Food is good but portions are very small. The service was good and I liked the décor of the restaurant. I might be back, but for the price I might prefer to go somewhere else. Overall I had a good experience, though.

Sad to see this place close it’s door’s down… Danny and his team at Fahrenheit have been a mainstay in DTSJ for 10 years and they are closing at the end of the month. As mentioned in my previous review, it’s managed to change throughout the years so I’m gonna sad to see another one of the original DTSJ spots go. August 22nd is the farewell party and if you haven’t already… I suggest you stop by here for happy hour or a meal before they close their doors. You won’t regret it!

Great atmosphere, top notch customer service, and the food is amazing! I ordered a Sicilian Strawberry cocktail($ 10), Chili Rubbed Shrimp Tacos($ 12), and Pan Roasted Chicken($ 21). I started out with a Sicilian Strawberry cocktail that included strawberry juice, St. George Botanivore Gin, Sicilian Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, with a splash of fresh lemon juice. This cocktail was very refreshing, and woke my taste buds up. It’s not a cocktail I’d order all the time, but I did enjoy it. Before my entrée came, I inhaled the three shrimp tacos. The tacos had a small kick of spice, but the pineapple and veggies kept everything under control. The ingredients included Grilled Gulf Shrimp, Pineapple, Tomatillo Salsa, and Yuzu Crème Fraiche. I really enjoyed these tacos, but they are a little pricey for the amount of food that you get. The Pan Roasted Chicken is said to be «Mary’s Chicken,» which is chicken that comes from the Pitman Family Farm in Sanger, California. Mary’s Chicken is some of the best chicken you can get in the state, so it’s nice to know that Fahrenheit Restaurant only serves their customers the best products. Regarding the ingredients, the chicken was topped with various herbs, roasted fingerling potatoes, and a citrus salad. I unfortunately forgot to ask the chef what type of herbs he used. As for the potatoes, they were multicolored and were cooked just right. The citrus from the salad added a nice tang to the chicken, which worked well with the slight tang I tasted in my Sicilian Strawberry cocktail. While the portion size was on the smaller side, I didn’t mind too much since the quality of the food was very high. On a sad note, I recently found out that Fahrenheit Restaurant & Lounge will be closing for good on August 23, 2015. I do recommend this restaurant to everyone, so if you can, stop by for a quick bite before their doors close for good.

We(party of four) first tried Fahrenheit for an early dinner in March 2015. They advertised Happy Hour specials from 5−7PM: soups, salads, small plates, cocktails and craft beers all half off. What a deal! We arrived on time for our 5PM reservation, and were seated in the dining room. Service was slow and confused from the start, but our server seemed to mean well enough, so we cut her slack. After we’d been perusing the menu for quite awhile, I asked about Happy Hour prices — and was informed that if we wanted to take advantage of Happy Hour, we would have to sit somewhere else.(?!) We were moved to the lounge, and ordered from what we now knew to be the Happy Hour section of the menu. Our server(who could not answer a single question about anything on the menu) came back every ten minutes or so to report that they were first out of this, then out of that(soup, hummus, various beers, etc.); she didn’t know any of this ahead of time, and didn’t bother to get a comprehensive list from the kitchen of what they had and what they didn’t — so our service was stretched out with an absurd number of delays and miscommunications. By this time, we were not only dismayed by the apathetic service; we were also at a loss as to why a restaurant would advertise specials and then be out of half of them. We ended up having to bolt our food and speed-walk to the theater, which was a decidedly unsatisfactory conclusion to what was supposed to be a pleasant, relaxed dining experience. The one saving grace was that the food was tasty, and the half-off prices were great — so when we(party of seven) were going to another show last weekend(August 2015), we decided to give Fahrenheit one more try. Maybe our first time was a fluke? I made another reservation weeks in advance, and carefully confirmed the Happy Hour situation over the phone — and yet, when we arrived, we went through the exact same BS as before. We were seated in a different section from our last time, so I assumed it was Happy Hour-approved; but once again, when I asked about the specials, we were met with rudeness based on where THEY had seated us. Apparently, the big private party that had been booked AFTER my reservation now took precedence, and it was made clear that moving us was going to be a hassle for THEM. Worried that we would run out of time(and not thrilled with the idea of annoying the staff who would be preparing and serving our food), we ended up staying in the dining room, being told every ten minutes that they were out of what we had just ordered, being late for our show AGAIN, and paying full price for the privilege. The food was still good, but the appallingly terrible service was not worth the trouble. We’re now sadder but wiser, and we will NEVER come here again. :-(

