Bar tender Brian took great care of me at the Hideaway.
Crunched into a wicked lettuce wedge smothered in blue cheese, caramelized onions and a barbell of crispy Bacon… Perfect with any one of their craft beers on tap.
Good times and tasty nutrition to be had at the Hideaway.

Wow I remember this place three years ago New Year’s eve when I got off work at 11:45 and I knew was going to be midnight and I had no alcohol at home I went to this place to have my drink for New Year’s and it was awesome cool People… I hope it’s still the same it’s been a while. now I live less than a mile away

Tried to give this place a chance again. 1:30 in the morning and driving home from Morgan Hill. Went in to get a shot and beer and bartender says she already called last call and wasn’t serving any more. 1:30? I could understand 1:45 but 1:30. Way to lose a lot of business considering everything else is closed in the neighbor hood. Used to enjoy hanging out at this place.

A friendly neighborhood bar with friendly bartenders. If you are like me and like the dive bar seen with pool, darts, jukebox, & interesting cast of regulars; this is worth exploring.
If it is 12am on Wednesday through Saturday and your South San Jose bar is about to close, head on over to the Hideaway. They are pretty much staying open until 2am those nights.

If Trinity and Josephine keep getting cut shifts this bar is going down hill quickly. The manager doesn’t know how to treat their BEST employees! They are by far the best in what they do and what they bring to the table. Jen can kick rocks in flip flops!

Lindsay bartender was great. Talkative. Great customer service. Sports bar with pool table and darts. Great liquor selection. Decent beer selection but mostly bottles. Won’t break the bank. Interesting jukebox selection not everyone will like but hey pay to play brother if you have complaints.

My buddy and I came in after reading some other reviews. Really expected the place to be a lil better but luckily Ms. Trinity came into work and saved the evening for us. Her great attitude and awesome smile made the night. She gets 5 stars but I cant exactly reccomend anything else. Ill probably come back and try the tacos.

I really like this place. It’s low key, friendly and there’s a lot of room for playing pool. I don’t know what’s wrong with JJ s. (the idiot who was spouting trash about sucking fingers or whatever back in October), but he obviously belongs with the other Santana Row snobs (read: JEALOUS TROLL). This is a nice, neighborhood bar that I will continue to frequent. Josie is really nice and accommodating. It’s a cozy place to be on a rainy afternoon. I will definitely go there again.

I’m right up the street From The Hideaway Lounge and I’ve found it to be an amazing Establishment!!! The bartenders are respectful and quick to strike a convo on slow days. Fri Sat are a Hit!!! Regular and new… all Patrons are the Best!!!

LOVE THE BARTENDERS!!! These ladies are beautiful with sparkling personalities, it’s a great place for hanging friends, the regulars are respectable. Tasha, Josie, and Lindsey are always welcoming and friendly. Making this my regular after work hang out.

Very trashy. a bartender was letting a drunk customer kiss on her hands and suck on her fingers. Did she was her hands… nope. the girls left the bar area to play pool, and go outside, Number one rule broken. Fruit lies everwhere which shows you done clean your bar correctly. Its a great place for males who want to flirt with the pretty bartenders or suck on bartender fingers. They had no care for the 3 drunk men in there, they kept yelling and falling on the floor. Should have been cut off a long time ago. no management. Wont be back.

Stayed close by, pulled up Unilocal and found this joint. Walked in and found what I expected, a cool place for a drink. Now, if you don’t like tattoos, the occasional (or frequent) country song on the juke box, or a place to grab a drink, then you shouldn’t come. Being a traveler from the southeast it was right in my wheelhouse. Had a few whiskeys and it was great by me. If I ever stay close again, I will come back. If you have a pretty tattooed bartender that is drinking from a «fuck face» cup, give her an extra buck or two tip from me!

Let me preface this by saying that I gave this place 4 stars when comparing it to other drinking establishments in this immediate area. If you are reading my review now, you are probably really bored out of your mind right now and don’t want to drive far at all. The drinks here are cheap and there is a pool table. The crowd here isn’t too old either which is nice.
