This is our go-to Chinese place. It’s pretty typical American Chinese fare, but always tasty, close to home and quick to order take out. The price is right, too, we usually get two entrees, rice and ALWAYS crab rangoons(to die for) for ~$ 24 and the large portions easily last at least two meals for two.

Friendly, fast, and CHEAPAF. I can’t believe the portion sizes for how little you pay. Small dine in area, but I’ve never had a problem getting a table. The food is also very good. I have yet to find any thing better. I’d say the quality is on par, but at half the cost.

The food was made fresh to order and they were accurate with the to go order, however, the food quality was awful. The chicken chow mein portion was huge, but it was greasy and lacked flavor. The beef from the beef broccoli was mushy and coated heavily with some type of flour or cornstarch, gross. The Mongolian chicken was also coated with something as well, and the majority of the dish was onions and green onions. The only item the kiddos were able to eat was the orange chicken, but some pieces lacked chicken and was just batter. I wouldn’t suggest going here for Chinese food.

We ordered our party trays from Jade China and my guests loved the chow mein and fried rice. It was totally worth it. Liked that we don’t have to put down any down payment like some Chinese places, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The first time I came here I ordered chicken chow mein fried rice and chow fun. The portions were so amazing and the food was so delicious that we had to come back again! I’m a vegetarian and I’m glad there were a few vegetarian options that also came in bigger portions. I’m here a second time to try their vegetable chow mein to go. The space of the restaurant is a bit tiny, but considering a lot of people come in to pick up orders that were called ahead, the space didn’t really matter. There are also about 6 large tables if you decide to dine-in instead. The location of the area in my opinion compares to the saying«a diamond in the rust». A comparable authentic Chinese restaurant that can is easily missed. 5 stars for Jade China for delicious food and fast service! Definitely recommend. Thanks guys!

Good and consistent food and service. My husband frequents this place with his work buddies, but I go once in a while as well. They’re pretty speedy, so good if you have about an hour for your lunch break. They offer the same 3 Item Special at dinner time as they do during lunch. Everything always tastes fresh; not like they’re taking it off a steam table. No ambiance though, so don’t expect to go there for a nice dinner out. The dining area isn’t impressive, but definitely not dirty. The menu is huge, but we always just order off their special board.

Here’s what we ordered. Peking Spareribs, Salt and Pepper Calamari, House Chow Mein, Chicken with Broccoli, Assorted Vegetables with Bean Cake, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Appetizer Platter, BBQ Pork(char siu). Everything tasted great. We’ve been ordering chinese take out from many locations in the Santa Teresa and was surprised I’ve not heard of this restaurant. Luckily, I was trying out the eat24 App from Unilocal and was offered this restaurant as a suggestion. Definitely, my go to place now for chinese.

I’ve eaten from Jade China for as long as I could remember, but it wasn’t until recently that I found myself in their actual store. It’s located in the same plaza as Walmart and other stores, so parking is plentiful. The store is small and cozy, with a limited amount of tables. It’s definitely a place more popular as a «grab and go» or «pickup for a party» type of place. However if you were looking for a decent lunch with more bang for your buck, their 2 items+side is a way better deal than Panda Express or other places. They have a wide range of items to select from, they’ll probably have whatever Chinese favorite you’re craving. Plus, they fill up your box quite generously! In addition to the quantity and good deals, they also taste fresh, not like fast food. Previous experiences were completely from having their food at a number of parties. I want to say I have probably had everything they have. Among my favorites would be fried chicken, beef with broccoli, salt and pepper fish, salt and pepper spareribs(mhmm flavorful & crisp!), house fried rice, house chow mein, orange chicken… actually I pretty much like everything. The house chow mein has to be one of my favorite chow meins. Their party trays are very decently priced and they fill the tray up until you have a mound of food on top. The small size tray is perfect for when I have work potlucks where as the bigger tray is better suited for family parties!

I love this place!!! The staff there are very friendly and the food is great! The place is kept very clean also! The popular items my family and I get are: Salt and pepper spare ribs — this is full of flavor and crispy! Eggplant Tofu with spicy garlic sauce — sweet spicy garlic sauce, eggplant is cooked well it’s not over cooked and soggy like most places make it Peking spare ribs — this is like the salt and pepper spare ribs just coated with a red sauce. Don’t be fooled even though it’s covered in a sauce it’s still crispy! Crispy beef with garlic sauce — this is a must try!!! The beef is cut, fried, and cooked into their garlic sauce. And again, although it’s in a sauce it’s still crispy!!! Chinese chicken salad — this is also good! Refreshing to eat. I highly recommend this place! It’s affordable and delicious! Something that’s hard to find these days! I honestly do not go to any other Chinese resturaunts but this!