I went to Fahrenheit Lounge for a friend’s graduation party, and I was impressed by some aspects of the venue and desired more in others. First of all, the space is quite large and comfortably fits 50+ people for mingling and dancing, but there is definitely not enough sitting space to host a large party. I only tried the food that the host chose for the party, which were two entries consisting of a veggie pasta and salad. Both were just ok and were honestly items I could cook myself at home. What I was impressed with is the venue’s «party vibe.» Food and seating aside, I think this is a great place to host a party because there is plenty of dancing space, a dedicated DJ corner and setup, an awesome cocktail bar with excellent bartenders who can make anything you want, and small tvs all around the space to display anything you want for your occasion(my friend displayed a roll of her pictures growing up). If you are looking to host a lively party(birthdays, graduations, bachelorette/bachelor parties), Fahrenheit Lounge is a great place to do it, but if you are looking to host more formal types of parties, then I do not think Fahrenheit Lounge is the right venue for your occasion.

So delicious! We went with a groupon, and after reading the mixed reviews weren’t expecting too much, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everything we had was excellent. Very flavorful and great presentation. The service was amazing. Super attentive and friendly. We came on a Monday. Maybe that’s the key? Definitely will come again!

Protip(for everything): go in with low expectations and there’s a higher chance you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t counting on anything extraordinary seeing subpar ratings on Unilocal.Yet another awesome groupon find! They have a set course menu specially for groupon users. Reservations required. Paid ~$ 50 for dinner for 2. 3⁄5 Started off with appetizers: sea bass ceviche and smoked gouda croquettes. Wasn’t a fan of the chips, and ceviche was pretty standard fare. BUT croquettes were deliciously crunchy with a delightfully warm and soft interior and mmm who can say no to gouda. Unfortunately didn’t taste too much gouda in these… flavor slightly lacking. 2⁄5 Then salad and tomato basil soup. Both were alright. Soup was a little bland although it went down smooth. Cmon I felt like I could cook this up in a couple min and I don’t even know how to make soup. 4⁄5 The mains: steak with chimichurri sauce and coq au vin. Both delicious. Meats were tender and had good flavor. I love chimichurri and this was a wonderful version of it. Lip-smackingly so. Veggies were well-cooked and I actually finished all of them! Which is a rarity. Well-done, Fahrenheit. 4⁄5 Desserts: vanilla bean panna cotta and chocolate mousse. Both were divine… richly vanilla-y and chocolate-y without being cloyingly sweet. Smoooth texture. Velvety. Silky.(Insert synonym here) Anyway, +Our waiter was friendly and checked in on us regularly to refill water –Unfortunately, he didn’t seem too well-versed on the food choices +Main entrees and desserts were the highlights of our meal, which I’m totally ok with +Trendy ambience With a groupon, a great deal! Would I be back without? Hmmm to be determined.

A friend and I enjoyed a great dinner of Kale and Nut Salad, Sea Bass, and Pancota before the theatre. All of the meal was so fresh and the preparation and presentation was outstanding. Danny, the Executive Chef and co-owner came to the table and we had a wonderful discussion about the buying of the farm to you Organic fruits and vegetables. We will be returning as I want to just try everything on the Small Plates served during Happy Hour. I definitely recommend this restaurant for the fresh organic foods and the friendly and courteous wait staff.

