Wow this place sucks! If you have ever heard of fatburger then don’t try it here. The burgers served here are very dry! I bet they press the hell out of the burgers that make them dry and mealy.

OK burger place. Service is slow. Burger is OK but better than other fast food. It is in between Fast Food and Gourmet Burger for the basic burgers. The good part, is you can add extras as you pleased. Not the best location for the joint but I think is brings the community together since the BART is coming and see its potential for the customer’s traffic.

Burger is what expected it to be awesome! Cajun curly fries was a bomb and brew. How do you beat that!

Some people are just too funny. This place is awesome. I brought in my family for lunch before we headed over to the flea market. We had a large group, 8 adults and 2 kids. You have to expect a high price when its more than four people. Total was over a hundred, but we were given a discount. Beautiful. We sat and waited for the feast. Orders are handed and guess what, not one mistake. On point. While eating what i believed to be a mananger check with us to make sure we were happy. He said beautiful family, every complimented on the service. He gave a gift. I dont mind paying for great service. Places like this are rare now. For my second visit I have a new favorite burger place. As name implies. Fatburger.

I heard good things about this chain, but when I went there I left with the feeling of disappointment. For a group of four adults and two children, it was over 50 bucks! How is that possible at a burger place?! It’s not like it’s the Counter or anything. I enjoyed the fries the most. My grilled chicken sandwich was pretty boring and not worth the cost. Parking is a problem when it’s busy, but at least the staff is friendly.

the staff was great the place looks great the food smelled great. they were super nice and i left i tip because they were so nice they yelled«big tip» real loud and fast almost didn’t hear it. they said thank you and made me a big burger and a lot of fries. i added an egg bacon and cheese why not a lot of great options and the burger has a lot of good ingredients i’m like hell yea. I try the big burger and i was sooooo disappointed big i mean big burger and NO flavor at all. i love burger and i make my own all the time. i thought theirs would be good but seriously how do i get a big burger and no flavor makes no sense. seriously i would only go for the shakes the are GREAT.

Until today I can’t remember the last time I paid for a burger and threw half of it in the trash. Ordered a medium Fat burger combo and added cheese and an egg. Price was a bit high at 14 bucks and change. Also, meat was overlooked and the egg was just cooked to death as well. Grey meat with a rubbery egg for 14 bucks! Yeah!!! Plus side: The«fat fries» were plentiful and I basically made a meal out of that. For the caloric bomb that is eating a cheeseburger with fires you can do a lot better.

A coupon for free fries allowed me to give this Fatburger location another chance. Now even another coupon prob won’t bring me back. Why? The wait here was too long for a «fast» food chain. About a half hour for a burger and skinny fries. And the place wasn’t even busy on a Sat night. But that’s only after my order was given away to another customer who ordered way after me. After bringing it to their attention, they remade my burger but put chili on which I didn’t order. At that point, as long as the burger had egg and bacon like I requested, I would take it with the chili. Seems like a lack of focus with the employees because I saw another woman have problems with her burger twice. It’s a shame. I love Fatburger but this location doesn’t hold up the high standards I’m used to from a Fatburger chain.

One star onLy because I am FORCED to!!! What a waste of time and money!!! Came here randomLy because the initiaL spot we wanted to have dinner was super busy with an hour wait time. WompWompWomp! We come in and are immediateLy greeted with a «weLcome to FatBurger.» The cashier patientLy waits whiLe we Look over the menu and decide what to purchase. I’m not sure if the guy was high off of drugs, a new empLoyee, or possibLy a combo of both– but the kid could not get our order right! My regular skinnyburger became a Large, the originaL curLy fries became Cajun, and the bone-in wings became boneLess!!! We LiteraLLy stood around, repeating our order three times and it stiLL didn’t come out right. We ended up «ordering»: A «Large» skinnyburger with Lettuce, tomato, and onions A medium fatburger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms & the works of condiments OriginaL curLy fries that had patches of Cajun seasoning &6 pc garLic honey wings(that were supposed to come with veggies but didn’t) Cons: –Our order was INCORRECT –We were charged for a «Large» skinnyburger and were given ONE& A HALF dry, skimp beef patties that looked like someone had already chewed it up.(I would honestly hate to see what a reguLar skinnyburger serving looked like.) –Some of the fries were undercooked, pale, and very Limp. –Our wings didn’t come with the veggies and when we asked about them, we were then given carrot sticks that looked like they were someone else’s leftovers. The food is definiteLy mediocre. I feLt Like we wouLd have saved money and been better off going to the nearest McDonaLds. SAVEYOURMONEYPEOPLE– DON’T COMEHERE!!!

