I’ve been here many times considering the fact that this Korean restaurant one of the very few in the area. The atmosphere is really nice on top of the cute spoons and decorations on the plates. I have tried the Story Sushi Roll and I thought it was pretty decent sushi for a Korean restaurant. I actually might come back to try the other sushi rolls and see how those are. However, after all the times I’ve been here, I feel like the prices have gone up, but the taste and quality of the food hasn’t been any different. The only Korean dishes I would actually come back for are the bibimbap and the soft tofu soup. I have tried the udon and ramen and really like how they give large portions with a decent amount of seafood. After being to many other Korean restaurants, I noticed that they don’t have much variety in the food options. I would like to experience other dishes that Korea has to offer other than the usual bibimbap and soft tofu soup that many customers seem to order. Other than that, I think everything else is just okay. I wish there would be more variety in the banchan that they give out instead of the usual kimchi, bean sprouts, fish cakes, and seaweed. With that said, it would be nice if they brought out the banchan after we order instead of bringing it out at the same time or after our meals arrive, especially when we’re starving and would like something to munch on while waiting for our food.

I just went here earlier today for lunch! My friends took me here for my first time before and I thought the tofu soup was great– very similar to BCD down in socal compared to the other ones I’ve tried up here in norcal. Got the pork tofu soup and my boyfriend got the beef tofu soup. Comes with your own personal ban chan in a little bento box style(I think this is clever because less clean up instead of the small circle plates and bigger portion) — includes fish cake strips, bean sprouts, seaweed, kimchi and purple rice. Also ordered unagi maki and scallop nigiri. The unagi maki came in 8 pieces which is better than usual maki(6) but didn’t hold together well. Even picking up the pieces made them come apart easily. Good but not great for the sushi. I think the star was the tofu soup! Big portion(I couldn’t even finish mines) and nice meat and tofu ratio. I also like the variety of food they offer here– lots of korean and japanese options. I’ll definitely be back here for the tofu soup!

Even though this place is called Enjoy Seoul, I quite enjoy the Japanese food that is here. Came with BF on a Saturday night and it was kind of empty, maybe 2 – 3 other tables. We ordered the unagi burgers($ 6), a sushi 5pc + cali combo($ 13), and a bulgogi plate($ 16). The unagi burgers were really good but there were only two of them and they were about the size of two thumbs each. Maybe 1.5 thumbs if you have large hands(very tiny burgers). They were very delicious(with tender eel and crunchy cucumbers and giant avocado slices and ginger sauce and homemade bread yuUUmm) but not worth it!!! I am very happy to have tasted this but would never order it again. I enjoyed my sushi 5 pc + cali roll combo! 13 dollars for a sushi dinner is pretty worth it, in my opinion. And it tasted good and normal even though this is a Korean place. It came with salad and miso soup too! But the food portion is probably only OK for a lady and not even like a big-eating-lady… I was full but not stuffed. The bulgogi plate that BF got was pretty huge with the bulgogi on a typical stone grill but piled high! The flavor was standard but not overwhelming as it sometimes is. And this even came with banchan and purple rice!!! Make sure to request non-purple rice if you don’t like the fancy one! Very cute décor too with K-POP playing on the telly. I will return next time I am back in Vietnamese town to get boba at Tea Lyfe !

Love this place,.food came out fast! Wish they had this in Elk Grove. I ordered the mackerel which came out nice and crispy on the outside and moist in the middle. I also ordered the Godzilla roll which had yellowtail. food was very good and I can’t wait to come back when I’m in San Jose.

Cute little restaurant in the heart of Vietnam Town. Service is FANTASTIC. Everything always comes with a huge plate of sides. I highly recommend the ramen soft tofu, bibimbab, or Cherry Blossom roll. The price is also quite reasonable.

BLUF: Great place for quick Americanized Korean food. I highly recommend the don katsu and seafood kalgksu. During a trip home, my mom and I decided to make a quick stop to grab lunch. I didn’t know the area very well so my mom recommended Enjoy Seoul and I was more than happy to oblige as I saw a lot of good reviews for it. The layout of the restaurant is clean and tidy with little to no wait. There are several TVs on but it was not on too loud. It was just enough to create a laid back environment. The first thing that caught my eye was the cute silverware and plates they set out as seen in the picture. After our orders were taken, the side dishes quickly came out and the main meals arrived within fifteen minutes. The don katsu was crispy on the outside with moist chicken within. The sauce on top was rich and a little sweeter than what I was used to(causing me to conclude this was a move towards American taste) but loved it none the less. My mom order the kalgusku and from what I tried, it was fantastic. The noodles were chewy and the seafood fresh. Often times, these soups are too salty but this was just right. Bookmarked and fully prepared to return in the future if I am in the area.

I went to Enjoy Seoul and decided to go for — wait for it — seafood udon! Don’t hate me guys, I was really craving seafood that day. The seafood udon was delicious, so flavorful with the clams, mussels, shrimp, fish cakes, squid, crab, and scallop. Plus, the addition of the mushrooms just soaks up all of the umami flavoring. I was highly amused by the smiley faces on our spoon and the cute animations on the plates. I would definitely like to come by and try an actual Korean dish next time. Until then!

