Qs is a great local bar. All of the bartenders are super friendly and make you feel very welcome! There are daily drink specials and not to mention happy hour starts at noon and goes til 5. There is free pool on Wednesdays and Sunday’s are bbq days! They are also super dog friendly!!’ This is my go to spot when I want a good drink. They even have good beers on tap! I recommend this place to everyone!

Definitely a local bar. Also kind of a better biker bar. Pulled up and two big bikers were standing out front. I’m not from around here and am on business attire. As I walked in one of the bikers asked how I was doing and was very friendly. Went in and it’s a dive bar but they have a good tap lineup(I had obsidian stout on nitro) and everyone was friendly, including the bartender(who knew everyone in there).

I go there at least once a week for few cold ones after work or during the week end after a long ride. Next to salvation tattoo studios. You’ll see some bikers there. It’s *very* divey, dark, small… but it’s quite rock’nroll! Very friendly staff, cheap drinks(they have a different special every day!). There is a motorcycle parking right in front. Pool table and free food/BBQ on sundays!

Little dive bar that has a music, tv’s and a pool table. Seems like mostly locals go here. Super casual and cheap drinks makes this a comfortable place to visit.

Love their selection of craft beers on tap! Prices are damn reasonable! The place is a total dive bar. Kind of challenging to find if you haven’t been here before. The late day crowd is definitely an older crowd, kind of hick lol the bartenders are nice and friendly. Pool Table and juke box, a plus.

Cool place. Good pool table and some good competition. If it was closer to home would probably go more often. Drink prices are reasonable.

Closest bar to home and friendly enough to keep me going back. Yes, it is a dive bar, but it is my dive bar

Eh. The boy and I wanted to grab a drink at a low-key bar on a Friday night so we gave Q a try. There was maybe 30 people inside, country music in the background, people aren’t all fancied up, and the drinks are cheap! We got a beer and a cosmo for $ 8. The beer was your standard beer, but the cosmo tasted like watered cranberry juice. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t go back, but that’s probably the environment wasn’t my type. Oh, but they have a juke box… I think it was a juke box?

I have been here a few times in the past and never felt very welcome. It’s very clickish. Today I came in and gave the bartender four dollars for a 3.50 beer. I intended on having more beers and leaving a tip for all the beers. She automatically put my change in her tip jar and never left me an option. Instead of staying for more, I left after one. She not only lost out on more tips, the bar lost out on more sales.

Great Dive bar. If you’re intimidated by Harley Davidson bikers in their leathers and big tough guys playing pool, this is not the bar for you. Happily, I am not, so settled right in to watch the wrestling and other sport up on the screens behind the bar. They seem to have drinks specials on every day, and food/drink combo deals mid-week and at the weekend so lots on offer. I initially ordered a Bloody Mary, but after being handed something that I can only describe as sea-water, I changed it to a Budweiser. The bar lady was very nice about it and there was no drama. My whole experience here was a good one, and as Dive bars go I found it pretty authentic. Definitely recommend stopping by to quench your thirst if you’re in the area.

This is the quintessential dive bar at its best! If you are expecting a super clean atmosphere and all that jazz, this is not going to be your place. If you are, however, looking for a great place to grab a beer or shot, shoot some pool, and shoot the shit, you’ve come to the right place. I have had some pretty awesome service from multiple bartenders. They are on it! If you are not sure about what you want to drink, they can help you out. They also have nightly drink specials, as well as free pool on Wednesdays. This place has a few regulars, and they always seem to have a monthly special event, like a pot-luck or something, which makes this place feel especially homey. They have an awesome drink and draft selection(although I keep wishing for some Angry Orchard, cuz I am a sucker for ciders). They have a juke box available with a pretty decent selection. I have heard anything from heavy metal to funk. Just so you know, if you are only planning on having a beer, bring some cash. They have a $ 20.00 minimum, although there is an ATM located in the bar as well. This is definitely a place that I would frequent, should you be in the neighborhood!

Such a random day that I found myself … in a bar … in South San Jose … at a hole in the wall. It was really cute and small, but heck … the atmosphere was more alive in there in the afternoon! WOW! A slightly older crowd, but hey, cool place to grab a drink in the day time and randomly win at pool against a new friend haha! I ordered a «Girl Scout Cookie» and the bartender actually made it really well! It was a creeper type of drink though… just saying. Lol

Q’s is a little hole in the wall that locals frequent. It’s a small place & usually has a cool crowd. Bartenders are fine. I personally dig the interior design. They have a special drink every night which is super cheap so that’s amazing! If you want something to wet your whistle. swing by.

When is this bar going to get new management? The bar seems to have potential. It’s not got a lot of competition and the bartender’s are all nice but not very easy on the eyes. The problem with this place is the owner micro manages his employee’s and it doesn’t seem like he’s very progressive. He keeps the bar dingy and unappealing to everyone outside of dingy and unappealing people. It used to be a good place to go after work and have a drink and watch a game before heading home but now it’s homeroom for tweaker’s and low lives. Used to be a nice kick back pub, that’s why I gave it 2 stars, but now it’s a terrible place to be caught in.

I’ve been to Q’s a few times now. often for a guys night out. Ever since my first visit, it’s been my go-to dive bar when I’m looking for a place to go just hang out and have a few beers. Q’s has a good selection on tap with some daily drink specials(I really get a kick out of names for the drink specials). I don’t usually order the drink specials, but they seem popular. The crowd looks to be made up of locals/regulars and overall a chill group of people out just having a good time. There’s usually music playing off a jukebox and a pool table. The bartenders are friendly, fast, and fun to chat with. They may take credit cards, but I think there’s a min charge(I always bring cash).

Great little dive bar!!! Nice, friendly crowd and really good bartenders. The place has a really relaxed atmosphere, and a ton of different beers on tap. It gets a little crowded on bigger game days and at peak evening hours, but nothing so bad like it’s a jammed club or anything like that. If you get hungry there’s a little caesars across the way as well as a 7-eleven for munchies. Ample parking most of the time in this strip mall location too, so it’s definitely not a hassle to come here. They have some great daily drink specials, always something new and a fun surprise. There’s pool and darts if you are so inclined, and in addition to the standard barstools, a comfy, long, 70’s style vinyl couch along the wall to relax on. If I lived closer this would for sure be a regular stop!

This place has been around in the neighborhood for ages! It has survived many different years and owners. A good friend of mine used to own this place and eventually sold the place after working there for a few years as a bartender. It a small little dive in the corner of the Cahalan Square shopping center. If your not a local you may not even see the dang place! Simple and easy place to grab some beers/liquor with friends, they do have a pool table, darts, juke box. The place is usually filled with regulars from the area and the bartender are relatively nice. There is a 7 – 11 nearby for anyone whose stuck with those late night munchies. There is never a problem finding parking and usually the place isn’t super packed causing waits for drinks. The only downside is that they close @ 12pm, so don’t wait till the last minute for your last call!

I went here a while back when I was unemployed and in the mood to kick it with the rest of the unemployed people at a local dive bar. I ended up going back recently with my wife because they have $ 4 Jack and Coke Fridays. They also have a different ladies drink special almost every night of the week. While they have couch seating, a decent sized bar, a few seating tables and a pool table — the place is in a room barely bigger than my condo’s living room. This wouldn’t be a problem, but as one of the few safe places one can get a drink late night on the south side that isn’t off of the sketchy neighborhoods along Monterey Highway it can get packed pretty easily. During the day there usually isn’t more than four or five people in there, so that’s the best time to go if you’re looking to get away from the mainstream and yuppie aspects of life. Reminded me of when I used to live in Campbell and frequent The Escape.
