So… they’re no longer in business here in case you were wondering why it looked so empty. Which I can comprehend, the rent is pretty high, $ 4k a month, San Jo is definitely trippin’. It’s pretty sad because CreParis was my go to place for crepes. It was actually the only reason why I would sometimes agree to go to San Pedro Square with friends, just for their crepes. I also liked how it wasn’t a sit down place, it was just a quick way for me to get my crêpe fix within a matter of minutes. They were always really nice to me, probably because I wasn’t the usual, picky, hipster wannabe crowd with the out of proportion needs. I would just ask for the Nutella & Strawberry crêpe with whip on top, very simple and simply delicious. I hope they open one elsewhere with cheaper rent(Hayward) :)

Well after having such a great experience two years ago, I guess I just don’t spend much time in this area these days. Twice this week I have stopped by this establishment, only to find it abandoned. Once at 4pm and once the next day at noon. I hope they come back, cause I might, when I am in the area.

Nice little shop inside San Pedro, and the crêpe was good, however the guy making it had a girl leaning over the counter when I went to order that he was talking to the whole time… And eventually stand behind the counter to eat her crêpe and chat with him. Clearly he didn’t want to be bothered whenever I spoke to him… Attitude! Regret ordering there.

I came here with my date tonight and we ordered the same thing, the Saumon savory crêpe. It comes with salmon, cream cheese, capers, and onions. Everything was cooked just right. The side salad was very well-dressed. My only complaint is that the crêpe seemed to lack an extra ingredient, though I’m unsure what it was. It was good, but too simple. Not worth the almost $ 10…but I’ll definitely come again.

this was really just an average creperie. Definitely had better. The crepes weren’t bad but lacked in the normal amount of nutella that I like. And they didn’t seem to have as much flavor as I am used to. The location is cool. In the San Pedro market.

Stopped by here at around 4pm on a Friday afternoon as we were casually strolling downtown on our day off from work. Stood in front of the register, made eye contact with the old lady behind the counter and she did acknowledge our presence. We then see a sign that says she’s on break. As we ordered from the neighboring Vietnamese place, we see her minutes later telling all the merchants«Have a nice weekend!» WTH? That’s one hell of a break?! We hear from the merchants that she’ll be back at 6pm. A 2hr break? It looks like this place doesn’t want our business, we’ll take it to the ones who want our $$. Good luck paying rent with your 2 hr lunches on a Friday dinner peak dinner service time!

I love crêpes so I was excited to try this place. They have a great variety of dishes which is nice! I chose the Pesto crêpe with turkey to-go. It tasted great but it was definitely soggy and a bit skimpy on the filling. I would rather go to CrepeVine or Delicious Crepes.

I think this place is great — super tasty. I recommend the La Foret w/ham for lunch or the Bonjour for breakfast. Don’t forget a lil Sriracha to spice it up. I don’t understand the negative reviews. The French woman is nice and I’m compelled back here fortnightly. :)

I’ve had crepes here with my friends and family and they are good. The service is usually good too, nothing outstanding though. What really got to me though was my last visit. I ordered two of the little baguette? or whatever sandwiches… both different. She had some ready made so she handed me one of those and the other she asked another employee to make. I asked if she could possibly make both fresh … she didn’t like that. She told me it was made half hour ago(actually 45 min ago from the time she gave me but whatever) and reassured me it was fresh. I told her I didn’t mind paying extra and I just wanted a fresher sandwich and she finally agreed but not without giving me her two cents. She told me I was wasting money and it was a waste and blah blah blah… but finally told me my sandwiches would be ready in a moment. If I know anything about customer service is that you don’t talk to customers like that. Its rude. And how dare I want a fresh sandwich? I didn’t know that was a problem. I’m paying you basically the same amount of $$ for a sandwich thats half the size of a Togos sandwich(which is located across the street) that comes with soda and chips. Whatever I figured I was getting fresh ingredients or something… NOPE. When I got home the sandwich meat was dry and sad and the avocado was stale and old. I tossed the sandwich and went down to Togos and got a better deal. Lesson learned. Anyways service sucks. Particularly the old woman that took my order and what not… Food is meh… Its in San Pedro Square… go get a Konjoe Burger instead.