Used a Groupon for a 4-course meal during game 4 of the Warriors vs. Rockets finals. This review is for the restaurant, not the lounge. Interestingly, the place never got pack or full, it might be because it’s a weekday and the restaurant/lounge does not typically brand itself as a sports bar despite having the game on all of its TVs. So it was a great place for my party to sit, eat, and occasionally glance at the score as it never got too loud. There were a few other people in the restaurant but they were seated sufficiently far away where everyone had their privacy. The food itself was not very memorable, with dessert being the best out of the four courses. Cocktails were about $ 10 each and were well made, although the bartender couldn’t fulfill my first request because their espresso machine was broken. Hopefully that’s fixed now. The restaurant is located a block away from 4th street parking garage which they validate. So free parking there essentially.

We come here for happy hour a lot. The bartenders are the best. Decided to try the restaurant week menu. Started out with the Prosciutto and Smoked Gouda Croquettes. They were wonderful. Course two was Niman Ranch Grilled Skirt Steak with Charred Shishito Peppers and South American Chimichurri also very good. The desert was off the menu. Great choice during Restaurant week. Did I mention all for only $ 30.

Came here for a birthday party, and it was a nice loung-ey venue. Though we didn’t have a private room, they had semi-sanctioned off a small portion of the banquette seating in the lounge with balloons — right next to the DJ. Yes, it was loud as the music got louder, though the area was in the corner and semi-out of the way of the rest of the space. I actually did not feel like socializing too much, so it was nice ot hang out in the corner. Both the food and drinks were hosted, so it was nice to be served by super nice guys! Now, on to the food. They were appetizers being served by the staff, and we just grabbed ‘em off the plates as they were walking around. I didn’t see them listed on the web, so will do my best to decribe them here(in order of preference) - Sliders — always my favorite, and the best one! Tasted like they were fresh-made. Beef/steak skewers — they were pretty tender. Chicken skewers — meat wasn’t dry like you get with chicken sometimes. Crab cakes — pretty OK, though no WOW-factor; could’ve benefitted from some sauce! Some-raw-fish slathered on cucumber slices — UGH!!! Fish was not fresh; kind of nasty; had the texture of sludge, and kind of tasted like it also! On to the music — DJ was good, and I hit the dance floor! The venue had a pretty decent-size crowd, so that kind of amped up the energy. One last thing is that we had asked them to cut the cake(that we brought in), and kept prompting them to do so, but they waited a little longer than expected on this, so at least 1⁄3 of the guests had left before they had gotten around to doing this. FYI, our party was scheduled for 7:00pm or so, which is works out best until the younger dance crowd starts spilling in at ’round 10 – 11 pm or so.

We recently hosted our daughter’s sweet 16 party here. SOSATISFIED! We searched for venues and I am so glad we went with Fahrenheit. We met with Eric and Danny, the lounge owners, to discuss party logistics.(Danny is the Executive Chef by the way.) Planning our event with these gentlemen was a breeze! stress free from the beginning, I think the hardest part was choosing our menu, everything we tried at the food tasting was so damn delicious! Highlights: –I appreciated the fact that we were able to get into the lounge at 10:30AM for set up, this allowed us to take our time decorating and setting up –Food was AMAZING, our guests raved about everything from the Truffle Grilled Brie Cheese Sandwich bites to the Fire Grilled Hanger Steak Skewers, Thai Basil Bruschetta and Pork Sliders, everyone really enjoyed everything on the menu Some of our guests personally complimented Danny on his food and flavors. –Staff in general, all were kind and a pleasure to work with. Very accommodating, even with my last minute requests from cake plates to club lighting, etc… –Our guests appreciated the parking validation, thank you! In conclusion, Danny & Eric are true professionals! I look forward to working with them again.

