Monday nights my girlfriend and I are faithful to Denny’s the guy that attends us the server Jose supervisor knows customer service always treats us with top Notch quality is on point and knows what we like will be coming here for a long time we don’t need no menus as soon as he sees us he knows we’re in the house he never gets our order wrong way to go Jose keep up the good customer service

I wish If I can great minus stars to this location. Not because of the foods but because of the horrible service. The Waiter name JOSE ANTONIO did a horrible customer service. He called every single person of our 7 people «FAT» and gave us attitude during took order for us. Then when we asked for the check, he told us to wait. We waited for almost 30min. He told us to wait because the system was down, but we saw him checked out for other customers. When we finally got our check, of course, we would give him no tip. Then again, he said «WOW, Really?» Is that Denny’s customer service???

I’ve been going there for the past couple weeks every Sunday morning with my son. The place is really busy and you might have to wait for a little bit, but it’s well worth the wait. The two servers there Anna and Roberto were amazing!

I ordered here last night.
I have to say, when I called the phone reception was choppy on their side and it was irritating to repeat myself over and over again, I had to wait 5 minutes as he was writing down the order. First off I ordered a blackberry and strawberry milk shake, our server who repeated strawberry and black berry milkshake on the phone, they made us a blackberry and Oreo milkshake, and I guess that’s ok…
I also ordered a build your own grand slam with 2 buttermilk pancakes 2 wheat pancakes but if I couldn’t have 4 pancakes they could’ve just told me and switch it over to buttermilk biscuits. But they didn’t give me the wheat pancakes in the end (I had someone go and pick it up so that was on me) but otherwise the food tasted pretty bad, I ordered a club sandwich and the bread was burnt quite a bit, and as I said earlier They gave me the wrong kind of milkshake. I can understand it was busy and all, but honestly if you wrote all this down and is referring to it, how could you Get it wrong.
I also got a to-​go menu along with it and used it to check the prices on my receipt, turns out they added 70 cents to my order. But they have to make money so I’ll count it as a tip. :/​
Anyways final conclusion:
Foods decent
servers and customer services are sometimes ok. I guess
Bad phone reception.
Oh well thanks for my dinner :)

Came here on a Sunday at around 2pm and we waited alil to be sat down, no biggie. Our waitress Coda helped us out, she was super nice. Food was awesome compared to the 1^st street Dennys (dont get me started) we were pretty happy with the service and quality of the food and wait time. 5 stars and Thanks again to our lovely waitress Coda with her awesome customer service! :)

I have been here a couple times and usually after midnight. This location is open ²⁴⁄₇ which is convenient when you are craving food at very strange times of the day. The wait staff is usually very friendly though the service may not be the most expedient. The food itself is mediocre. It satisfies my cravings, usually for eggs, bacon, or other breakfast foods, and fills me up. It is fun when they have events or seasonal selections and they are always willing to help out if needed.

We were loyal to this location simply because its the closest to our house. Today my boyfriends sunny side up eggs were RAW. Our waitress questioned us because we wanted Sunnyside up. YES but this egg was RAW — OMG just look at the photo i took today. Terrible. This was the last straw. Not coming back.

Really really really bad customer service on the phones. Called a first time and an associate named Jason just hung up. Then I called a second time and they just picked up the phone and hung up again. Then called 3 more times and there was no answer. Customer service sucks.

Having been to a few Denny’s around the area, I think my hubby will agree with me when I say this is one of the better ones. Recently, this specific diner was under reconstruction and now that it has opened again, I think there has been a change in management because service was much more attentive than before.
Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by who we believed to be the owner. He walked us across the large seating area and to a small booth right below a television set. Our waitress, Kym, greeted us by «sir» and «madame» which shocked me, but in a very good way. She was so courteous and very sweet.
As for the food, I ordered a lemonade iced tea that was ultra refreshing with just a hint of tartness as well as «Moon over my Hammy,» a sandwich with ham, eggs, and cheese on sourdough bread with a side of hash browns. My hubby got the Lumberjack Slam that came with two pancakes, two eggs sunny side up, sausages, hash browns, and ham.
Service was quick and our food came out hot. I try not to have «Moon over my Hammy» too often because it is certainly a thick and decadent sandwich, but that first bite was just too good. The cheese was soft, the ham tender, the bread toasted to perfection, and the eggs were very fluffy. I like to add a bit of Tabasco sauce as well, just for a kick of heat. Denny’s prepares their hash browns the way I like them, light and crispy with enough to fill half your plate.
As for my hubby’s dish, the ham was surprisingly very thick and well-​seasoned, I didn’t try his eggs, but I ate a good portion of his pancakes. They soaked up the maple syrup quite nicely and was certainly sweet enough to satisfy my craving for something sugary.
Of course, you can’t beat the prices here. Everything was under $ 25 and we left feeling ultra full. I’m quite certain my hubby and I will be back sometime again when the crave for comfort food hits.

