Was excited to try this place out but was very disappointed. The food tastes very bland, and not very spicy considering we asked for medium. Also very greasy.

We were placed near the entrance despite availability of booths. The server refused to reseat us on being requested even though lots of booths were available. The food was good. The quantity was a bit less for the price. The meat was well cocked.

The family that own and run the Caspian are really nice. I really like them. Had lunch at the Caspian yesterday, with my daughter. So delicious were the shawarmas, lentil soup and lamb kabobs, I loved every bite! Finished it off with baklava… I want to go again today.

Love this place. Quiet but fun. Food is great and the service is wonderful. The staff is attentive but most of all, I’ve never had a bad meal here.

Quabili Palow… It sounds strange, but it tastes amazing, familiar, but at the same time, like nothing I have ever tasted. I think it is Pakistani. In any case it is a spicy, slightly sweet, and aromatic rice dish. In any case, this is a nice family restaurant with some really exotic but delicious food and a classy atmosphere. All the food we ordered tasted great. I heard the lamb shanks are really good, as well as the fried potato appetizer.

Just randomly Unilocaled a place in the Silver Creek area and this popped up so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try! Pros: The food is pretty good! Not like«WOWAMAZINGBESTFOOD I EVERHAD» but it’s not bad forsure. It’s a quiet small little place that’s very cute and I liked the vibe. The service was great too! Our server, I didn’t catch his name, was super friendly and topped off our water an appropriate amount of times. Cons: It’s a little pricey for the size. My boyfriend got a chicken gyro for $ 6.49, which isn’t bad, but my lamb kabob was $ 13.49 and it was pretty small. It only came with 4 pieces of lamb, quite a bit of rice, and some salad. For $ 13.49, I was expecting more. Overall: This is a cute quaint place with food that’s not bad and great service! I hope to come by again and try more things on the menu.

The food was just passable for me. The chicken was okay, the beef was dry, the bread was fine, but the hummus was the worst I have ever had. In my opinion overpriced as well. One of the wait staff was friendly. The other just seemed as though he was checked out. He was a bit short with me, was using his cell phone, and made this snyde comment when I was talking to him. It’s already out of the way for most people, hidden within a suburb and a strip mall type structure against the foothills. Just before the gated community. It has a bit of an awkward layout. When you walk in, you are greeted by other customer’s tables and the counter area where normally someone would be standing is in the corner against the wall. So the layout doesn’t have any type of waiting area for or for those who are picking up takeout(witnessed one girl just standing around). The bread was probably the best part. This was my second time here but likely will not return.

I was at the roommate’s house in SJ and didn’t want to wander far to get food. Curry sounded like a good idea, so I decided to drop by Caspian Village on Saturday, May 2nd around 7:30pm to grab some take out. *Bolani($ 8.49): turnovers filled with potatoes, onions and other spices Taste wise, this was kind of bland. Couldn’t really taste the onions or spices. Just a hint of potatoes. The sauces were good though and one of them gave this a nice kick. I wish I knew I could get a half order of this. If you’re getting food just for yourself, a half order may be smarter. *Chicken makani(butter chicken) $ 10.99: creamy chicken thighs cooked with a variety of spices served with basmati rice and plated with a garnish salad Another dish that was kind of bland. I’m used to my curries having lots of bold flavors. This was very mild. The salad was standard and the rice was a good foundation for the curry. I know this place is next to a senior community, so I noticed a lot of patrons were older than me. Maybe that’s why the flavors were more subdued. Too bad cuz I really love strong flavors when it comes to Mediterranean food. Note: Remember to check in as you get $ 1 off any order over $ 10 for a Unilocal check in.
