Place is over run with flea market vendors that constantly trash the aisles and leave debris that can and has flattened tires. They left storage lockers unlocked and with the doors open for days on end right next to my locker. Would have made it real easy for someone to break into my locker. Only good thing I can say about them is they didn’t hit me with a price increase in over 1 year.

WTF! How desperate is The Captain now? Reviewing a self storage place? That’s just pathetic! Or is it? What if this place is really special? What if the folks who manage it are among the best in that business? What if stuff stored there is safer than in most storage units because the managers live on premise, and the facility is small enough to be easily secured and patrolled? And… Think about this. Their rates are among the least expensive The Captain, and Ma Megabyte have found quoted anywhere, not that we would even consider trusting our«stuff» to any other place! Yup, it’s all true. Charlotte and her husband have managed this place and lived on site for, well… since The Captain can remember, and that’s a long time, seeing as he and Ma have been renting here for more than a decade now. Charlotte is tough as nails, takes no crap from anybody, and runs a tight, safe facility! She is also adored by her many long-term tenants and is one of the nicest folks we have known and done business with, both as small business owners, and as private customers. That being said, what also sets this place apart is the sense of community existing here, which we have never encountered anywhere in a storage place, ever! Most of us tenants may not know each other’s names, but we are certainly«nodding acquaintances», nonetheless. Lets see… There’s the guy who practices his keyboard on weekends here, thereby avoiding his residential neighbors ire at all the noise. There are at least two, and perhaps one more family who buy second hand merchandise, wholesale from Goodwill and The Salvation Army, sort it, pack it, and take it South to Ensenada or thereabouts to sell it to Mexican nationals who otherwise lack access to these goods at reasonable prices. And there’s a guy who has a rented space to store his toy collection. Lots of private tenants and small business tenants add up to quite an interesting bunch. This place used to be nearly full to capacity, but like many places in their business, they have a large selection of available units of all sizes due to the economy. Got stuff? Need a place to «stuff it»? Look no further… «What’s that?» (Phone ringing) «Hello? Oh, Hi Charlotte… What? I forgot to lock up my space again?(Sh**!) Old Bill took care of it for us and told you about it? Well thanks so much!(again!) and if you see him before we do, say thanks for us. What a guy… Yeah, I know, I’d forget my a** if wasn’t nailed on, very funny! You too sweetie… Thanks again.» See what I mean? Cheers, Captain Pie Hole, The Hash House Avenger.