This place is super kyeopta(Korean for cute)! The spoon winks at you and your plate animates from dancing gummy bears to singing crackers! Location: Located in San Jose Vietnam Town, near Grand Century Mall. It was hard to find at first because I believe the sign’s a little small but it’s near the round-about. Service: When I came for dinner, there wasn’t many people there considering it was Tuesday night so only one lady was waiting all the tables and she did a great job! She was always smiling and made sure we’d get what we wanted. Food: Very diverse and menu’s quite big. There’s a variety, ranging from Japanese to Korean to Thai — name any Asian cuisine, they have it! Obviously, I came here for Korean food considering their name is «Enjoy Seoul» so I settled for the soft tofu soup. At first, I thought it was just going to be the soup and that was it, but it came with a bento box of side-dishes! — which was super great because 1) side dishes are the best part about Korean restaurants and 2) I was actually wondering if a bowl of soup was enough for me. Price wise, I think $ 12 for all of that was worth it! I’d definitely come back next time and try out other items on the menu.

Went here with some friends around 7 pm on Wednesday night. We had to wait about 15 – 20 min for our table I order seafood udon $ 12.95 Freaking amazing there was so much seafood. A lot of clams, some with shells and without, half of a small crab, some mussels, a little bit of squid, a piece of scallop. I was pretty full after that I also got the green dragon while my friend got the red dragon. I like both but the green dragon was light since it had avacado while the red dragon was more fried My brother got the spicy pork which some with a bento box with rice, tofu, Kim chi, dry seaweed and something else. We also share a bottle of korean raspberry wine $ 13. It was sweeter then american red wine. The plates and spoon are cute. The server split everyone check which was amazing cuz we didn’t even ask and we had about 10 people. I would total go again just for the seafood udon.

This is a cute little korean restaurant :) It’s kind of hidden in the back of the Vietnamese plaza(it’s near phở 90 degree, tealyfe, and sweet corner). This is one of the closer korean restaurant by SJSU besides going to Japantown. They have really cute decorations and utensils here — the spoons and plates have cute smiley faces :) The workers here are friendly and quick! The food here is average, but it’s reasonable price and good portion sizes. Hmm I did try one of their sushi rolls and it wasn’t that great and kind of pricey, but I recommend sticking to the korean food here — the bibimbap and tofu soup is good and my friends enjoyed the seafood pancake :) Overall, it’s a cute little hidden restaurant and it’s worth a try if you want some korean food instead of vietnamese food when in Vietnam Town.

This place is so playful and cute! From the cute spoons to the animated dishes! It was so much fun eating here! The menu is quite large. You can choose to have sushi, soft tofu soups, or even bibimbap! It was very hard to choose but I went with my favorite korean dish, dumpling soft tofu soup! I was super excited for the side dishes! Not going to lie, that’s like the best part of eating korean food! You have the option of choosing between brown rice or white without any additional costs! That’s awesome! For about $ 12 I got a sizzling bowl of dumpling soft tofu soup with an egg, rice, seaweed, two types of kimchi and two other side dishes! I definitely had a feast! I was so full at the end! It was very tasty. I ordered mine mild but I think it can go for spicy next time. It wasn’t too bad! I think for the price it was worth it. The services was great as well! Won’t disappoint when you come here. I haven’t tried the sushi though so can’t say much about that!

What? I don’t understand the average rating on here… I’ve been here twice and both experiences were fantastic! 5* Spicy Beef Noodles, Spicy Pork 4* Salmon teriyaki, beef ribs(Wonderful flavor but I wish I requested medium-rare– too overcooked for me) 3* Albacore appetizer, Ceviche, Sushi [(California rolls with Salmon on top; forget the actual name) too much going on for me in one roll] The banchan was decent; not a huge variety. Odeng was a little hard, and kimchi could have been spicier, but seaweed is a nice touch. Service is pretty fast here. One of the times I went, it got really packed(right before closing on a week day). I like the décor and utensils that they use too.

My first experience with Enjoy Seoul was decent, with the exception of my roe bowl not having uni unlike the picture on the menu. However, today was a different story. Although the tofu soup with seafood was delicious, I noticed that our plates and napkins were DIRTY. There were also broken egg shells in the soup too. I hope this is an off day for Enjoy Seoul, but I won’t be back unless I’m in the area with no other options.

I took my grandpa here, we had the seafood ramen and unagi burger. They use real ramen noodles and their seafood is like legit compared to some places I been to. It’s crab not imitation, clams, scallop, shrimp, and others. There unagi burger was flavorful and the plate setting is really nice. I have to come back to try other items.

I really like this place! The décor is super cute. I go when I crave the hot tofu soup. The sushi portions are enormous. The BBQ is good too. You’ll feel really full after a meal. The only downside is the service takes forever no matter the amount of customers. Most of the time I go, there aren’t many(except probably weekend nights). The service is good though. I find it really funny that they play different music than the videos playing LOL.

