want something a bit healthier and different!

With so many Boba tea places in the area, and especially in this mall alone there’re at least 5. It is usually hard to decide which one is the best, but not in this case. Bfresh clearly is my choice for the top spot. I love it uniqueness. My sister and I get the bCool every time we’re here. Just like the name it’s fresh and cool. All drinks are sweeten with rock sugar, not corn syrup so the sweetness is more gentle to the taste.

I was very iffy trying this place at first especially their specialty drink BGreen with kiwi and apple. But, omg. It is so delicious! I switched out the popping boba for white(agar) boba instead. I also reduced the sugar to 50%, the drink tasted so refreshing. I wanted to come back the next day to order it again. I also ordered the pandan mung bean drink to try and that was a bit sweet for me even with half sugar. It was also chunky and tasted more like a dessert than a drink. They do use a different type of tea(lotus tea), which might not be suitable for all taste buds. It’s tea mixed with lotus roots which my mom claims it suppose to be really good for you. There’s about 4 – 5 boba shops in the same plaza(way too many competition!) but this place is the best of them, in my opinion.

ACAIACAIACAIACAI! Look Ma, I found Acai in East San Jose! After moving to the Bay from Hawaii, I have been on this continual quest to find good acai. There have been some hits and misses. This falls somewhat in the middle, more on the hit side than the miss. The acai here is thicker, I’m not sure what they blend it with but I don’t think it’s apple juice, which is good for me because usually apple juice makes it too sweet. I do know that they definitely blend it with frozen fruits like strawberries and blueberries because I found some frozen chunks of those in there… hopefully next time they can blend it to a smoother consistency. The granola/honey balance was good, and they do top it with fresh strawberries and bananas. One recommendation I have is to offer multiple sizes. They only have one and it’s very small(12 oz)— good snack size($ 3.95), but if you wanted an acai bowl for lunch like I do sometimes, it’s not enough. It would also be great if they could offer bowls with different fruit toppings. But I’m not complaining, because basic is always good. I also tried the POPCORNFISH! Why haven’t I had this before??? It was surprisingly quite yummy. And their DIPPINGSAUCE!!! It’s like a citrusey-sweet-aioli. SOGOOD. They didn’t give me enough with my takeout order! MOARSAUCEPLEEZ. Not your ordinary tartar sauce(THANKGOD cuz I hate that stuff). I will definitely be back for the acai and the popcorn fish, and may have to change my review to a 5 after I try their chia seed drinks :)

I received phenomenol service, although I was the only one there. The cashier made me some samples just so I could try the drinks so I really appreciated it. The«Fresh» drinks are just okay to me. I tried the Green one with kiwis and the yellow one with passion fruit. It just does not WOW me the way I like. The Lotus Milk Tea is pretty good. It has a unique flavor to it. The Green milk tea that has Mung bean is liked a lot by my bf. I thought it was a bit grainy for my taste. THEFOOD is what catches my interest. I’ll go back and let you know. :P

I REALLY wanted to like this place :( There are so many boba options in this area so I commend the owner for being unique. Bfresh is located towards the end of Paloma Plaza next to Banh Xeo Ngon. Parking is kind of a nightmare in this mall so beware! Their drinks are«natural» & you can definitely tell in their specialty«B» drinks. They all come with fresh fruit, chia seeds & popping boba. I got variations of the BGreen(kale, kiwi & green apple), BMine(strawberry) & BFree(lychee). They all were watered down and didn’t taste much like tea. It’s a nice gesture to pack so many things into a drink which makes it sort of like che but lighter/more refreshing. The owner was so nice, he welcomed me in & made a few suggestions. He also offered a sample of the lotus milk tea but I told him I can’t have milk. He then gave me a sample of the pandan mung bean drink & I was so surprised how nice it was. The blended mung beans give it a somewhat milky/sandy texture though & it’s quite sweet but I expected that. The girl at the register said it was happy hour(I came in at 5:45PM) so they gave me double stamps &15% off. I now see the Unilocal tip which says HH is 20% off so I feel kind of gypped… But whatever. Sadly it was a one time try for me. Nice concept but it’s not my cup of tea.

I’m neither a big boba nor coffee drinker so I like what this place has to offer. They pride themselves on being organic and BFresh reminds me of a more diversified juice bar. So far, I’ve tried the BGreen and mung bean drinks as well as their acai bowls. The BGreen drink includes a blend of kale, kiwi and green apple. It tasted fresh and energizing and I enjoyed the bits of fruit in there! BWare– it’s more on the watery side but that doesn’t bother me. Only complaint is that I was not a fan of the bursting boba pieces and would do without them the next time I order it. One thing I was excited/surprised to see on their menu is the pandan mung bean drink. It reminded me of my FAV mung bean drink in SoCal at 7leaves. This one doesn’t taste quite the same – as it’s more powdery and sweet than I’d like but that’s not to say it’s a bad dupe! As for the acai bowls, they were yummy. I don’t know of many places in the area that offer this treat so I’m glad they do!!! The price point is $ 3.95 each, which is pretty reasonable considering that a cup of ice-cream at BR probably costs the same. I personally prefer the original over the mango bowl! Another pro is that they have a stamp card. Apparently 4−6PM is when they have their happy hour for stamps but I’m not sure if this is in effect… I just learned of it and should have gotten 6 stamps for the 3 drinks I ordered but only got 2? Not sure what kind of math that is but I didn’t check until I got home so that’s my bad too. Also, they don’t honor the ’30% off your purchase’ Unilocal check-in offer anymore. Or the 20% offer anymore even though there’s a banner hanging outside their store front(probably should take that down). Stamp hijinkery aside, this is a place worth trying.

BFresh — A Taste of Nature(As it states on their website) «Everybody Bcool. You… Bcool.» — Probably would have been a cool slogan to use for this place. BFore you take your BEezy home after dinner stop by BFresh. Bhind Silver Creek in the plaza Byond Tap X… I can go on and on with this but I’ll stop. I referred this place to some friends and got mixed reviews. Some do not like the taste because the drinks contain popping boba, while others like myself really enjoy it. For me it’s refreshing and a step away from your typical boba concoctions. Tips: Check in on Unilocal and get 30% off your order. Perfect incentive for a first try am I right? They have one of those cards that where you punch enough circles out you get a free drink. They have a wide selection of Bdrinks to try from and YES you can ask for samples! Here are my favorites(that I’ve tried so far) in order: 1. BGreen 2. BCalm 3. BFree 4. Bblue Note: Don’t get BFresh it’s boring and bland. Their popcorn fish isn’t good either. Skip it. BEasy yall.
