I tried this place a few times. Food is good, and the staff is very friendly and nice.

Not impressed. The Dolmas were very good, but the Chicken Schwarma Salad was dry and didn’t include much chicken. Service was okay, but they were not overly friendly or welcoming.

I did a takeout from this place and I was not disappointed. I ordered 5 entrees, a side of chicken kabob skewer, and a gyro sandwich. The vegetarian plate(falafel, dolmas, hummus, baba ganoush) was very good and I really liked the chicken kabob since they did not overcook it. The chicken swerma, I thought was a bit on the dry side but was tasty nevertheless. The entire order was packed well for takeout, including the pita. The owner was very friendly and offered to help me take the order to the car a few times, although I was able to manage it. It was a nice gesture regardless. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of the ingredients is good. Portion size is adequate. I will be going back and eat in next time.

We love this place. Food and customer service is as good as it gets. We go there at least once a month and everything we’ve tried has been great. Family owned business and they are so nice.

Stopped in to get some takeout… when i saw the pita being warmed in the microwave instead of on a grill, I decided to pass…

Was heading over to Carl’s for a burger and saw this place in the same complex. I thought, why have a burger(which I rarely eat) when I can have a Falafel! So I proceeded to the front counter were a nice older gentleman took my order. Easy enough, I also ordered their Lamb Kabob(love lamb). I waited for about 10min and received my food to go. The first thing I noticed was how light the bag was, considering I just spent $ 17.32 for one Falafel and one skewer(!) I got home and looked in the skewer box and there was 7 messily small pieces of over-cooked lamb. I even told them, cuz they asked, how I wanted the lamb cooked, I said medium-rare the rarer the better, he agreed. But mine was not only over-cooked but extremely tasteless and the portions couldn’t have weighted more than 5oz. Oh, they threw a few white onion slivers in there too. The Falafel was week as well, wrapped up like a burrito, it was mostly lettuce with very little Falafel and a few tomatoes inside, again pretty tasteless. I asked them for a take out menu, they said he forgot to print more, he directed me to the website, and that too, very useless and unprofessional. The only thing you all would like to know is: Would I go back… Nope, not at all.

I am so glad I found this super cute little restaurant in South San Jose! I went in for a to go order and was greeted by the friendly staff right away. My order was taken and not even 10 minutes later it was ready. This is awesom considering I went in just as the place was filling up for the lunch crowd. I ordered the falafel plate and was happy with the amount of food I got. My only complaint is that the falafel seemed a little too salty, thus the 4 star rating. I will certainly go back, however. This is a very convenient, cute restaurant and I wouldn’t mind trying other dishes out.

It was a lazy Saturday afternoon just past 1PM after my morning tennis, I was craving for some Middle Eastern cuisine — falafels and gyros are some of my personal favorites. As I used to live in Montréal(the New York of Canada) where there is a large population of Middle East decent — Lebanese and Jewish in particular, so I have developed a very demanding palate for the right flavors. Ever since having moved down to the Bay Area, I’ve never been able to find that unforgettable mouthwatering taste of gyros, until today… I drove by Orchrad Plaza and came across this little place called«Fusion Mediterranean Grill», so I decided to give it a try. My benchmark dishes for all Middle Eastern Cuisines are gyros and falafels… It was smothering in delicious white creamy sauces, the portion was extremely generous for its price. Without a doubt, this was THE best gyros I’ved ever tasted outside of Montréal, and definitely the Middle East. The dining area was well decorated with Middle Eastern flavors, it was very clean. One great sign is perhaps the cleanest restroom that you only see in major hotel chains, definitely a big plus in my book. But, most of all, it was the friednly service the owners provide. Just ask for Ramon and his lovely wife, his son Prince Andrew is sometimes in the restaurant as well — he is sooo cute and adorable. In all, if you are craving for some delicious homestyle authentic Middle Eastern food, come to Fusuion Mediterranean Grill. You won’t miss it, because it’s THE best in the San Francisco Bay Area — HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!!!

So Yummy! The Gyro wrap was delicious! Everything tasted so fresh. The service was great as well. Very friendly and engaging. I will defiantly be coming back to try some more stuff off the menu! The only downside is the price. I don’t think a simple lunch for 2 should cost more than $ 20.

I came here with my family for dinner. Was greeting and shown a table to sit down. There was some people inside the restaurant already and while glancing at the food on the other tables it looked good. My parents ordered the gyros plate and the beef shawarma and I ordered the chicken shawarma. Service was quick and convenient and everything came out fresh and warm. Took a bite into my food and everything tasted fresh and like home style cooking. Since the restaurant is family owned makes the place every better. The area is convenient with plenty of parking. Overall good service, atmosphere, food, and pricing will be back for more.

