Bill A., Owner of California Fence, installed a side gate at my home. He arrived right on time, 8 am, and finished about 2 hours later. He did a great job and cleaned up the area. The old gate was original, built in 1969. He showed me how thin the boards were at the time compared to what he installed. What a difference! This gate should last forever. I am very happy I found Bill on Unilocal and intend on using Bill and Unilocal in the future. Gwenlyn K.

had a «doggie fence» installed today — aka a normal fence with a door to keep the doggies pooping in the dog run and not all over the backyard. The fence is gorgeous. We also had our two other fences fixed — they dragged on the ground. New posts and voila, they actually swing! Took about half a day and all was done. And price was reasonable and competitive. Highly recommend!

Bill is a good, honest man and did a great job on our fence. We have used him three times and looks like we are about to use him for the 4th time along with our neighbors for a friendly neighbor fence install.
Shows up on time, works hard, gives a fair price and does quality work.

Bill provided us a very reasonable quote and did excellent work. He started work on time everyday and always showed up when he said he would. This is rare in our experience. He paid close attention to detail, made excellent suggestions and our fence looks great!

I needed two fence posts replaced to restore my wooden gate to working order.
Working with Bill was great. We arranged a time for the quote. They needed to push the quote a day and were courteous to call early and arrange.
Bill did the job, as promised. He and his teammate took care in his work and made the gate look fantastic.
This is as it should be — quote — fair price — work on time — great quality.

Bill did a good job on our fence when we have the major storm in San Jose in Dec 11. found him on line. Came out instantly and quote us a very good rate. Great job, great price. Very honest man — I would recommend anytime for Bill. You could not find a better trust worthy person than him. Called Sierra Lumber, NOBODY ever show up or return the phone call. Don’t bother — call Bill next time. He cleaned up the yard etc. Gave him another job on the other fence. Quote us a very good rate. Don’t waste your time checking on others. He is THE GUY.