nice little crêpe shop inside san pedro square market. i was looking for something semi-healthy, and not too big, and this seemed like the perfect place to fit my needs at the time. i ordered the vegetable crêpe, plus grilled chicken, light on the cheese(instead of 2 – 3 slices of cheese, i requested half this amount). the crêpe came with mushrooms, spinach, onions, swiss and gruyère cheese, and the grilled chicken. the plate also came with a small mixed green salad with light dressing. i had to pay a bit more since i was modifying an existing menu item, but it was worth it b/c the combination of chicken and veggies and a bit of cheese was simply scrumptious. i think they even used a whole wheat crêpe based on the darker colour of the crêpe after it was fully cooked. extra points for healthiness! the young man who took my order as well as the other young man who made my crêpe were both very pleasant and patient with me as i asked my questions. total bill = $ 10.60, a very fair price for the quality of food received. as with all other spsm vendors, you order your food and they call your number(or order or name) when the order is ready and you find a place inside the market or outside on the terrace to enjoy your food.

I ordered the lemon and sugar and banana Nutella before. I like the lemon and sugar because they actually use fresh squeezed lemon. You could taste the fresh tangy flavor with a perfect touch of sweetness. It didn’t take a while at all to get my order. I always get my sweet crepes with powdered sugar and a whip cream on the side. Nice friendly service. Plus they have fruit infused water that you can drink from.

The negative reviews about the service here confuse me, but it might just depend on who is helping you. We went during lunch and the older woman was working. She was really nice, and her accent is wonderful too! As per her suggestion, got the Normandie: ham, shaved sweet apples, and arrugula. Yes, it took a bit to make it — because she was both playing cashier and chef. Seriously, I am a patient person and can sit at a table chatting with my friends for ten minutes for someone to make me a fresh crêpe. In Europe, that’s about how long it took at every single crêpe place — one person in the store doing both jobs. I’m fine with that. The crêpe itself was filling, easily could have shared, and came with some fresh salad. My favorite part was the inclusion of the apples, the sweetness mixed nicely with the ham. It was simple tasting, but satisfying. Not the best crêpe I have ever had, but still decent.

4⁄5: I tried the Bananas Foster Crêpe: $ 8.25. I like it: great flavor, and the crêpe has good texture: it’s a very springy/chewy style. 3⁄5: The Sammy s’mores crêpe is OK: It’s a little too gloopy inside. I think they got the proportions wrong: it needs ½ the amount of marshmallows and chocolate, and twice the amount of graham crackers. But the crêpe itself has great snap to it. I don’t recommend the buckwheat batter: it’s kind of mushy. I tried the crêpe suzette with the buckwheat, and it was terrible/soggy:

I’ve eaten here a number of times and I’m sure I’ll be back again soon. My favorite thing on the menu is a buckwheat crêpe filled with strawberry, banana and(light on the) Nutella. When it’s cut in half, it makes a perfect breakfast, snack or dessert for two. If they start offering organic fruit, vegan crepes made with soy, and a vegan hazelnut spread made with honey, I’ll up my rating to five stars.

Well I went here because they victimized the starving girl by putting out free samples. I tried a sample of the Champiogne(?) sandwich and was like WOAH I need that! My hunger of course blocked me from considering my options. I order that and my mom ordered a crêpe. Upon ordering there was one person in line in front of us and two people waiting on the side for their orders. With only two people working behind the counter, they were getting nowhere. One girl at sandwiches and the lady who I assumed owned the place working cash register and crepes. Not exaggerating– it took roughly 20+ minutes to receive our food. AND the crêpe lady made my moms order and then said«oh no, I think this lady was here first» and gave her the crêpe!(My mom and the stranger lady ordered the same thing). We were like UMM excuse me. Everyone else that was in front of us has been long gone. So after finally getting our food. It wasn’t even anything near brag worthy. It’s not like it tasted bad. But it was just food. I took half my sandwich home and toasted it– made it a lot better. I’m telling you, hunger will blind you into thinking that first bite is miraculous. I tried a bite of my moms crêpe and felt the same way. It had some what of an odd taste to the crêpe wrapping itself. Whatever. On to trying new places at San Pedro

I went here because everywhere else was busy during lunch hour, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was, especially after reading all the negative reviews about«soggy crepes» and«too expensive.» It’s not. I got the crêpe du saumon, a smoked salmon crêpe with capers, crème fraîche, and diced red onions($ 10.50). Served with a side salad and a generous portion of smoked salmon, I thought it was fair for the price. I really enjoyed the texture that the buckwheat flour(wrapping?) and diced red onions provided, though in general I’m not really a fan of any kind of crêpe wrapping other than the original egg batter. And of course, who can resist smoked salmon and capers? The crème fraîche softened the otherwise extreme flavors, and overall it was delicious, kind of like a soft bagel with lox. Yum. Not a bad choice if you’re looking for lunch. They also have free samples(mini sandwiches), but, for the love of shame, don’t grab four of them and NOT buy something from them. So tacky. – sweet: free samples while you wait! tasty side salad w/savory crepes, generous portions, good flavors bitter: slightly expensive, not a fan of the buckwheat flour

