Very disappointed! I was expecting more variety in the games, but I would have settled for better quality. Half the games didn’t work. On the ones you thought did you would put nickels in and it wouldn’t register or the coins got stuck. Some of the joysticks didn’t work either. For kids probably not a bad place, but for adults I would settle with Dave & Busters.

After being a bingo player for a bit longer I think you realize this place is not as fantastic as other places. Yes. I definetely experienced worse. I came on the last Thursday before their summer break. They had moved their format where to buy early birds. So when I went to the window the lady was like where’s your ticket? I tried to explain to her that I haven’t been in awhile. I mean hello. early birds come before regulars.right. She was like you have to get your ticket & paper packs at the regular window first. The line is always long. I’m like ok I will get back in line for 30 minutes. Early birds start at 6:30. Somehow at 5PM you have no seats unless it’s in the back. And some of the people who sit in the back are rude. They talk smack about everyone there. It’s distracting. And if you don’t call your bingo loud sitting back there the security will just stare at you & not help you. Seats are comfy still but no spacing for the flash sellers to get to you. So when you call them they get to the closest person first. I think that’s all the update I have.

I am officially give my review to this bingo hall to 5 stars. A lot of positive changes has being made since my reviews of fairground bingo on opening night. They are well into their second year. A. They added more games. B. They change some of the games that are time consuming. The nightly drawing is awesome. C. Now they even of a super prize each sessions.(flatscreen, ps4, ipad. Ect) D. The introduction to hot balls is very exciting. E. They even have their very own fairground strips! In addition to the 500⁄1000 payout depends on how many strip are sold. The winner of this special strips gets to play bingo free for a month! And play as many packs as they can handle. F. The best part about this hall is. the environment. Its like a party environment when am here. The players seem like if they dont win. Its ok to cheered on fellow bingo goer. Its not all business like. Like the other bigger halls. The staff is second to non. lead by one of the coolest person. Thr heart and soul I believe if the hall itself. Lupe! They currently only played Tues for the summer. but in the falls they played Tues/thurs. If you are within shouting distant of the hall. I highly recommend fairgrounds bingo. One of the best in the bay area.

Updated review: Awesome atmosphere. Great prices and payouts! TONS of monitors so you never miss a number. Cheap food that tastes amazing. Free coffee. Overall a great place to check out and all proceeds go towards the youth programs of the fair :) Bad side: The caller 90% of the time seems as if he knows there is a winner. You can sense it in his voice.(Not cool, It’s getting to the point where it is not fun sometimes because of it) That being said I used to go weekly. Now I go once a month if that.

Parking is easy and plentiful. You can exit the side door after the session for faster access to the parking lot. There are two sections here and I like to sit in the area where the caller is not at. However, it gets a little noisy and the guy who works in snack bar makes a lot of noise with his music on his phone or whatever electronic games he plays and it’s very annoying. A lot of times they sell flash games but you don’t get to buy any because they sell them all on the other side. And when you do buy them, they put them on TOP of your paper as you are playing. And if that’s not annoying enough, they are super loud & yell out sexual innuendos that they think is funny but it gets old and almost vulgar. «BIGBALLSFORSALE — I HAVEBIGBALLS» etc, etc… There is only one good bingo board to look at to check your numbers. Aside from that, there are many, many t.v. monitors that you can check your numbers on, however, it is very VERY hard to see the numbers because they are very small. You can only see the current number big and bold but not the others that have been called. I complained to one of the workers about it because a lot of people have the same problem but he just told me to go tell someone else. Gee thanks, let me go tell someone else so they can tell me go tell someone else. I’ve been there 3 times now and always the same caller throughout the game. I don’t like that. There should be two of them as it gets monotonous, especially when the same people win over and over. Also count what you buy because the lady in the window that sells the strips shorted me one and when I told her she said I had to be careful because I probably dropped it. She didn’t offer to replace it and I’m quite positive I didn’t drop one!

Excellent facility, good callers, and cheap food at a good quality. Definitely a bingo hall to check out. The sellers know what they’re doing and the TVs make no mistake on what’s coming up.
