Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I was not too satisfied with my meal. Perhaps the fact that it was completely empty during lunch rush hour should’ve been a sign. Anyways, I got a carne asada super burrito, which was pretty big in size, but not very tasty. The rice was brittle and dry, and the carne asada was tough, bland, and too many bites had either gristle or ligament. The chips are kinda pricey at $ 2 for a small bag, and they are somewhat stingy with the salsa. For almost 9 total, I didn’t feel I got my money’s worth. Servicewise, however, the lady behind the counter was very sweet and friendly, but it’s just not enough to bring me back.

Is there really only one other review for Fiesta Taqueria? I don’t know if I’m surprised or not, actually. It’s located in a little run-down strip mall, with an Indian grocery and a lounge for neighbors. I’ve passed it many times but never really bothered to go in. Thankfully I did the other day! Boyfriend and I came in and ordered takeout. 4 carne asada tacos and one quesedilla to share(I forgot the name of it, but it’s huge and has everything in it!) It’s a pretty small place. Maybe 8 tables. I wouldn’t mind eating in one of these days, but we took the food home. Oh goodness, it is so delicious! The carne asada was perfectly seasoned and crispy and juicy at the same time. The quesedilla was so good that I ate it even though I was stuffed from the tacos. We also got some Mexican Coca Cola which is a treat. Real sugar, wahoo! It’s been a couple days since we ate here and I’ve been craving it ever since. I think I’ll end up giving into it today… or right now.

Get the SOPES and make sure to get the refried frijoles. Oh snap! My wife can eat a half gallon of the beans all by herself. Sweet! The sopes are HANDMADE, which is rare nowadays. You can choose your fave animal to top it off. I dig the chicken. Say hello to Mari when you are there!