Meh, not really a huge fan of this place because they got our order wrong. We ordered 4 gyros, not the wraps. We wanted pita bread, not tortillas. In addition, the wraps we did get were kindadry in both the meat and tortilla component. They skimped on yogurt sauce too, which really didn’t help. But it has a general Mediterranean food taste and the workers were friendly(even if not very helpful). Overall, I wish they had gotten the order right and had more yogurt sauce in their wraps. Garlic fries were okay.

Did this place change owners? The reason I ask is because the magic is now gone. The hummus tastes store bought, the gyro meat was little giblets of meat instead of something that was shaved off, and the bread was really bland(I’ve had better at the grocery store). The salad was also noticeably different. The dressing was super bland with no spices. The only thing that was«okay» was the rice. Bummer. This use to be my favorite place to go but it’s now been taken off of that list.

I came here with a buddy of mine after I got some lamb cravings from thinking about my last meal at House of Falafel. I ordered a lamb gyro wrap with some garlic fries, some pita bread and hummus, falafels, and also got some dessert(baklava or something like that???). The lamb was realllllyyy tender, juicy, and had good flavor. Did I mention it was really tender? lol It seriously melts in your mouth. I just wish there was a little more of it but it didn’t bother me. Veggies were crisp and fresh. Garlic fries were bomb! Fresh garlic and they throw on some kind of spice that adds a little extra kick. Fries were crispy and not too oily. Hummus is made fresh by the owners and you can tell when you eat it. *thumbs up* Falafels were really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Flavor was great and had a nice kick to them after the initial bite. The dessert thingy definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. It was really flakey and the syrup or honey or whatever it is, was sweet but not overwhelming. The best thing about this restaurant is the service. It just changed ownership and has that«family owned» vibe, especially since they always have family there helping out duhhhhhh lol. Service was very attentive, and the lady(owner?) would check up on customers and talk to them whenever she had downtime.

I love this place. I had a couple of different friends suggest it! First of all, when you enter you are warmly greeted by the fantastic owner! Then you order, the food comes out timely, might I add, and to top it off… it’s fantastic! I’ve had my fair share of middle eastern food, having middle eastern friends etc. This place is wonderful, crispy fresh falafel, toubouli, marinated chicken and lamb! Yummy, need I say more?

We baptized our daughter a few weeks back and I wanted to have some Mediterranean food to feed everyone. I found these folks on Unilocal an am so glad that I did. We ordered lamb kabobs, salad and some falafels. The lady i spoke with(the owner I think) was super nice and friendly. I originally wanted to get some Tabouli, but she suggest that she make a nice Greek salad because it would be a lot cheaper this way to feed 15 people. When the food came we were more than impressed. First off, the food was delish and the salad that they made was perfect. Second, they gave us all generous portions of each dish which was more than enough for 15 people. Great food and great customer service = a winning restaurant.

I’ve been craving a good shawarma for the past 4 months. When I heard about this place, I was pretty excited. I had their beef shawarma, spicy ofcourse. I sat in my car, quivering with excitement, anxious to take that first bite. I finally did after 5 minutes, and I’m sorry to say, I was quite disappointed =/. The whole thing was falling apart and the meat was bland. Not to mention the yogurt sauce was only on one end of the shawarma O_O. It wasn’t spicy at all. Instead they included a spicy sauce separately to make it spicy(I wasn’t too fond of it). 3 stars because it was a little pricey, and also because I haven’t been this disappointed since I found out that the hot asian I met in LA was actually a dude. But I might come back to try their Lamb Gyro warp :)

I had the beef shawerma and it tasted great and was ready super quick. Waitress/owner was extremely friendly. She threw a free order of fries into our meal and shaved some cash off the bill for no reason! I’ve found my new go-to Mediterranean joint in the south SJ area.

I’m giving three stars based on my first visit today. I went in on my lunch break to order a «wrap» although I’m use to a Gyro when going to Mediterranean restaurant. Anywho, I ordered the chicken wrap and they asked if I wanted it spicey, which was a nice treat since I love spicey food. The wrap was like a thin pita tortilla and I didn’t mind it, it was actually pretty good. One thing I do like about Gyros is that the veggies are fresh and seperate from cooked food. Since this was a wrap everything was kinda smooshed together and it was hard to get the full flavor of each ingredient. I would try this place again, although they do run on the pricey side. I used my debit card as credit and they charged me 50cents but did inform me of the charge. it was 8 bucks out the door just for the wrap. *Service was good also*