After much anticipation Fat Burger is open and I’m finally reviewing my experience here. The location of this place wasn’t the best. The parking didn’t seem particularly good but for the amount of business they seem to get I can see why their parking lot isn’t as big as I’d expect. The layout for the place is pretty nice however. Seating all around, with a nice color scheme. In truth the way things were laid out was sleek, clean and easy to read. There were a bit of issues that we noticed here however. They had an uncovered lemonade dispenser, full of lemonade sitting there and some of the napkin dispensers were empty. The food was a bit overpriced here. We ordered the XXL Burger combo which came out to something around $ 14. Luckily you get a huge burger for what you pay for. The cajun fries were pretty good, a bit greasy but that’s fast food for you. The burger itself was decent, unfortunately 2 patties of dry meat wasn’t that amazing but the sauce inside saved it a bit. Overall not the best burger around but I wouldn’t mind coming back once in awhile to grab a burger, albeit I do think there are better alternatives.

I pass by every day coming home from work going through to get to 101⁄280 and noticed that it recently opened. The parking lot is FAR too small for the number of tables they have and there is no street parking unless you park 2 blocks down. We managed to get a spot but had to wait for 2 rather unsavory characters to finish smoking, scowl at us, then move from the parking space. You know the local type, tattood necks, acting like morons. The staff was courteous and who I think was the manager went out of his way to welcome us and get a menu for my wife since she had trouble reading the billboard. The girl taking our order was pleasant, but the massive hickey on her neck was a bit distracting and truly unprofessional for a place with prices like this. We ordered a medium burger(lettuce, mayo, bacon, and shrooms), an xxl burger(everything — relish, +egg, +bacon), 1 skinny fries, 1 fat fries, 1 strawberry shake, and a york peppermint shake. We took a seat noting the majority of customers were the same type of unsavory people we ran into in the parking lot. The shakes were out in 5 minutes and they were pretty decent, then we waited. 20 minutes later the burgers finally arrived. The burgers were were luke warm, beyond overdone, and dry as a bone. Usually my point to get the bigger burger, XXL, is to ensure that it is thick and juicy, preferably medium rare if it’s good meat, but this was 2 beyond well done thin patties. To top is off the egg on my burger had the yolk popped and was well done, no juicy yellow yolk at all. The fries were hot, and done well, but zero seasoning which I suppose is a good thing. Price wise 5 guys, Johnny Rockets, or any number of other burger joints would be a better spend of your money. Not too say that Fat Burger is too expensive, just too expensive for what it is. We ate at the Grill on Friday night and with a $ 250 bill I didn’t bat an eye, but spending $ 40 for overcooked hamburgers is a bit much. TLDR: limited parking, pleasant staff, long wait, low class customers, over cooked dry burgers.

Despite the negative reviews on this location(which just opened recently), I decided to try it for myself. TIP: there is online ordering! Take advantage of this. I did and by the time I got there(within 15 min), my food was ready. Make sure you don’t stand in line to ask about your online order(just go directly to the pick up section and show your email confirmation). PROS: the cookies & cream milkshake is yummy, good balance of cookie bits & sweetness. CONS: the small burger *is* really small. I wasn’t wow-ed by the taste of the burger, even after adding a fried egg. Also, the fat fries & skinny fries tasted boring/ordinary and didn’t look fresh, I even like McDonald’s fries better. COST: 3 small burgers(1 with an egg), 1 small fries, 1 mixed small/fat fries, 1 maui shake, 1 cookies and cream shake = about $ 33. Overall, I would recommend just going here once just to try it — but it didn’t make it on my top 5 burger joint list.

Finally getting around to writing a review for this place and honestly I don’t think they are worthy of a review but I owe it to myself to tell my experience and to forewarn others. I’ve waited IMPATIENTLY for this location to open for what seems like a good 1 ½ to 2 years, this one is much closer than driving to Livermore. When I was told of a FatBurger opening here I was so excited because I love their burgers, it’s a must go to spot in LA and that’s the only time I would eat there until now. So as time went by and I would drive 20 miles out of the way to check on this place, I started to get the feeling they would never open. After coming back from vacation I was tipped off that they finally got their stuff together and opened and not to rave reviews but I still had to try them out and see if maybe they were indeed worth the wait. When I walked in there were quite a few people here but nothing like I’d expected, I for sure thought I would be waiting in a long line around the corner lol. Now I know Fatburger is expensive but this location seems to have really hiked up the pricing or something. I got a medium Fatburger w/cheese, fries and a drink and that cost me about $ 14, way overpriced. I paid and still had high hopes. Although there were quite a few people there, I think the wait for my food should have been less than 20 minutes since it looked like they rushed and threw my burger together anyways. After finally getting my food it just looked disappointing and that first bite of the burger was horrible. The patty was falling apart, it had way too much pepper and just lacked that real flavor that I’m used to from Fatburger and the fries were even worse, the fat fries were soft, soggy and undercooked. They didn’t have any seasoning and I forgot to bring my season salt with me so they were just blah. Even the soda tasted funny, like really you guys can’t even get the soda machine to crank out good soda either. I’m so mad that I wasted my time, money and appetite on such a disappointing meal, next time I will go to Super Duper Burger or drive to the Fatburger in Livermore. This was my first and last time coming to this location. *You have been warned*

TERRIBLE!!! It took over 40 minutes to get our order. I lost track of time after that. It was fairly slow today. Not many guests but we had a long wait for our food. SERVICEWASVERYSLOW!!! I ordered the wings and tenders combo. In the box, there were 2 itty bitty pieces of tenders. They were about the same size as the celery and carrot sticks. TINY!!! The potato chips were far toooooooooo salty. Tasted like I was eating a mouthful of salt. So gross!!! A little goes a long way!!! It was inedible!!! The wings were okay. Just okay… The Death Valley heat on my wings was more like Tabasco. The amount of heat left me very disappointed. The XXL burger was a large burger. Nothing for me to rave about or knock. It was a decent burger. I won’t be returning!!! This place left much to be desired. So not worth the wait!!!