It seems to me as if dennys has gone down hill so much in these past few months ! The servers here are very rude and do not look happy whatsoever ! Our server was the same one we had few weeks ago, his name is Alonzo ! Let me tell you this guy is very unhappy, and probably hates his job! He dosent greet you, he says can I get you a drink! I’m a server and you always want to smile and at least introduce yourself ! If you don’t like your job, please please find a new one! It’s not your guest fault that you don’t have people skills ! Shame on you dennys ! With your remodeling you should of got new employees !

I wish we didn’t have to give a star. This place doesn’t deserve it!
I came here for a team early dinner last night, and we had a private room for about 20 people. Well who gives a room that size ONE server?! The tables weren’t ready for us, we had to do them. He didn’t bring out enough water cups for all of us, didn’t refill our water pitchers, you could tell he didn’t want to be there either. He had his mind else where. He didn’t smile, didn’t show any excitement, it’s not our fault we get to have fun, be in costumes and enjoy the night.
Getting to my food. I ordered the Blueberry Muffin Pancakes thing. It’s from the $ 6 menu thing. It was supposed to come with whipped cream and white chocolate chips. There wasn’t any of it! On top off that, the eggs were so sad looking. It didn’t look like two of them. The sausage was so greasy too. I felt embarrassed eating it. Also when the foods were coming out, he wasn’t giving them to the person who ordered it. He would just set it down wherever there was space. Then my friend had to wait for her spaghetti to come out. It was just a complete disappointment.
I mean TBH, I never expect much out from a Denny’s. Not a five or four star level. Maybe three, maybe. I know what I’m getting myself into. But if I wasn’t with a group and if we weren’t on a time frame, I totally would have talked to the manager about this. Not acceptable @ all. Already starting off the evening with tricks!
Save your money, don’t come to this one.
I will NOT be back.

Incompetent, unprofessional… ghetto. I should have stayed home and poured a bowl of cereal. Raise the minimum wage for what?

The food is usually meh, but I am never disappointed by the quesadilla! Do yourself a favor and order it next time. 4 stars because I had an awesome bday dinner here. Denny’s always has a warm, comfortable vibe. The waitress Vanessa was extremely kind and sang happy birthday with us. Come here for a good time with great company! If you’re looking for 5 star food, this is not the place. I also came here once at 5am because I wanted to eat breakfast alone before school, and the service and food was not bad. All the workers did look extremely tired though; downside of night shifts.

Out of all the Denny’s in san jose, this one is my favorite. It never has a long wait time, and it is always very clean. And most waiters are friendly.

It’s my first time at this Denny’s restaurant. I ordered T bone steaks medium rare with sweet corn, french fried and white toast. First time came out was well done and i have to exchange to another one. This time was rare and steak was no good and the white toast was burned and turned to black. Waitresses weren’t nice and they don’t know how to serve customers. I would not recommended anyone to come here. Bad foods:(

I put one star, well because you have to put something in order to write a review. Worst Denny’s in a while. 1 server for the WHOLE restaurant, and it was pretty full, only the far end was empty. Never a refill on drinks the whole visit, no one was around to ever ask for napkins that were needed, just all out bad. Food is never the best, but what do you expect from Denny’s I guess. I come here because it’s close, but always have the worst experience. If you don’t mind, go farther for maybe better quality.

Nice quick service. Our server Rafael was on the ball with refills and the odd little requests my kid would ask for (like extra whipped cream for her hot coco).
Will be returning next time we are in town.

We used to come here all the time with a business group, but chose to take our business elsewhere because the service was always so bad!
The food is pretty much the same at all the Denny’s, so the only thing worth going back for is friendly service.
I understand it is early in the morning, but if we can smile at them, why can’t they quit with the attitude and just smile back?
If you have to go to a Denny’s in the morning, don’t make it this one!

Wildly underwhelms in terms of prompt service. Sunday morning arrived before 9am and had to wait over 20 min to be seated despite plenty of seating. Are they trying to make it look busy for cats on the street with a line out the door? If so, pretty disappointing for a family with two young kids. Would be nice to just sit and wait in one of the many waiting booths.
Came the pumpkin pancakes which were OK. Little bit thick. The French toast is more like a slice of cake. Skillet was best thing had. Our server was polite and attentive.
