Tequila Lounge

This is one amazing hotspot! The place is popping’!! Food is great, drinks, service, DJS, everything is pretty cool. So they no longer serve oysters, who cares. The TACOS, NACHOS, PIZZA, BURGERS & DRINKS ROCK!

Azucar Latin Bistro has a bar next door called, Tequila Lounge — Oyster and Tequila Bar. THEY DO NOT HAVE OYSTERS!!! That is just the name of the bar. Pretty LAME, I say! Why have oysters in your name if you don’t serve oysters??? I craved oysters all night just cuz they have a big sign on top of the bar with the word oyster. Either take out the word oyster from your sign or start serving oysters!!! Geez! I’m surprised they have tequila!
My hubby and I came here with a couple of friends after a movie at the Cinequest on a Friday night and we were THIRSTY! We walked in the bar at 10pm and the bartender said the cash register wasn’t open yet and they weren’t serving drinks yet. That was a turn off. Um… you have thirsty customers here! Start serving! We noticed they also turned down about 10 more people. They did say we could get our drinks at the bar at Azucar next door and we could come back to lounge here… and we did just that. After all, it was a cool looking lounge with music and no one else was there. The DJ was checking his equipment and he kept turning up the music… way, wayyy, wayyyy up. I thought my eardrums were about to pop out! Was that a hint??? Did he want us to leave? We still had drinks to finish so we couldn’t just leave! I was tempted, though.
After a few more drinks the place started to get a little better. There were also a lot more people coming in after 11pm. I started digging the loud music and it was fun dancing. The night got wild and crazy and I’m glad they have super cool bouncers/​security guards. Thank you, guys! What you did was freakin’ awesome!
And that’s all I’m gonna say about that *wink*.