I’ve always wondered what goes on here at night since I only really see this place during the day time. I happened to came here on a Friday night with some friends and I was surprised to how«meh» this place was. It has a really nice lounge-y feel and I definitely love that. The atmosphere is nice here and it’s nice to sit around with a glass of wine and talk and hangout with some friends. But what I noticed was the price of this place. All the drinks were pretty expensive. It was happy hour for wine, so I guess that made up for it. It’s definitely a place for the older crowd so it was kind of awkward being the only college kids there. They were even having a speed dating event. Overall, this place is just okay and I’m not too sure if I’ll be back.

This place is really bad Service:we wait 30 min. for drinks and after all the service come back and tell me one drink can’t complete because they no have everything to make, REALLY. Second:food, after wait 30 min the food was incomplete, the service brings the food but he forgot one, and the shrimp was under cook. Menu:we ask for dessert, they have on list around 6 o 7 and went we order they just have two And also we have to wait 30 min for dessert, definitely we won’t come back.

This review is specifically regarding private events. I worked with Eric, the manager at Fahrenheit, on my engagement party in October 2014. He was very helpful and flexible with us, and assured us that his business partner/chef, Danny, would be our on-site event manager for the evening. Leading up to the event, I worked with Eric on logistics regarding our menu of passed appetizers and limited hosted bar. He assured us that we would be in good hands with Danny, who was to be our on-site event manager. In our contract, we were to have a bartender, 2 servers and 1 busser throughout the event. We had gotten permission to arrive early to set up on the day of the event as well. When we showed up earlier in the day, our area was messy from the night before — glasses and napkins littered the tables. Danny told us that it would be cleaned up shortly after. He also told us that the area was for our private event only, and no one would be seated there prior to or during our event. We had a slideshow that Eric let us know could be put on a USB stick and plugged into the plasma TV, but we found there was no USB capability. Danny offered to burn a DVD of our slideshow and that we didn’t need to worry. We left to finish up some errands and get ready before coming back. Once we arrived, there was a large group was seated in our area and having dinner. The glasses/napkins still hadn’t been cleaned up. Danny was behind the bar, and seemed to be busy. We had a few décor items to hang up, but were unable to due to the group having dinner. Danny ended up making his way over and explained he is short staffed. I asked him for the DVD, and he said he left it at his house and basically laughed it off. At this point, I knew I had to get involved with the management of the event, otherwise it would have been a mess. I spoke with the server who was assigned to our area, and let him know exactly what the hosted drinks were(he had not been briefed on it, so we could have been paying for anything that our guests ordered). I also started directing some staff to assist with cleaning up the area, bringing in some tablecloths, moving furniture around, etc. Danny remained behind the bar, and was not assisting. As I was running around ensuring that everyone was on the same page, guests started to arrive. Passed appetizers started to go out, one server was taking orders, and no one was bussing tables. So, I ended up also bussing tables as the napkins and glasses piled up. Our guests weren’t able to get their drink order taken, so they would give up and go to the bar. Danny circled back with my fiancé and I as we were trying to get a drink at the bar, and was laughing about how our guests were ‘crazy’ and just totally nonchalant about the horrible experience we had just had with the event. Instead of enjoying our engagement party, we basically had to do a majority of the execution, which is completely unacceptable. I left Fahrenheit so angry with the level of service, and immediately reached out to Eric. He assured me that this was unacceptable, and would remedy it with Danny. Danny texted(yes, texted) me, asking me to come into the restaurant to talk it over with him. I let Eric know that it was unprofessional of Danny to text me, and Eric said that Danny would call me soon — which he never did. Fast forward to January…3 months post event. Danny e-mailed me a half-apology, and basically took off a small percentage of the bill along with offered a gift certificate. I let him and Eric know that based on our poor experience, we didn’t plan on ever going back and would rather have the gift certificate applied towards our balance to help offset the issues. No response. Early February(4 weeks after I responded), Danny sends me a follow up, basically inferring that I would be sent to collections and legal action would be pursued if I did not pay immediately. After many back and forth messages, Eric got involved and his tone had completely changed from being understanding to being threatening. He accused us of trying to avoid payment in general, when in fact, we wanted to settle the bill back in October. I was insulted by the way he responded to me, and I am in disbelief over both his and Danny’s poor communication skills. This ordeal lasted 4 months, and hosting the event there was probably the worst decision that we had made with regards to our wedding. For anyone looking into having an event here, I highly advise against it and hope that no one has the same poor experience that my fiancé and I did.