I was nervous going in because of all the nasty reviews about the service, but my cashier/cook was very friendly and helpful. I got a Sammy’s Smores; it was awesome! Graham crackers, chocolate, and marsh mellow rolled into a yummy giant crêpe! It filled me up, I almost couldn’t finish the chocolatey goodness. The wait as only about 5 minutes for it to be made too and you can watch. 8 bucks wasn’t too bad for it’s size. They’ve got a lot of different options too, I’ll probably come back for a savory one!

Absolutely rude people. I went on Unilocal to find a place open after 10 and it says this place closed at 11. My friends and I got there a little after 10 and we were standing there waiting to be waited on while two men behind the counter stood there unhelpful. We waited for roughly 5 minutes for someone to at least acknowledge us. I finally spoke up and asked the men if they were still open and they abruptly answered no. They should’ve at least acknowledged us and asked us if we needed help or to let us know they were closed cause we made eye contact with them multiple times before I spoke up. I probably won’t be going here again.

I have a thing for crepes. I took French throughout all of high school, and have always been slightly obsessed with the culture, especially the food. CreParis offers both savory and sweet crepes. They also have sandwiches too. I’m not so big on dessert crepes, because I really love savory crepes. My friend ordered the veggie crêpe and I had the Le Poulet crêpe(chicken, mushroom, gruyère, with béchamel. The crepes were make with buckwheat batter which was so delicious. Each crêpe was about $ 7 – 8, and the portion is enough to fill you to a satisfied point. I thought there was enough flavor in it, not too salty, and felt really light. I loved the woman working there. She speaks French, and it feels so authentic. She’s also so sweet and friendly too. I really enjoyed the texture of the crêpe; it’s like a thin pancake.

The dessert crepes satisfy my sweet tooth, but it’s not worth $ 7!!! Crêpe Suzette($ 7) — Not bad. I could taste the orange flavor,(which is supposed to be the Grand Marnier, I guess) but not the cognac. I don’t mind! I don’t think you’re supposed to taste strong alcohol in a sweet crêpe anyway. She-She($ 7.25) — It’s the Crêpe Suzette with yummy dark chocolate but I didn’t taste the orange. I really liked it, though. Heck, I love anything with dark chocolate! Bananas Foster($ 7) — Sweeeeeeet! Bananas, caramel, cinnamon, rum and brandy… WOOO! Holy Crêpe —($ 5.25) — It’s alright, props to the guy behind the counter who recommended this when I couldn’t decide what to get. The chestnut spread and the crème fraîche is super sweet, I’m surprised I didn’t get a toothache. Sammy’s S’mores($ 5.75) — I had a few bites from my Unilocaler buddy’s(Janet O!) plate. The semi-sweet chocolate made this crêpe super yummy! I love the cute little marshmallows they put on top of the crêpe. This place is way too pricey! For $ 7, or even $ 5.25, I expect to get something that LOOKS expensive. Instead, you get a flat plain crêpe that looks like it should be $ 2. It’s nice of them to drizzle powdered sugar and chocolate, or have whipped cream on the side but it needs more!!! Can you put a little bit of garnish, please!!! Maybe slices of bananas with the Bananas Foster. Or, orange slices on top of the Crêpe Suzette? Maybe a little flower or even a little mint leaf will make me happy that I paid $ 7 for a dessert. A little decoration makes a big difference! I hope this place is making real menus for everyone to see. It’s kind of annoying to have to share one laminated menu with everyone else. I was really irritated when I was looking at the menu and the guy behind the counter put his hand over the menu(dying to get it from me), grabbed it, and gave it to the customers behind me. Ummm… I wasn’t done. But whatever, maybe I was taking too long and many people were waiting. It would probably help if they post the menu online so I could look at it from my iPhone, or decide at home what to get before I walk over here. Geeeeeezzzz. Even though I have a few gripes about this place, they have other sweet and savory crepes I want to try. It’s so expensive, though, that I would rather go to Banana Crêpe in Japantown to satisfy my craving for dessert crêpe. Their mouth-watering crepes are cheaper($ 3-$ 5), bigger, and a lot more fun!
