Run, Run, run away from this place as fast as you can. We lived there for 10 years. Moved out last year. Our rent was increased the max every year & since I’ve moved I’ve watched it go up between $ 400-$ 500 for the same dump it was when I left last year. I cringe at their ads & want to warn prospective renters. The mgmt. seems real nice outwardly but wait until you really have a problem. They are extremely unsupportive. Neighbors/Atmosphere: This place is like a mini day care center. Tons of kids running around at all hours(except during school hours). Screaming at the top of their lungs. It’s so outrageously loud. Laundry Rooms: a dump. Machines constantly not working. The people who clean them try to keep up with the cleaning but by afternoon each day & on the weekends they are disgusting. Crime: Our car was broken into 3 times living there. Our neighbors car was broken into also & heard of many other’s with same issue. This occurred right in the complex carport, not on the street. our biggest issue: Structurally, The complex is falling apart, They just band aid all the problems. If you look closely at the wood cabinets in bathrooms & kitchen you’ll see how they’re rotting away, so much termite damage. many of the drawers don’t open close/properly. In summer your patio will be covered in termites. Our place & everyone who lives on ground floor especially had a terrible spider problem. We would find on average, 2 – 4 spiders per day. Many times more. found baby spiders living up in the thick popcorn ceilings. They painted when I moved in & the literally spray painted right on top of cobwebs in the cupboards. There is no soundproofing between units. We could hear my neighbors snoring at night, hear them peeing *not just toilet flushing but actually peeing, coughing, talking, Every morning when their cell phone went off(at 5 am) it might as well have been in our room. They make it look really nice on the surface with new paint etc. & they’ve fixed up a couple of units to show it as a really nice place, but beware. It’s just smoke & mirrors. If you move in, I guarantee you will regret it within the 1st month. You’ll see what the place is really like underneath it all. If you live on bottom floor the sound from up top is awful. it’s even worse now that they’ve put in the Faux wood floors. You hear EVERYTHING! We are grateful every day for having moved out of that place & now, when I see ad’s for the Foothill Apts. for rent(as I am helping a friend look on craigslist), I just cringe. I’m almost in disbelief that they could ask the amount of $ they’re asking for that dump. $ 2495& higher! It’s UNREAL& outrageous. Not worth it at all. We lived there for under $ 2k /month just last year & it wasn’t worth it. We celebrated when we moved out. I would say if you did move in, that a reasonable rent amount should be about $ 600/month for a 2 bedroom. I know how much we would have appreciated feedback like this when we were considering moving into this place. My only reason for taking the time to write this is to hopefully help someone else with some very honest, unbiased, unsolicited information about these apartments. Find another place.

I would advise you to stay clear away from this apartment complex. I was warned by the neighbors in the complex that they would nickel and dime you on your deposit so that you would not get one penny back. I did not believe this to be true since all the previous three apartments that I had lived in returned at least 50% of my deposit. My wife and I thoroughly cleaned the apartment and primed the walls to the point that it was move in ready. We recieved the notice today that they convienently took the last water and garbage bill out of our deposit as well as the PG&E even though we have not occupide the residence for the last month. It seams suspitious that it all added up to the exact penny of our deposit. I feel that they are liars and cheats and have for the first time been swindled by a land lord. The airconditioner never did work and the stove top never did get fixed. The only thing that I have to say that is good about the place is that it is quiet.

We did not end up living here… but we did tour the place. Upon arrival the management was very nice(they always are). The real issue I have with this complex is the price. The apartment we were shown was nice, clean and the sq ft. was good, but they wanted WAY too much money for what they showed us. The Area is OK, but the laundry rooms seem like a nasty cluster-F**k. The huge reason we did not end up here is they wanted $ 1000 Pet Deposit, Vet records, and a monthly pet rent. So we’d be paying $ 1895 a month, after putting $ 4500 down just to move in. I guess, if you could afford that, Good for you! But if I could afford that, I would be looking to buy a house.