Hands down my favorite chinese fast food place! I go to both locations, this one on monterey or the one on berryessa depending on where I may be. This location is a little bigger than the one on berryessa in term of front of house space. There are a few tables to dine in, but it’s more of a to-go place in my opinion. I generally call in for pick up, but alway end up waiting a little after arriving and paying. Best bang for your buck chinese food! The boxes are always filled to the top, hot, and yummy. My usual orders: –house chow fun –crispy sesame beef –honey walnut shrimp –lemon chicken –chow mein The lemon chicken comes with sauce on the side which is nice, so the chicken stays crispy. I always crack the togo boxes open when I pick up the food so it doesn’t get soggy in the car ride home. The eggrolls here are not good. I wouldn’t recommend it. The appetizer platter was a little underwhelming to me. ‘Cause it came with two eggrolls and the fried wontons were literally fried wontons. They’re not the fried wonton rangoons. Aside from those items the shrimp and chicken was ok. Definitely would recommend this place as take-out for movie night at home or quick cheap dinner.

This is an average Chinese take out place. My wife and I tried fish fillet, Mongolian chicken, veg noodles and eggplant tofu with brown rice. The veg Noodles have absolutely no veggies. Mongolian chicken had weird chicken pieces that are not meant to be eaten. Probably a muscle or a ligament. Fish fillet was very tasty. I just loved it. Eggplant tofu was very ordinary. The quantity they give is pretty good but the quality is 5⁄10. I am giving 3 stars only because of the portion sizes.

Pros: cheap. Got a 3 item combo for 6.25. They pack the container with food. Sweet and sour pork was decent. Cons: the food was lackluster. I mean the food had no flavor and was bland. I can’t cook at all and it’s something that I would cook, which means it sucks. It’s one of the rare times I didn’t finish a plate. BBQ fried rice and chicken chow mein were terrible.

Came here for lunch with the boyfriend & this is Chinese take out done right! I love love love the portions they give you, they fill that platter to the top! $ 6.50, you get to pick three. I got the chicken chow mien, sweet & sour pork, & the fried chicken. All of them were delicious however I’d pass on the sweet & sour pork. I never really was a fan of if, but I wanted to give it a try again. Honey got the chow mien, kung pao chicken & the beef with broccoli. I wish I would’ve gotten the kung pao chicken like him. It was super flavorful & yummy! For Chinese food, it wasn’t your typical oily, make you feel sick after you eat a few bites kind of meal. It’s soooo good! & I will definitely be back!

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted in my life(trust me I’ve had my share of bad bad Chinese food and now this tops my list). Got togo order of Hunan chicken… Not sure how it’s supposed to taste but what they gave me should be called Hunan onion. It was like literally 75% onion, 15% other veggies such as bell pepper, and 10% chicken. And chicken tasted nasty too like it had weird texture. Well I like onion. In fact, I love onion. But when I order Hunan chicken I expect to get Hunan chicken. Why am I forced to become a vegetarian? Plus it was waaaaaay toooo salty. I literally had to eat a small scrap of chicken with a big ball of rice to balance out the saltiness. I usually don’t like throwing away food… but this time I just had to do it. I threw it away after eating few pieces of chicken. Goodbye Jade China. Idk why people go there… makes me really wonder as the place seemed quite busy.

Do not come here if you are expecting to have a sit down meal. This place is great for takeout Chinese food. Our favorite thing to get here is the chicken chow mein. Very delicious noodles, huge portion, low price. Whenever we have potlucks or get togethers, we always come here and get a huge tray. Their«small» tray costs less than $ 20 dollars after taxes and feeds a huge group. You can always call in your order and it will be ready pretty quickly for pickup. They also have combo boxes where you can choose 3 items for less than $ 7 dollars. This place is perfect when you don’t want to cook dinner and just want something fast and easy. Plus, the portions are so huge that you will most likely have leftovers for the next day.

Jade China is legit! Great tasting Chinese fast food to go, cheap price and very generous on servings. Unlike other Chinese fast food, Jade’s food never taste like its been sitting there for hours type of taste. This is my go to spot when I want quick Chinese for lunch and sometimes dinner. I would defiantly recommend this place!

I came here expecting good Chinese food(found this place rated pretty highly on Unilocal) and I was disappointed I didn’t get it. I’ve had better take-out Chinese food in the middle-of-nowhere, Ohio. As a first-timer in the Bay area, I was expecting more. First off, we ate in the restaurant, which was a mistake. The tables were small, rickety, and dirty. The bathroom was dingy and unclean. I know it’s supposed to be a take-out restaurant, so okay, I’ll take the blame for dining in. But, the food. Yes, I am all for huge portion sizes… but half of our dishes were onions. The food was also wayyyy greasy, and over-the-top spicy, even for the most spice-loving members of my family. We were all chugging our own water bottles(because they don’t provide water for you, even if you dine in).
