This review is for a birthday party held at this location on 6⁄8. It was hosted by an employee there named Kim and this review is basically for her because she was so awesome. My neice was having a bday party and Kim was so attentive the entire time. She managed to keep the entire party space clean of trash, swept, all of our food out on time and all with a really big smile. She even noticed that we forgot to bring candles and brought some before anyone else noticed. I never saw her stop working. It ran really effortlessly and she was really great with the kids even during the most awkward birthday song and video that Chuck E. Cheese has come up with. I even asked if she was the manager because she just made everything run seamlessly. She told me she had worked there five years. Chuck E. Cheese, you are highly under utilizing her as an employee because she was great!

Its my kid’s first time to go to CE’C. My kids were all smiles for that camera which was supposed to printout a pic of them and CE’C. Well guess what? Its outta paper. Nothing came out of the printer and nobody was on the floor to help us. Wasted tokens. Not to mention another ride was out of service and doesnt spit the token/s back. Business huh?

Attended a toddlers bday party at this location. Arrived at 11am on a Monday and had the place to ourselves. My daughter had so much fun playing the games and rising on the rides and climbing on the play structure. Pizza was decent. The kids weren’t scared of the giant rodent so that’s a plus. It was pretty clean for a place that serves food and has a kids play area. They don’t charge an entrance fee yay! Plenty of parking in their private lot.

We had a birthday party(Earliest Time Slot) here on the morning of 1÷3÷2015. This location seems to take customer service as a high priority. Our tables were already setup when we arrived and our party hostess/coordinator, Kim, was very attentive and courteous. The remaining staff were also very helpful and polite. The facility was clean, and the salad bar items were fresh and well organized. Our party food order came out on time and at once(7 Pizzas and 2 Party Trays), and was surprisingly good. Our party experience was stress free and have exceeded our expectations.

Clean, fun place for young kids under age 12. Lots of fun games and most games require one token. With a coupon available in San Jose newspaper, 100 tokens for $ 20. Also, there is a slide with attached 2nd story tunnel that kids can climb and explore. The tunnel is not extensive but it’s enough for some physical fun.

Super clear store and vigilant staff. The salad bar can be a scary place, but it was decent. Wings and pizza were also good. Happy birthday to an amazing 5 year old! There was plenty of parking. For those who are not so inclined with food in CEC, there is a starbucks and taqueria across the street. Note: adults can only purchase 1 beer at a time, and they have slim pickings.

Extremely loud and very unprofessional employees. My daughter won 200 tickets(basically worth a toy that would cost $ 2) and the machine ran out of tickets. The employee came to load it up and just said«sorry» when we asked about the remaining about 100 tickets. Then picking up the prizes for the tickets that we had we had to wait for 10 minutes for an employee to show up.

Love this location! They are pretty clean, the staff is friendly and fixes the machines quickly when there is an issue and the pizza is actually pretty good. We tried the new thin crust and they gave us 100 free tickets! Also had a bday party here and they do a great job. My daughter loved it!

Took my son here for his Kindergarten graduation as a treat. I was so disappointed in this place. The place was dead on a Friday night which would be good if the games worked or were worth playing. Unfortunately a lot of the games were broken. Also the variety of games was lacking. Total games about 40 — 45. Better to go to the chuck off of Tully. At least they have games that work.

Today my phone was returned to me that was stolen 16 months ago. I just want to say thanks to the wonderful 16 yr old who found it and took the time to find out who it belonged to. He didn’t have to do that but I’m grateful that he did. It got me back to thinking there are good people in the world who know that stealing is wrong and have morals. His parents should be proud.

Whitney was the best party hostess, she was friendly, happy, attentive and efficient. My child was so happy with his birthday and we had a great time too.

When someone invites me to the Chuck E. Cheese in SJ, I always assume it’ll be at the one in the east side because that one is epically big. However, when we were invited to a bday party here, I was immediately disappointed. Immediately upon entering, you can see how depressing of a place this is. We found our party and were served pizza. That pizza was some of the most pathetic pizza I’ve ever had the displeasure of even tasting. As for the games, there was such a limited selection. When it was time for the birthday girl’s cake cutting, the party host and Chuck E. Cheese were so depressing. There was no energy in their performance and they looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there. In comparison to the one on the east side this place kinda sucks.

Well we would come to this one because this one was clean and there was not alot of ghetto peeps to be 100. It’s been 5 months since the last time i came back and im highly disappointed its dirty and the bathroom smells like fish and urine is all over the toilets and floors its just super filthy, i mean i felt like i could catch a disease. This will be my last time at this location. And i might sound like im being dramatic but you would too if you seen what i see.

