Huh. After reading some of the scary reviews here, I feel like I visited a completely different place. Service was fast and friendly. The food was prepared to order and tasted delicious. I’m paranoid about food safety and noticed that the staff had proper training… gloves, proper utensils, etc. I’m not a huge fan of the location(the street is a little noisy/distracting) but… oh well. It’s another solid Erik’s Deli.

Erik’s deli always tastes fresh and good. I usually order the sweet liberty on gluten free bread. I like they offer gluten free bread options most other sandwiches places do not offer it. My favorite soup is the tomato basil bisque. They also make a very nice pasta salad but that is not gluten free. Erik’s deli is also very consistent from location to location.

After coming from their location on Curtner I was hoping we can get good service here because we called before we left and the lady was friendly over the phone. She said as soon as we pull up just call and we will come out. We already had a long day with doctors appointment and dealing with their café on Curtner I was looking forward to finally tasting their sandwich. Once we pulled up called them 3 times the phone just rang no one picked up so I gave up on even trying. How can you invite new customers that want to taste your food and don’t have a good first impression? I mean customers are the reason why you are still open if you lose one customer how many other days have you treated customers so wrong?

So far not disappointing, good service and food is the reason I return(past 5 yrs) to this one location. I’m hooked on their R.E.O Speedwagon in many variations they allow me to come up with. My kid on the other hand like the build your own sandwich, yeah we did the T*gos thing and boycott«The Way of The Sub» and the«Q» place they never been and I dis like… Erik’s is our fast food dinner night when nothing home made is ready for dinner. Simple but accommodating selection is what keeps us returning on busy runaround days… I must stress, it’s out fast food choice(no McD, BK, Jacks or KFC) when mom and I aren’t cooking.

Ordered two drinks, the Chicken Pesto, and the Greek God. Service was extremely quick, friendly enough, and our food was great.

I love Erik’s. The service was friendly and efficient, but the sandwich? Not so much. I got, not 1, but 2 tomato butts in my sandwich. Really turned me off.

very disappointed in this location, although the sandwich was good(reo) the last 2 times in 3 days that i visited they did not have the mushroom soup that they display on the menu. when i asked the girl at the counter whats the issue with the soup she had no answer to give she just shrugged it off and told me try again tomorrow, NOT ! the guy that made the sandwich was point on as always but the front counter services leaves someyhing to be desired. i wont be back…

I want to start off this review with a «Do not go here u don’t know what’s in ur food» I usually don’t leave bad reviews but this one deserves it… 1) this place opens at 10:00am right? My sister walk in here around 10:30am before work, but there was no one there to greet her or help her take ur order. I understand maybe no one there for a few minutes but no one came to the front for half hour… 2) As she stood there waiting for assistance. She saw multiple people inside the freezer/fridge area behind the counter… Just wondering when do you need all ur staff inside there? Training? But wouldn’t u leave one person at the front to greet customers since u are«open?» Not only were they in there for more than half hour u can’t help but think what could they be doing in there with all the produce and ingredients for our food. Absolutely unbelievable… 3) when she patiently waited and tried to get their attention with no help. As if she should go behind there and see what they were doing. She didn’t want to waste her time since she had to get back to work. She just wanted a quick lunch, but was ruined by the staff there. Like is this even a place of business? I will end this disappointed review with a do not go here if u want to get sick… For who knows what they are doing to the produce back there. Above that its unprofessional to not have someone to greet the customers. And lastly I am disgusted and appalled by the sheer fact of how could such a good sandwich/deli chain hire these type of workers. If any of the Erik’s deli associates read this… I truly hope u investigate this place. The only indication I have who was there was the morning staff of 05÷12÷14 @ 10:00am. I’m sorry but I used to love this birks deli sandwich but will never go to this location again and will notify my co-workers and friends who will no longer go here as well. Sorry for being so harsh, but this needs to brought up before someone gets sick or worse.

My boyfriend is a diva when it come to his sandwiches. He asked me to pick him up a sandwich and was very specific with his order. «light this, sprinkle of that with a touch of this» the girl at the register was very friendly. She saw how I was a bit uncomfortable bc I knew I was being difficult she then assured me that I was not her most difficult customer. She was very engaging. Service was super fast and it was very clean. I would deff go back again.

We ordered sandwiches to go from Erik’s last Friday, including a kid’s meal with cheese sandwich for my four-year-old. When we got to the park for our picnic, we discovered that Erik’s had given him peanut butter and jelly instead. He has a severe peanut allergy, so we’re very lucky that we discovered the mistake before he took a bite. Their mistake could have killed my child, so we will NEVEREVER eat at Erik’s again.

I like this Erik’s Deli much better than the one on Bascom Ave, just because it seems cleaner and it also smells better. Plenty of parking space here as well. Service is quick and efficient. and the staff are very friendly. Pilgrim’s Progress is my favorite sandwich there and the soups aren’t bad. Usually get the half sandwich combo(½ sandwich and a cup of soup) — that’s enough to keep me full for the rest of the afternoon.

Good spot to grab some of my favorite sandwiches. I love how they have alfalfa sprouts in all their sandwiches! The REO Speedwagon and Turkey Pesto are my faves! Soups really hit the spot too. Good customer service here and plenty of parking.

Ingredients are fresh, variety of hot and cold sandwiches is vast, and the soups are delicious. Not to mention they have a really good green tea with honey on tap. Not much else I can ask for in a deli. Even if you don’t normally like roast beef sandwiches, you have to try the Raging Bull.

If you fancy half a sandwich and some soup around lunch time, this is your spot. The sandwiches are made fresh to order and they do have regular soup on their menu, I usually go with the butternut squash. Be careful of their goo dressing as it has eggs. Good healthy food, 4 stars

Erik’s Deli serves sandwiches on the healthy side, and offers a comfortable and cozy dining experience. It’s a good place to eat if you want to eat out for lunch or dinner and don’t want to deal with being waited on while still wanting a healthy meal. I normally order the Pilgrim’s Progress which is a healthy but not boring sandwich. Erik’s also usually has good seasonal sandwiches including their holiday sandwich. Since their portions are healthy and on the small side, it’s not the best place if you want a lot of food, but if you have a reasonable appetite it’s well worth your time and money.

Went here again because my coworker and I got the BOGO coupon that expires next week. I got the Bay Shrimp salad and replaced the dressing with blue cheese dressing just because I love blue cheese. The salad was HUGE! I probably got about 2 – 3 cups worth of spring mix in(my doctor will be very happy!) and there was a decent portion of cooked shrimp, which was more than the 1oz of sad looking meat I was expecting to find scattered about the salad. Wish I got a little more avocado with the healthy fats, but the sprouts portion was sizeable and tasty. Despite the fact that it wasn’t the best tasting salad I’ve ever eaten for the price, it’s not a bad lunch in downtown. Four stars! Upgraded from my three stars last review.

I love this place! I came here yesterday with my boyfriend & had gotten chicken pesto chicken… It had a nice layer of pesto sauce on the bread, grilled chicken breast, pepperjack cheese on a peppered onion roll with red onions, sprouts & tomatoes. I also love how they have jars for you to drink out of, it’s a cute place for a lunch, I would def. be back soon to try everything else on their menu.
