Chanel Counter

The service is very horrible! Came in on a weekday to avoid the crowd. I was looking to purchase foundation and other makeup, I waited for a while and no one was coming up to me. I saw one lady but she was helping another customer, so I waited. I then noticed two of the girls talking to each other and not one bothered to help me. I got annoyed, so I went up to them and asked them to grad the items I needed. The girl had bad attitude and was not friendly. I am normally a friendly person who is understanding, but the service was horrible. I was not happy at all with the service and will not go back to the location. I wish I could give a ZERO star review.

I v been using items and preparations Chanel for years,
and I am very pleased with clothing and handbags, ‚
but in the last few month I noticed that they were very poor quality cosmetics, for example pencils for lips and eyebrows are so bad, constantly crumbling and must be pointy, I can not be even a month, and before I lasted for several months, also perfumes hour or two after the application goes to seed completely not feel the smell on clothes, lipsticks that claim to have a permanent 24-​hour slips off in abaut 2 – 3 hours, powders that I have used before are not even close to those offered today, I do not know what happens, prices are constantly rising and the quality worse and worse

Where do I begin. Chanel is classic, timeless, and has an intense unparalleled legacy to any other line. That’s why the most amazing people work there as well. It’s like a generational requirement for Chanel to have the most upstanding employees. I ventured near the counter to catch a glimpse of the timeless goodies. I was scared because someone always seems to call me out and beckon me into my trap of impulsive shopping and makeup weakness. Once you get me in that chair, it’s all over. Goodbye budget. Goodbye impulse control. Just goodbye all rational thought period.
Well, someone happened to get me in that chair… and it wasn’t just anyone. It was the manager who apparently is the grand master flex and head honcho of the counter as well as makeup pro who got selected as one out of 5 who got sent to LA or NYC to work on makeup technique. Nicki I believer her name was. Nikki.
She was friendly, gregarious, professional, and loving. Black seems to be the main color theme there as everyone that works there has dark black hair or almost everyone. It works because black is a timeless elegant color. It works with everything. It brings out color. Nikki, Nicki gave me amazing break down and thorough consultation as we could call it from cleanser, moisturizer, to application of foundation, blush, highlights, eye shadow, liner, the works. It was like fireworks for me. I had no idea that Chanel carries an amazing high quality line of cosmetics and facial products. They didn’t stop at shoes and suits. they had to go all the way.
The facial milk that helps remove makeup is very soothing and gentle. The toner is also amazing. Of course Chanel has one of a kind nail polishes and eye shadows and just about everything. I do a lot of research and splurge on makeup and skin care and I do feel very highly and differently about my Chanel products. It’s high quality. I know it’s Chanel, but the line speaks for itself. It’s no joke amazing. I feel glowing and soft.
Nicki gave me the time of my life. Then the second time I went there 2 months later, I was definitely screwed as I realized (surpise. no shock here) I wanted more. The foundations are incredible. I don’t even know where to begin. All I knnow is that I’m stuck. Very, very stuck. I was helped by a wonderful woman who had a Pompadour and is brunette and taught me some wonderful tricks about how to apply blush the right way and bring out my eyes and how people look at your face a certain way based on eye makeup. Very good information to know.
In general, I clap my hands for this counter. It is the center of attention, in the center of the counter section, and pretty much no one can compete. It’s just pointless to try. Worth the money because dahlin,’ it’s your skin.

Although I’m still day dreaming about some day getting my black caviar Chanel purse, for now I will simply enjoy my Chanel beauty products! Came here to try their newest foundation… I love it! The girls were very nice and knowledgeable… then I came in for their big beauty counter party at Nordstroms and got my makeup done by a great Chanel MUA… she did a fab job and I picked up some powder in an adorable case! Love the products, not the price! Lol =]

I love this place because they have everything and anything that I would need at the mall. Well, ok maybe not everything, but I get my Chanel makeup here and they have extremely knowledgeable Chanel ladies that work here (those ladies are actual students from Chanel school). I would recommend either Lee or Christine because they are super nice, friendly and knowledgeable and would love to help you make your skin looks great. My skin looks very good after using all the skin care products that were suggested to me, but I mean with a merely $ 300 every 3 months or so I better look great right? On the negative side of Nordstroms is that you would only see well-​above average customers here so they are a little more on the snobbier side.