New games pretty spacious inside and I think they changed how they make their pizza because it actually tastes good. The kids love it here .This location seems ghetto(could just be the liquor stores and gas station). At night the parking lot lights don’t all work and weirdos hang in the parking lot. There is always someone stamping you in and checking to ensure you leave with the child(or children) that belong to you. This is the second time I’ve had to wait 5 – 10 to get service from the front(did they all go home?) But with us coming at non peak times I’m sure that’s why.

Haven’t been back to Chuck E. Cheese’s for 10+years, I thought it was much better than i had imagined. My memories about CC were pretty much chaos and dirtiness. But at this location we went today with our nieces, it was pretty organized and clean. The game machines were pretty new, too. And I am surprised and glad that the game machines were not greasy and dirty with kids’ finger prints from eating pizzas. ;-D. I was pretty skeptical about touching anything there, but it actually wasn’t too bad. The kids had great time playing games. We got pepperoni pizza, and it wasn’t bad. Service was clear and quick. Look for coupons on their website, it doesn’t save you much, but better than nothing.

Came here today for a kiddie bday party & I thought it was great! I only saw one thing out of order — one of the fountain drinks. Everything else, games, machines, etc were fully functioning. The salad bar was on point, the pizza was good, and my toddler had a blast! They do have other games that I’ve never seen at any other chuck e cheese, but it is a little smaller, which is perfect for my toddler. The party hostess was sweet & nice, the bday party moved along, it was good overall. It was chaotic, but I was there on a Saturday afternoon during peak hours, it was totally expected. Good day at Chuck E Cheese!

I haven’t been back inside a Chuck E Cheese since I was a little kid! This place is smaller than the other ones but it’s still the same regardless. I always like the sketch machine but it was broken and it ate our token! The playground is small and looks a little sketchy. And the food is expensive! For a medium pizza(looks more like a small) it is $ 10 without toppings. It’s $ 2 for every topping. I got the pepperoni and there’s literally 7 pepperoni on my pizza. Not worth it at all. The salad bar looks not too bad though, but I’m pretty sure everything came from a can! I guess it’s fine to come here and play games but don’t have dinner here!

Pros: A play area(tunnel system with plastic car/overhead areas to climb into). Our son loves this. Food, not bad but not so great either. Super friendly staff though and efficient service every time we’ve been. Cons: Tiny location. Not too much selection with the games and toys. Also, do NOT, I repeat… do NOT go on weekends or Fridays. If you do, you will soon know the definition of a zoo. It’s crazy and overcrowded!

Celebrated our boys 5th bday here today with friends from their schools. Party and Hostess were ready and all set up for our arrival, very clean all around the place(including bathrooms), hand sanitizer dispensers on the wall throughout the place, friendly employees, chicken BBQ pizza and Hawaiian were actually good, and the boys and their friends had a blast celebrating with Chuck E! The manager also checked in to make sure we were all set and asked if we needed anything. 25 kids and 27 adults attended. Games were in working and clean order. We would book again. It was awesome being able to talk with party guest, relax, and not have to clean up! Kids were exhausted by the time we got home. I do have to take off 1 star as the AC needs to be turned up. Got pretty warm/hot near the play structure area.

Dude, it is Chuck E Cheese– it is a food place based on a RAT! So, yea, we don’t eat here… ever. Even at bday parties.(Yea, I am that mom). But, it is Chuck E Cheese– it is a right of passage for all San Jose children! I only go on a weekday(when I am off work), early, with small enough bills for the token machines(use 10s), and pack a snack. My daughter LOVES it here and seriously, $ 10 will give her EASILY90 mins of fun at the games. She likes the climbing gym and it seems way cleaner nowadays than in the past. I do like that they make sure stamps match so kids just cant run off with someone random or run out the door. I also like that the last time we were here, though my daughter was like 15 tickets shy of the rocket launching thing she wanted they TOTALLY gave it to her, no issue. The guy was like«Sure! Here you go.» CONS: on the weekends it is DAMNLOUD!(Hence why I don’t go). Too loud. Like, infants ears will bleed loud(ok, that is a dramatization but…). The Chuck E Cheese costume is creepy, the animatronics are so old that they are barely synced up anymore, and the music is just as bad as it was when I was 8. Basically, it is one of those places that you as a parent dread going to but end up smiling because your kid is having such a good time.