I’m so sad to be giving this place one star. I really want to promote small businesses but if you’re terrible, then you gotta go. First things first… there was only ONEGUY working. I don’t know if this was a super off day, but you gotta have someone for back up. He was doing the cooking, ordering, cleaning, and cashier. It took us awhile to get noticed and seated. Another 15 minutes before we got to order. And he came over twice to remind him what we ordered. Then an hour later, the FOODFINALLYCAME. We should have left as soon as I saw the guy asking us a SECONDTIME for our orders. People who say«I’m Korean and this place is good» kind of annoy me because yes, you may be Korean, but you may not have good TASTEBUDS. I can’t believe some people rave about the soon dubu here. I’ve tried multiple and they are all SALTY as heck with mediocre ingredients. I ordered their al-bap(fish roe over rice) and it came in a piping hot pot. First of all, when you order fish roe or sashimi over rice, ITSHOULDN’T COMECOOKED. The whole point is having a fresh, raw dish. Second of all, there was a POOL of oil on the bottom and when I was trying to frantically move the rice over from getting overcooked, the oil splashed from the heat onto my EYE. Luckily my eye closed before the oil hit so it didn’t get my eyeball. The guy took it away for 10 minutes and brought it back soaking in the oil. The bottom part of the bowl was already burnt and inedible, the fish roe was all cooked and disgusting. I sent it back and didn’t want to order anything else. Another issue are their ban chans. My brother took a bite of their oh-deng(fish cake) and it was ROTTEN. It had a sour smell to it and my brother almost threw up. Their kimchi is sub par. Their sushi is edible and won’t make you sick, but not very yummy. I was a very hangry customer at the end of it. And to top it all off, the guy comes over and says he took my fish roe entrée off the bill for us, as if he was doing us a HUGE favor. Buddy, you should’ve given us half of the meal for free since we had to wait so long. Plus the prices are ridiculous for Korean food. If you really knew how much they cost at other authentic Korean restaurants(like ones on El camino), you would NOT be paying these prices for this. Again, I really wanted to like this place and we tried to be nice customers despite all the horrid things happening but I won’t be returning.

Nays: jacked up price for hwe du bap, chirashi, galbi etc., water served on tap tasted funny… aren’t you suppose to serve water when customers ask for it? Food was expensive for mediocre taste. Soup didn’t have enough spicy oomph nor piping hot. Ok: décor including spoon. Only 2 people serving, but attentive. Banchan in bent box. Overall, I knew it was bad, but I didn’t come here by choice. They don’t have plain tofu stew, so I picked combo. Soup was only bubbly for few seconds so it wasn’t hot enough to cook my egg. 6 pieces of unpeeled shrimp, clams, scallops and beef is all I remember besides tofu. I think this is Korean owned, but strange place to have Korean food. Korean food/culture pretty popular with vietnamese people I guess. Didn’t bother trying sushi. Wouldn’t come here out of my own will… Location: in the newer part of grand century with the«Vietnam town» sign. Or to be more accurate, behind soyful.

Got the stone plate beef bibimbap which is huge. Unlike other places which only give a tiny amount of beef, Enjoy Seoul gave a good beef to veggie ratio. The bad part about it was the bibimbap sauce/paste. It was extremely sweet. The sauce is supposed to have some sweetness, but someone went overboard on the sugar when they made it. The waitress was accommodating when I told her, and she came out with the plain korean hot paste so I could even out the sweetness of my dish. They give free side dishes, banchan, in a bento box which is cute. They also gave free miso soup to accompany my bibimbap order. The miso soup was bad, it wasn’t just a little salty, it was like sprinkling salt directly into my tongue. Since it was free, I didn’t feel the need to complain to the waitress. My friend ordered the ramen tofu soup. She got a medium, and it was’t a medium, it was hot. So if you can’t take spicy food be careful here when selecting your spice level. I love spicy food so when I tried her soup I thought it was perfect. It not only had good heat, but also good flavor.

Ive been to Enjoy Seoul a couple of times. Once for take out and the second time with the best friend for a catch up dinner! They actually offer Korean and Japanese food here! The restaurant was empty when we dined, so service was quick and the servers were super nice! FOODS — — — — — — – — Seafood Ceviche — Good portion and the slices of fish/seafood are bigger than usual. It was good. — Seafood Tofu Soup — *Don’t forget the purple rice!* The soup was good, but not the best! — Salmon Rolls — *must try appetizer here* i’ve ordered this both times and it never disappoints! — 49er Rolls — Their 49er roll is bigger in size than other places! Still good though! — Beef Bibimbap — SOOOO good, I ordered this for take out, but they don’t put an egg with the regular order. Not sure if you’re supposed to ask for it for an extra charge, but they never asked me. Good thing I had it as take out so I added the egg on it myself. *Also, they don’t serve a lot of banchan here, but it’s cute that they put it in bento boxes!*