«No Helicopter looking for a murder; two in the morning, got the Fatburger» — Ice Cube, «It Was a Good Day» Fatburger(FB) is a SoCal burger franchise that was started in 1952 by Lovie Yancey. They’re the biggest competitor to perennial favorite In-N-Out, but have only had a presence in SoCal – until recently. Per the FB website, the grand opening of this location was supposed to be sometime in September/October of 2013 – and yet here we are now in September 2014, and –after getting snubbed more times than I can count with false promises– it has *finally* happened. So, with girded anticipation, my co-worker and I made our way here to see what the fuss is all about. I ordered the standard meal that any burger joint worth their salt should be able to muster: burger, fries and a shake. Burgers– FB’s burgers come in a range of sizes that you order like a T-shirt(M[1/3lb], L[½lb], XXL[1lb], XXXL[1.5lb!]). I opted for the L with«The Works.» The hamburger itself can be summed up with one word: Meh. The Bun was fresh, but nothing special; the toppings were standard; and the meat was flavorless and over-cooked. 1.5* Fries– I ordered the«Fat Fries,» which are essentially FB’s version of a steak fry. They came out cold, under-cooked and under-seasoned – color me underwhelmed. 1* Shakes– The one redeeming factor to my meal was the strawberry shake. Made with real ice cream, their shakes should be able to satisfy anyone’s craving. Real fruit, real ice cream, real delicious! 4.5* Location– FB is located in a newish strip mall –in a ghetto-fabulous Eastside ‘hood– that’s been empty since it was built ten years ago. The parking lot(which only holds 24 cars) is shared with a dentist office and a soon to open market. Street parking is also limited, but available. 2* Service & Ambiance– The employees were all very nice and eager to please, but I could tell that, despite already being open a few weeks, they still have a few kinks to work out. The store itself is clean, spacious and kept very cold. FB also seems to draw in a rather motley crew; on my visit I saw techies, construction workers, and your ubiquitous Eastside trash. 3.5* Value– FB doesn’t offer a very good value, as I paid almost $ 16($ 15.84) for my meal and –other than the shake– it was all complete garbage. 1.5* After months of waiting, much harumphing and a lot of kvetching the day finally arrived, and I have to say that FB was a complete disappointment. Despite all the snafus and anger I had for FB, I did my best to keep an open mind and I really wanted it to be good – because I love burgers and this area is in dire need of good food. In the category of «Fast Food Burger,» FB is at the bottom of my rankings; well behind my Top-3 of Smashburger, Juicy Burger & In-N-Out. The only reason this is a 2-star, and not 1-star, is because of the shakes, but other than that, I’d highly recommend to save your money and skip it.

Well the wait was finally over to try the food. Parked across the street. Was in line for 45minutes ordered a cajun chicken burger, fat fries and a strawberry shake. 30min later got my food and truth be told it was gross. the chicken was cold, the fries unsalted not even ranch could save them. The milkshake was the BEST thing they had Such a shame that the food was NOT worth the wait. As i had mentioned, i parked across the street, low and behold i got towed. Seriously, a disappointing meal and my car nowhere to be found. Expensive cheap meal and my car towed. No thanks

Oh so where do I even start??? I’m completely dissatisfied with this place. Not only because of the wait but because of the cost also. Coworkers and I came here for lunch. When we got there the line was short, so we thought we scored and got there at a good time. Ok fine we ordered then we waited, and waited and waited some more. 40 minutes went by before we got our order. not only that but my coworked added cheese, which he paid for but didnt receive. It was a complete mess Theres lots to talk about so stay with me… The Food: ok the food was alright, nothing spectacular at all. Some of the burgers were not even warm. Some burgers were missing toppings. The fries were a bit above average, not too over cooked like other places. Again, nothing spectacular. They say its«100% Lean ground beef» but after looking at their nutrition label its close to an 85⁄15 which is lean, but not too lean. The Price: This place is over priced in my opinion. For a «Large» ½lb burger(which was probably weighed BEFORE cooking), drink and fries you’d pay around $ 13. YESTHATSRIGHT $ 13!!! This is plain with no cheese. If you want cheese then add $ 1. The Staff: The people that were delivering the food were nice. The girl at the register was rude. When signing the receipt after paying, she rudely threw a pen our way to sign with. Not only that but the manager in the back was being rude to her employees. Now, I understand that you are busy and stressed but you’re in a business that deals with customer service. Bottom line, Its too expensive for a basic burger…