My first visit here wasn’t the best. They turned me away because of a private event, though I had a reservation for that night. BUTTHEN a little convincing from a special someone got me to try this place again. This time, there was no hassel. I was seated right away. Trevor was our waiter throughout the night. Trevor was the most charming throughout the whole night, willing to take our pictures one too many times and never showed a glimpse of attitude or hostility. He even turned on the Christmas tree for our enjoyment, we didn’t ask for this 5 star treatment! He really deserved a $ 20 tip. The food was great! Couldn’t complain at all, the New York strip was grilled to perfection and with a special order of sweet potato fries on the side you will sure to leave with a hefty weight on your belt. The salmon instead of sea bass with tomato sauce and pinto beans was great also! The night wouldn’t be complete without the special dessert of the night: macaron sundae! I’m not sure if it’s on the menu because they ran out of dessert due to banquets and many parties for the New Year. The scarce dessert was a good thing… Trust me. 3 entrees and 1 dessert = $ 90 I’m telling you, completely worth every penny. I will be sure to enquire for my next birthday bash here! My 21st on NYE! Unilocal,it’s gonna be a turn up!

We decided to have our annual staff luncheon and wanted to give this place a try. I booked the venue for about 25 people with Eric and he was a pleasure to work with. But when we arrived, there were just so many problems. First, they had 3 round tables and it we were all separated, I asked if we could have one long table because we wouldn’t be able to socialize amongst each other if we were all separated. The 2 people that were setting up was not happy about it. The guy insisted that it wouldn’t work, but I kept insisting that this is what we wanted. So finally he changed the tables but it didn’t look like he was too happy about it. Once that was done, we all started with a ceasar salad, which was a little on the bitter side. We had pre-ordered our entrees, which I thought that was all we needed to do. We had choices of pasta, chicken and ribs. The spare ribs were just ok to me, it wasn’t seasoned enough, the collard greens were really salty, but the potato croquettes were delicious. After that, our principal ordered coffee for several people, but that never came out. Then I thought that they would come around to take our orders of what everyone wants for dessert, it was either a choice of sorbet or gelato, but that didn’t happen. Instead they just gave us 2 different ones, it was a strawberry sorbet and a butterscotch gelato, which neither of these were on our printed out menu. When someone asked the waitress if we could have the chocolate, she said no, these are pre-ordered. I didn’t want to make a fuss over chocolate, so we just ate what was served. Lastly, Eric told us to park at a certain spot to get our tickets validated when we left. No one told us that it was only for 2 hours, so I arrived early and ended up paying more. More then half of our staff had to pay for an extra hour because it was only good for 2 hours. The venue itself isn’t that great for a staff lunch like this. I have never been here before so I didn’t realize how dark it kind of was. The bathroom was really bad, it looked dirty, the doors were broken and they left a bunch of toilet paper rolls under the sink. I would like to say, the bartender was great and really nice. He made great drinks and was friendly out of the 3 staff that was around. All in all, it wasn’t that great of an experience for our staff, so I would not recommend this place at all.

There’s a reason why your lounge in empty. Starts with your leadership. You’re(owner) non approachable and a liar. Maybe if you’d spend more time to improve the experience in your club instead of making your bouncers enforce ridiculous policies, people would be willing to enjoy themselves at your place of business and invite more to come with them. Since when is using a vapor pen a problem when your DJ is using a Fog(vapor) machine as well. I hope you make the money off your drinks because it won’t be from the influx of patrons. You’ll never be one of the premier venues in the area at this rate. Good luck
