Holly’s Nail Design

Never had a bad experience till now And since my last visit here, when the polish came off my nail I noticed my nail yellow with white marks. I swear my nail better not fall off or get f@$!# nasty… #pissed

They could honestly clean up a bit but they do nails pretty well. I got my nails done by holly & she did them so good. Better than a lot of places that have made me pay $ 40 & broke a nail literally the next day cause the acrylic is too thin. I didn’t like how I called and they said acrylic nails is $ 15 & when I got there she said $ 18. They’re now my go to nail salon

This is the Pro:
I like getting my nails done by the lady that’s always at the front or by Jessie /​Jenny? They take their time and are careful to make sure your nails look pretty. If you go with a specific idea in mind, they’ll try their best to satisfy you.
Con:
About a month ago I went to do my nails. I was in a hurry and didn’t see any of the two ladies who I prefer to do them, so I had to let another lady (round face, curly hair, & wears glasses) do them for me. I must say it was the worst mistake ever!!! She is SLOPPY and HARSH.
1) she put so much glue one the fake tip that it literally got stuck to the tips of my fingers and she then dug in her sharp ass nail in between them to separate.
2) she cut me not once, but 3 times! I tugged my hand away and she pulled it back to continue on the other nails. Not once did she apologize.
3) she applied the shellac all sloppy and uneven.
End of story this lady charged me $ 35 for a couple cuts and a bad nail job/:

This nail place is awful & the ladies are super rude! I brought my friend in with me to get a new set of nails put on, her nails came out crooked, really thick & the color was not the color she chose. Due to when I pointed out her nails being done poorly, they put another shellac color over the original color. They also charged her more money for having to fix them. I had asked for a design & was assured the lady doing my nails could do it, and was not able to. I was stuck with her attempt of the design on my nails when we walked out that day.
You’d think once you’ve left the nightmare is over, but no. My friends nails turned green & she had to be treated for an infection under her finger nails. I would never in my life step foot in this place again.

I have been coming here for over 10 years already, ever since I started getting my nails done and waxing my eyebrows. The only reason I keep coming is because I don’t trust anyone but Jessie with my brows but I don’t get my nails done here anymore. I kept noticing that their quality of work has downgraded so much and the last few times I’ve gotten my nails done here I leave really disappointed and frustrated that I even bothered to come again. Just this past Monday I came to get shellac because the place I usually go to is farther from my house and I really needed to get my nails done. The lady who did my nails was in such a hurry, only did 2 coats of color and left the top coat all over my cuticles. To top it off, I got charged $ 36 which left me speechless because the quality was not worth that much money. As soon as I walked out I felt my nails really rough at the tips and they were so thin because I’m used to always getting 3 coats of shellac plus the top coat which leaves my nails strong and the color lasts at least 3 weeks. I am back again today because my shellac already chipped and it’s only been 2 days since I got them done. Definitely not getting my nails done here ever again.

I have gone to this place for years … And slowly it becomes worse and worse …
I went a couple days back, and the lady that did my pedicure made my big toe bleed ! She claimed that I had an ingrown nail … Um I’ve never had that problem … I avoid dipping my foot in the water (for sanitary reasons) and she literally forced my foot in there … After that she insisted on putting an oil on my toe, when i asked her what it was for she just laughed. So i didnt let her. After that, when i was getting my nails done, the lady asked if i wanted my cuticles removed for an additional $ 5, something that used to be part of me getting my nails done … Suree. My friend also got her nails done and by yesterday just by simply placing hand sanitizer her nail color completely changed, then a couple hours later her nail broke … Honestly their work has downgraded so much ! Their sanitation and sterilization is to be questioned. I strongly regret going, and thats what I get for not wanting to drive to my new place.

Jessie is THE best! I get my face and eyebrows waxed by her and she always does a great job. I’ve been to other places where they’ve burned my eyebrows (I have really sensitive skin), made then too thin, made then uneven, believe me, I’ve been through the ringer and am not going anywhere else unless it Jessie! She’s really sweet and does a great job :)

I have been a regular here for about 9 years now… I used to get my nails done here but I actually found a better place for my pedi and refill. There prices change all the time when I got my nails done… I used to get them done by Jenny. She would charge me extra for different powder colors… She doesn’t like to do refills unless you really want one.
This review is mainly for Jessie, She is the ONLY one i trust with my eyebrows… she takes real good care of me. I never leave this place unsatisfied unless it is with another person. She also gives the best pedi… best massages! Eyebrows waxing is a very good price 6 $. Yay for Jessie :)
They do not take appointments anymore which sucks… so it is a first come first serve basis.

Jenny does the best nails to me! I have been coming to her for 16yrs=) she does them fast and fancy!

Its hit or miss. I thought I’d give them one more try so when I went in for my mani pedi they asked if I wanted gel I said no thank you, no gel… but they gave me gel. Jenny lead me to believe it was just a regular top coat and still up charged me. I told holly about it and she just giggled. I’m really disappointed in their lack of respect for my wishes. I’m going to think twice about coming back.

Holly is the very BEST! I have been coming here for a little over a year now, I must say they never disappoint! I am always satisfied with her work. I come here for eyebrows, nails, toes they are the best of the best. Lets not mention how they interact with their customers. They are always friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. They are very hard working and despite closing at 8 a customer is never turned down. I have seen them stay after hours for the simple fact that they value their customers that much =)

I really love this place, I’ve been going here for years and they always do an excellent job with my toes. My go to person is Jessie, she does wonders.
This is also the only place I trust with my eyebrows. I’ve had other women do it, but again my go to person is Jessie. I always get compliments on how my eyebrows are on point.
Definitely recommend this place to get Mani/​pedi. There’s a flat screen TV and they play movies and shows that are interesting for people to watch. Not shows that will distract them from doing quality work. Bad experience at another nail salon.
They try their best to accommodate you. I came 10 minutes before they closed and they were willing to give me a pedicure.
It’s better to call before you get here though.

Love going here for my pedicure. My lady, Kinh, does a great job trimming cuticle. It’s a bit far from my house to the salon but it’s worth the drive. All the girls are nice.

Holly (owner) does an AWESOME job on your nails. And, Jesse is just as AWESOME with pedi’s. They are very talented with their free style designs too! No appt. necessary, but if you have a particular person you like it’s best to call ahead. Otherwise, you can be waiting awhile for the person. If you’re short on time, you can get your mani/pedi’s done at the same time.
