To bad the place is run by a girl who is clueless how to run a bar. Pizza is very good and the Italian sub is great. She seems to be the one who makes you feel like a hassle why you are there. She is busy talking to whoever and when you need a beer or anything you feel like it is taking away from her social life. I used to go there a lot but I am done with it. Hope it goes under or bought out by some one who has a clue. Hey lady, the people who come in are the ones who talk and help pay the bills. I know you do not care but you will on closing day.

My favorite place to grab a drink! The bartender Sam is always so nice and outgoing and the atmosphere is chill. A lot of cool regulars that are welcoming of the newbies and the drinks are delicious! The girls know how to make a mean drink. Whether its a weekday or weekend this place is great! Stop by and see for yourself.

Great bartenders. Friendly regulars. Pool, darts, jukebox(unless the Sharks are playing). Recently remodeled, fresh looking dive bar.

Went here on a slow afternoon & had a decent time. Your basic dive/sports bar, but they have darts! The real kind, with metal tips & math you have to do yourself. Prices & pours are decent. I had a bad experience with one drunken, slurring, & offensive idiot who found it appropriate to grab my skirt, pull it up, & try to stick his head down for a look-see. UGH. He would NOT leave me alone, but luckily I had my very tall, very sturdy, works-in-security male friend with me who rushed outside @ my call & handled the situation. Little man picks up a chair when my friend asks him to back off & «apologize to the lady» & thinks he stands a chance? He didn’t. Afterwards we returned to our seats at the bar. When the female bartender heard about the situation, she offered me a free drink, apologized, kicked that loser out & told me to tell her if I experienced anymore trouble. I really appreciated her concern & gesture.

Good sports bar. Hanged out for Super Bowl and the ambience was awesome. Good food and nice drinks.

I have been visiting this bar for several months now. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t enjoy myself. The place is full of regulars, but everyone is friendly. It’s a great,(very) casual place to grab a drink. I’m a big people watcher and there is NEVER a lack of things to see. I have been here by myself [showed up early waiting for friends on numerous occasions(which is weird because I’m always late)] and I’ve never been uncomfortable or left out. I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys real dive bars!

This is not a good place at all unless you already know the people. People here are very cliquish, and that includes the bartenders. In fact the bartender was kinda rude. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a nice friendly bar… This isn’t it.

Nothing more to say here other than this place flat out stinks! I dont see any reason to come here unless ur on the dart team or something! Try Park Lane Lounge or Redi Room for a better atmosphere!

The bartender let me pay for my $ 4.50 bar tab on my credit card. Yay! I was surprised she didn’t make me use their ATM, or tell me that they had a minimum for credit cards. That automatically gives this place 4 stars for convenience. I saw their Guinness machine and thought they had Guinness on tap, but unfortunately they only had it in a can. It never tastes the same out of a can. Overall, this seemed like a pretty safe and low-key place to have a few drinks with friends.

pretty much like any other dive bar with interesting characters and drunken adventures waiting to happen. the crowd here is usually older, at least when i have gone(which is only twice). They are well stocked with all of the requisite liquor and beer you’d expect so you’ll never have to ponder over some dreary list of house cocktails. some of the interesting characters include one female bartender with a jarringly deep voice, one young guy(really tall and bald) who always orders a pitcher of what looks like bud light, and a small gaggle of middle aged men scoping out the meat market. i’ve even seen a mullet or two… it really is good times and unpretentious as the other reviews say.

I can see how this place might be viewed as a trashy dive bar, but I must say that I have met a lot of great people at the Score. This place is a great neighborhood bar where anybody and everybody is welcome and treated well. This place has a lot of local following, so if you go there a few times you are bound to run into some friendly faces. The bartenders are super cool, the drinks are cheap, and the entertainment factor is always a major plus due to the local feel of this place. I can’t say enough about all of the cool peeps that I have met at The Final Score!

Went here last night with a bunch of friends. We stood out because we definitely not part of the regular crowd. The regular crowd was friendly enough, the bartender was nice, and the drinks were really cheap. And thats why this place gets 3 stars. It’s in an older, under stated strip mall on Saratoga Ave. Kinda fun for something different and casual.

I have to give this place a higher rating cause I met a hot guy here. Some people call it trash… or white trash… but honestly… I’d rather hang around with the«trash» then those of you who think you’re too good. And one more thing, when I went… i didn’t see so much white trash, I saw a lot of Hell’s Angels… go ahead… go walk up to them and call them trash. hahahahaa… let’s see who’s laughing then? I like this place… drunk on 3 drinks and NOT pretentious. «all-one»

Wow hmm… Funny LR mentions the Huddle. We used to love that place. This place? Not so much. Unfortunately, I think trash might be the nicest way of describing the crowd. I don’t know. But it wasn’t even really trash as much as just low class? HAHA. Okay, maybe I have to give it another chance and re-review…

The people are friendly but aside from the booze in this place.(Which is a given for any bar.) I wasn’t impressed. The people seem friendly enough but the place was just kind of. Blah. Lot’s of white trash, don’t get me wrong, I love me some white trash but, maybe a bit much. Or maybe it was the fact there were 5 people total in the joint? Friends of mine enjoy watching the game here but. Not being a sports fan this place has little to offer. I’ll give it a shot again in a few months and see if my perception changes, maybe I was just grumpy?

If you were a frequent visitor to The Huddle, you’ll recognize Joe and Carl, the proud owners of this establishment. I won’t go into detail about The H, it’s part of San Jose’s underbelly and I’d like to keep it that way. But let’s just say that this bar does a nice job of picking up where The Huddle left off. So convenient to be within a block of Amato’s, but did you have get rid of the shuffleboard?
